EVER?
Christ it is relentlessly irritating. I popped back to look at a few after some time and enough already guys - you can only style a pair of skinny jeans so many ways.
STOP BUYING STUFF*

mrscampbellblack, the comment is here

Awks · 03/01/2016 10:29

Not exactly handbags at dawn, is it? All seems very reasonable and polite on the surface, anyway

WipsGlitter · 03/01/2016 10:33

I can't see the comment - just a huge list of posts.

nipersvest · 03/01/2016 10:36

its all polite yes, the point is its unnecessary.

WipsGlitter · 03/01/2016 10:38

Oh - scrolled up and saw it. Meh.

I do like Susies blog though. In fact in these sort of threads no one ever disses her!

I still think having a rich husband helps. Kat would be have so much time to "craft content" if Griege made her go back to work.

Awks · 03/01/2016 10:51

lols at Greige

lurkingabit · 03/01/2016 12:19

Love Susie's blog. I also like Eve at Allwornout. There's a certain honesty about those blogs. They keep it real. And I don't think either of them are massively acquisitive. Appeals to me way more than WIT

chanie44 · 03/01/2016 12:26

Schoolgatestyle had (don't know if she still does) something on her site saying she is 'PR friendly'. You can really tell the sponsored posts and that why I stopped reading.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 03/01/2016 12:30

I really like Susie So So's blog. It's better written than most of the others I've seen. I don't like her 'Jeans and a colourful sweatshirt' style terribly much, although it clearly suits her and her lifestyle - it's a bit toddler-esque. But I like that she clearly thinks for herself and doesn't just jump on to every bandwagon going, and that she only posts when she's got something to actually show or say, rather than trying to make something up every day.

CadburysTastesVileNow · 03/01/2016 12:40

Susie is SO pleasant - her blog just resonates with cheery niceness. I bet you couldn't fit so much as a sheet of paper between her blog image and the real Susie.

I like AllWornOutEve too - for her genuineness. And all her stuff seems to be constantly recycling around her many sisters, so though someone upstream said she buys too much, it certainly gets used hard if she does.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 03/01/2016 12:48

Eve definitely wears things again and again. I like her too, but don't like many of her outfit choices. I do like the fact that a lot of her stuff is from places like Topshop, so is what normal people can afford.

SouthWestmom · 03/01/2016 12:51

Just read those comments: they all take themselves super seriously don't they? Plus interesting that they all just seem to be bloggers reading blogs and commenting.
A t least this thread has shown me what's out there and I can safely close all the links and not feel I'm missing out.

BrendaandEddie · 03/01/2016 12:55

Greige?

CointreauVersial · 03/01/2016 13:07

His name is Grieg, apparently. But Greige has a nice ring to it. Grin

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 03/01/2016 13:11

Wow, there are whole forums out there dedicated to discussing bloggers of all kinds, yet a couple of the ones being discussed on one MN thread are so thin skinned that they have to put up "wah wah me me me" posts, so that their fans can massage their egos give them head pats to feel better?
("Anyone who doesn’t like it needs to perhaps get a tighter grip on reality" - Riiiiiight!)

Poppy should see what's been said about her on GOMI. The others are too small fry

NattyGolfJerkin · 03/01/2016 13:19

God, I love GOMI & GuruGossip. Brutal. Like old MN

Larastheme · 03/01/2016 13:19

waving why is it almost immoral Confused, its their money, they are not harming anyone,
Since I'm not living in the UK anymore, only visit these blogs when they are linked on here, and Kat cream should really be thankful, just think of the traffic she is getting from this thread, so jumping on every opportunity wether its about something said on here or on suise's blog to defend sponsored links and freebies, just shows lack of professionalism,
I salute suise for saying those things , her blog is a reflection of herself and is so unique,

WipsGlitter · 03/01/2016 13:32

The minute it goes from hobby to income generation it has to change. The pressure to post means content is no longer "crafted" but you have to write about any old shite. Or buy lots of stuff, blog about it then send it back.

WipsGlitter · 03/01/2016 13:33

And yes, the only people commenting on blogs are other bloggers. Confused

Oxfordblue · 03/01/2016 13:48

What's GOMI ?

NattyGolfJerkin · 03/01/2016 13:58

GOMI is Get Off My Internets, a talk forum for slagging off discussing bloggers & vloggers

nipersvest · 03/01/2016 14:12

i didn't realise they were in the same area, maybe kat got the cream was miffed she didn't get an invite to the aldi do susie so so went to.

Annarose2014 · 03/01/2016 15:18

I really like Susie too. She doesn't buy much and seems to be pretty grounded. I really like that if something doesn't fit she just gets the scissors out and makes it fit.

Also, Fashion Mum of 40 who at least attempts to practise self control.

In a sea of over consumption, the ones who try to rein it in and be sensible are the ones I seem to like the most.

ButImNotTheOnlyOne · 03/01/2016 19:26

Ah come on. Some of these comments are personal. There's so much wrong in the world to go at, why have a go at a couple of mums writing a harmless fashion blog?

Jeez. Stop with all the judgement . and so what if Kat isn't grieving how you think she ought to be. The coat she wore to her mum's funeral was important to her. And I for one, think it's pretty crappy to knock that.

nipersvest · 04/01/2016 12:41

i'm fairly certain, given they put themselves out there online, they'll be used to the odd negative personal comment. the point about kat got the cream is that she doesn't need to defend anything really, if people don't like what she posts, so what, ignore and just carry on doing what you're doing.

i follow many blogs, fashion and crafting, and despite my earlier comments about dmbl40, i look forward to kat's daily posts and enjoy the virtual shopping trips i get without leaving the house, and i have purchased a few things she has linked to (that were within my budget). and in time i will forgive her for making me fall in love with a khaki knitted poncho thingy she featured, i got all excited thinking where was it from?, mango?, asos?, zara maybe, but alas no, it was acne studios and about £350 Envy
