libertydoddle · 13/03/2016 23:31

Of course shop xx

QueenC · 14/03/2016 06:29

fedup thinking of you
shop feel free to pm/email/call me too. I second lib advice about writing a list of questions and noting down the answers.

LinusLovesBretons · 14/03/2016 06:49

fedup and shop thinking of you both today.

MarshaBrady · 14/03/2016 08:26

Fedup thinking of you, sending love Thanks

Shop hope this morning is ok Thanks

Justa good decision - beautiful bag

Mara how exciting!

Karcheer · 14/03/2016 09:41

Thinking of you both today x

BerniceBobsHerHair · 14/03/2016 09:56

So sorry Shop, what a shock and all my sympathies Fedup Flowers sorry I am only just catching up with the thread. Hope your chat with the consultant is useful Shop

Lib will be interested to see how you find the Hush jumpsuit. I actually sent mine (the l/s burgundy one) back in the end as I couldn't see when I would wear it. The top was quite blouson like as well which doesn't suit me.

I did smile reading that Blingy tries not to carry her crab around with her, funny typo.

Wedding was this weekend and I am still feeling a bit worse for wear. Everyone was quite smart so I think the dress was the right one. I just wore it with opaques and Ash jalouse as I didn't want to buy anything else for it!

Mara when is your big day?

The sun is shining today and it actually feels quite warm. Am wearing jeans, superstars, navy and white breton and raspberry coloured poncho to go out. What is everyone else wearing?

Stokey · 14/03/2016 10:31

Thinking of you both Fedup & Shop, hope today goes OK.

Glad the wedding went well Bernice, beautiful weather for it. I'm still waiting for an exchange on the pink Me & EM dress, fingers crossed.

I tried on the black version of the jumpsuit at the Hush sample sale Lib but it didn't do much for me. I think I'm too short-waisted booby to rock it.

Very exciting about the bag Mara. & you're so right about the pinafore, I have one very similar!

It may be a bit downmarket Blingy but H&M have a cotton conscious range that is actually decent quality. I also have a friend who is about to launch a label selling organic cotton t-shirts and sweatshirts, she's not quite ready but will link when she is.

Nursing a hangover here after final performance last night. OOTD blue R&B skinnies, white long-sleeved tee, "Winging It" sweatshirt & Stans.

libertydoddle · 14/03/2016 11:01

Morning all.

I wish there was a 'winging it' T in an autumn colour.

WFH today. My OOTD is People Tree jersey trousers, Gap oatmeal vest, H&M floral sweater, dark green Nike trainers.

Jalouse sound perfect with that dress Bernice.

SoyYo · 14/03/2016 11:03

Hi have been lurking on and off to keep up with the thread but life gets in the way of posting...
Fab links and chats (e.g hair removal)

shop wishing you all the best with your DF
fedup hate funerals too, its too final when what we really want is a Hug and to stay with the best memories...

On the fashion front I needed to replace one of my work Muubaa jackets as I discovered one had a small tear in the sleeve, shows how much I wear them! Don't want to spend a lot so ordered a couple from the sales and waiting for their arrival. I hope at least one will be a keeper.
Will link later if you're interested

Also got some Gabor wedges for the summer, I have wide feet so all your beautiful shoe links are just eye candy as I know they would never fit me. Is that a blessing in disguise? Wink

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 14/03/2016 11:39

Morning

Fedup thinking of you today.

Shop good luck for the meeting, hope it goes well.

Karcheer sorry to hear about your MIL, I hope things are OK.

I think you've made the right choice justa, the mini Marcie is gorgeous but so tiny.

Blingy you have to hunt, but asos will have some decent cotton stuff (I'd search "cotton" first but not all of it will be labelled)

My pinterest seems to be broken, when I try and pin something instead of bringing up the list of boards it just redirects to the original site in a smaller window. Anyone else?

Hope everyone has a nice day - the weather is so gorgeous at the moment :)

AmberNectarine · 14/03/2016 13:11

Popped out to buy a birthday card and came back with this!

Found it in TK Maxx clearance section. It has long been an ambition of mine to own a HL dress and it was a very reasonable price. Pics in the usual place - should I keep?

HappyGirlNow · 14/03/2016 13:58

Hi all, been v busy so just been dipping in and out, trying to catch up Grin

Love those drawstring trousers lib I've bought a couple pairs but only Zara ones.. So comfy but can still look great..

Had a great time at the Four Seasons in Geneva for husband's 50th a few weeks ago and picked up a cracker of a Breitling there for his birthday.. Party was fantastic too, wish we would do it all over again!

Also just had a bit of a splurge courtesy of said Breitling birthday watch coming in under budget Grin - thanks husband Wink

Gucci Soho Disco in white Got it in black already and love it...

Saint Laurent tote in burgundy

Gucci Soho wallet

LV shawl in black and

LV scarf in beige

Blush that's me till 2017!

Cranagh · 14/03/2016 14:04

Wow, HappyGirl, lovely things. I adore that Saint Laurent shopper.

So sorry about your friend, Fedup, very sad.

Best wishes to your DF, Shop.

AmberNectarine · 14/03/2016 14:23

Excellent spree Happy - I would like the LV scarf in purple.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 14/03/2016 14:39

Wow what a find Amber! I have a coral bandage dress from Oasis not worn in a while, might not be brave enough but am sure the real deal is a million times more sucky inny. Envy

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 14/03/2016 14:40

Happy wow, great buys! So glad you and your DH had a great time for his birthday, I remember you spent ages planning it. And sounds like a win win on the watch :)

shopafrolic · 14/03/2016 16:30

Gorgeous links Happy love the tote and he black scarf. Stunning choices.
Am at the hospital. DF will be here for at least 7-10 days. Need to start planning adjustments for him at home. Need to rethink things.
DHL delivered the McQueen bits earlier so will take a look this evening.

LinusLovesBretons · 14/03/2016 16:31

Impressive shopping happy! The Saint Laurent is gorgeous.

Where did you end up eating in Geneva?

amber love the colour of that dress.

lib very kind of you but if I make it to the MU I'll try and smell it in store somewhere.

LinusLovesBretons · 14/03/2016 16:33

X-post shop.

It sounds like you have a lot of thinking and decision making to do. Flowers

KittyHello · 14/03/2016 16:44

Flowers Fedup

Hope the chat with the consultant went as well as it could be Shop

Lovely buys Happy that Disco in white is gorgeous. I love the LV shawls and have been looking at them myself.

BerniceBobsHerHair · 14/03/2016 17:31

Just jumping in to say Jemima Vine are having a closing down sale - I know these were popular on the thread a while back and my pair of Edies are still going strong.

HappyGirlNow · 14/03/2016 17:38

Aw thanks all Grin There were 2 similar beige scarfs, one was slightly more expensive, described as 'shimmer' I think, looked lovely but it had polyester in it and was not about to pay £380 for a scarf/shawl with polyester (must have been required for the sheen) - these are both just wool and silk.

amber - the purple LV is gorgeous!

I just think that if I take care of them they'll be classics for years! Off to Italy end May and already planning them into evening outfits Grin and travel etc etc

Still waiting on the bags being delivered today - nominated day with NAP definitely means end of day! Super excited for both of them.

Only concerned re white leather as I'll def want to use the Disco with darker outfits, denims.. Confused I have bought a barrier cream but still concerned - does anyone have any ideas re how to protect it from colour transfer?

shop thank you, think I am more excited about the black scarf than the beige - black just looks so deep and rich!

linus I got fed up thinking about food for Geneva what with the Michelins being closed on the Sunday/Monday so we ended up eating at Les Armures on the first night and a basic Italian the second night. Les Armures was ok, though we've decided that fondue is not a 'meal' for us Wink

Loved Geneva though.. Not a great deal to see/do but it was all about the stay at the Four Seasons (amazing and they made it really special for the birthday) and the watch shopping. The Swiss were fantasic and it was a lovely clean city.

LinusLovesBretons · 14/03/2016 18:18

When we first moved here we also went to Les Armures as it's a Genevan institution but we've never been back. It's ok but nothing to write home about.

And you're right, there's not a lot to see and do, especially in winter. Wink

HappyGirlNow · 14/03/2016 18:41

Totally agree linus - nothing to write home about and wasn't really feeling the love from the staff, kind of felt they tried to get every penny out of tourists..

However, on the Sunday it was a bit of a heatwave - 16 degrees! Lovely sitting outside a cafe in the old town drinking Prosecco and listening to a busker - was not expecting that!

Bags just came. Gucci lovely - I do prefer it in black but want the white for summer..

The Saint Laurent is AMAZING! Love it Grin

LV scarves come tomorrow...
