EVER?
Christ it is relentlessly irritating. I popped back to look at a few after some time and enough already guys - you can only style a pair of skinny jeans so many ways.

We killed the thread.

angryupsetpissedoff · 02/01/2016 17:07

Well you lot upset Poppy didn't you!! Harsh comments maybe in some cases but I wouldn't call troll, I wouldn't like it but then I don't put my life or fashion choices out there in a blog for all to read, surely if you do you'd expect some negative comments?

BrendaandEddie · 02/01/2016 17:17

upset her?

OP posts:
helloworlditsme · 02/01/2016 17:18

Check out her last instagram post

helloworlditsme · 02/01/2016 17:18

Sorry this is angry upset.... name changed as that name was for when I was posting in a rage with my DH

BrendaandEddie · 02/01/2016 17:20

oh not that interested

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 02/01/2016 17:26

I thought Instagram was just pictures? Never used it.

helloworlditsme · 02/01/2016 17:33

Instagram is pictures with comments underneath and extremely excessive #tagging. I posted more because I was surprised anyone who posts publicly on the internet would react to something like this thread, which I wouldn't say contains unacceptable comments really, surely you would expect conversation about your posts be they positive or negative.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 02/01/2016 17:37

Oh right.

She can wear what she wants. People don't have to like it though. Anybody who puts pictures of their clothes on the internet should realise that not everybody is going to love it all.

Not sure why bloggers would choose to read a thread like this anyway. It's obvious from the title that it's hardly going to be full of peace and love.

DickDewy · 02/01/2016 17:44

Poppy has come on here before and has been very gracious about the fact that some comments are going to be on the negative side.

If you're a fashion blogger, you have got to expect some people are not going to like all of your clothes, especially if you don't play it safe, as she doesn't.

Methenyouplus4 · 02/01/2016 18:41

I'm not sure anyone said much about her other than they didn't like her style? Which is fair play surely? Could have been aimed at something else.

lurkingabit · 02/01/2016 19:17

Had a look at poppy on Instagram. In fairness she hasn't criticised this thread. Just a big 'troll free zone' pic. Didn't realise we were trolls. Some of her followers have criticised and one even mentioned 'twunts' shock horror

BrendaandEddie · 02/01/2016 19:22

In fairness, I said her trousers didn't look to fit her very well. (The proportions just never look right to me.) Maybe that was it. Hmm

CuffsAndCollar · 02/01/2016 19:41

A bit ingenuous to (pretend to) not understand why somebody might find some of the comments on this thread hard to hear.

GiddyGiddyGoat · 02/01/2016 19:41

Have never looked at these blogs before. Bloody hell some of them are crap - harmless but crap. Poppy, I'm sorry but if you post pics of yourself on a blog don't be surprised if people have views about what you're wearing - when your posts are about what you're wearing! Those flares DO NOT FIT YOU. At all.

CuffsAndCollar · 02/01/2016 19:43

Combination of style assassination in tandem with analysis of addictive personalities, grieving styles and appropriateness of how to discuss family members perhaps.

BrendaandEddie · 02/01/2016 19:53

blogs - you put it out there....

OP posts:
GiddyGiddyGoat · 02/01/2016 19:57

Exactly Brenda, exactly...

SouthWestmom · 02/01/2016 20:02

Disingenuous.

SouthWestmom · 02/01/2016 20:05

I definitely said they looked like they wouldn't quite make it as models but wanted to be. I'm sure that's true though, and if you pose online in a 'look at me in a model pose' people might think that.

CuffsAndCollar · 02/01/2016 20:05

Sure, and you put your comments regarding bloggers 'out there' on here, and they might have an opinion on those and may respond. Not particularly surprising.

CuffsAndCollar · 02/01/2016 20:06

'Disingenuous'

Yeah.
