To add OOTD is Forever 21 sweatshirt, R13 jeans and silver trainers.

And this is the closest I can find to what they look like against skin colour

None of which is bad. I mean it's a colour that can look pretty luxe.

But I'm wondering whether I'd prefer a brighter colour?

Marsha I like the colour but I'm not sure I'd wear ballet flats in it. If it's heels then it has a lengthening effect. But I'm not the best person to advise, not a big fan of flats!

Marsha oh that's tough. I think I would prefer them a little lighter than that - or a colour as you say. Sorry.
My Uniqlo Carine faux fur jacket arrived and it is actually pretty good. Tried it with R&B black skinnies, pistols and a black crew neck - it's quite boxy. Good shape.
And finally Collonil, I use Waterstop or Nanopro (I think that's the name)

yeh Shop it bugs me to pay so much for something that you'd probably have to look at to see. Love them other than that

Actually auditions is a bit of an exaggeration. There are only parts for secondary kids and above, so we just signed up and will be allocated a song & a scene so general chorus. I'm guessing all the smaller kids like dd1 will be in the orphanage, not sure what I'll get. You could audition for main roles, Nancy etc., but while I love singing, I'm more enthusiastic than tuneful!

I think I'd go for more of a colour too, Marsha. They look very pretty though.

marsha mine are a more pinky blush but have the metallic toe so maybe that's why the colour looks different too.

Is it matches that had rubbish customer service?

Marsha not sure about the Lanvins, something about the elastic and skin tone that doesn't look right.

Stokey the play sounds fab, did drama in my youth and was so much fun. Lovely thing to do with dd too.

QueenC I did shred again this morning too, will be back on level 1 for a while. Can comfortably close the button on my skinnies again so must have lost a couple of lbs from the Christmas tummy. Don't weigh myself but can tell straight away the slightest change from how clothes fit.

In town earlier on I checked out this smythson backpack in khaki that have really liked for a while. Is half price in sale but still £400 and don't think my laptop will even fit in it so left it.

Linus sorry haven't got a white co code atm but they normally send out 15% off as a matter of course and can quite often find 20% ones online. One of those annoying shops like gap where I would never pay do as they are constantly discounting. Just charge a lower price and have done with it. Don't know if you've tried trotters for dc but I got ds pyjamas in their sale and some gorgeous liberty print tops for friends dds.

OOTD - Theory taupe cardi, Gap kakhi skinnies, Uniqlo top, Nike trainers.

The skinnies have to go - I love the colour but like Shop the fit of them doesn't seem to work for me at all. Too big on the waist and tight around my calves so bunching behind my knees - uncomfortable and looks crap. I really want some well fitting kakhi skinnies though if if any of you see some let me know.

she's okay lib she's currently in her new bed which arrived this morning. she's been in and out of it all day so i'm pleased she approves of it! it's rainging hard here atm so i'm glad im indoors in the warm

My dcs have been so gorgeous today. Ds tucked his rabbit in with me earlier and asked him to look after me. Then he got into bed with me to watch TV and kept breaking off every once in a while to hug and kiss me and tell me he loved me. In the meanwhile, dd was out at a party and when dh picked her up, she asked if she could go via the shop so she could get me flowers and then came up to my room to give them to me. I feel so unwell but those were magic moments.

Sinusitis is so horrible. I use a Vicks steam inhaler with Friars Balsam in it. Inhale the steam at least 4 times a day to ease the pressure. Take care x

Evening all. The headache turned out to be a migraine so once I'd got rid of it I had the hangover feeling for most of the day. Shoukd have just joined in with drinking last night!
