Wearing cobalt blue today, one of my favourite colours to wear. I realised that I could not live without cobalt blue or navy.
So today's question is....
-if you could only wear 2 colours for the rest of your life what would they be?

I'm with you on cobalt Queen but the other would be black.

Navy and burgundy I think QueenC although must say am enjoying a rare foray into black this week.

Today's 'work' ootd is black marant pleated skirt, cream silk shirt with black velvet collar & cuffs that I got in aubin & wills about 5 years ago. It has a ribbon tie at neck but have left it open with a couple of buttons undone so I can wear mikimito pearl necklace. Black patent ferragamo flats, too much walking for heels. Feels good to smarten up my act a bit.

Lib how are the mozzie bites today, any better? Glad you're having a fab break apart from that though.

Tricky question queenc but it would have to be cobalt like you and a blue-ish light grey. For winter that is....

For summer I might have to change my mind on the second colour and go for white.

Good point Linus, for summer I choose navy and white .

Two colours! That's a tough one. Olive and cream...would hate to be limited to 2 though.

Work outfit sounds great Mara. Bites much improved today and no new ones. Am shattered. Took DD out to give DH a chill out day. She is in a 'doesn't shut up' combined with bossy phase. Hard. Work.

Bought a lovely Breton style mustard and cream cotton beach dress today. Very short but perfect for hols. Apart from that has been a shopping free holiday. Saw a woman today with a navy pliage style bag but with a cross body strap and external side pockets. I now NEED one! Will check out if they have a Longchamp shop when we change at Doha on return journey.

QueenC I would not be impressed at having to explain 'slag' I hated JW books when my little sister was in that phase.

I hate the word 'slag' - so misogynistic.

I also hate it when DMBL40 refers to herself as a slut, especially as she actually means a slattern.

QueenC I would probably pick navy and black - bit dull though. I like navy and burgundy together Mara.

Shopping was depressing today, I feel like there's just rubbish in the shops maybe because everyone buys on line. And the lack of staff working considering it's 2 weeks before Christmas was appalling. I couldn't find the Warehouse top to try Bernice or anything similar.

I love shoes Stokey - always drawn to buying them over anything else but I haven't had luck with the 2 adidas - the flatforms arrived but they'd sent me white instead of black! Black sold out everywhere. The burgundy superstars are really nice but I remembered I have a pair of Camper trainers the same colour so I've been good and sent them back.

But now I've bought these instead

I would wear red and black if I could only have 2. Have realised that I could own an entire wardrobe of grey, black, dark blue denim, red and fuschia (in fact I pretty much do).
Face timed the lovely Dry tonight. Her latest Christmas creation for school is an absolute winner and had my D.SC. in stitches - he was still laughing about it at bedtime.
My red Zatchels bag has finally arrived - I forgot they make to order, I'd almost forgotten I'd ordered it!
Kitchen is coming along, granite is fitted on Monday and the builder has promised all the decoration will be done by Christmas so fingers crossed.

Hello! Just read this page as there is too much to catch up on. Belated Happy Birthday Dry, hope you had a good one. I'm with you on the black and grey, as they dominate my winter wardrobe. I would switch the black for navy in the summer. Are different shades allowed?

Morning. I've been in Bucharest for a couple of days. Interesting and nice hotel.

Lots of skirts here today as first, more casual, Christmas drinks. I've updated by wearing Rag&Bone boots - still in acne skinnies.

Only thing is I don't feel like drinking tonight - hopefully will get in the mood.

Christmas shopping is finished . Decided to nip into town after school run and get it done. There's only one thing left I need to order and that's a lego baseplate! I also wanted to check out silver bags namely the michael kors one but the MK store, HOF or HN didn't have it. I ended up buying a different MK one as it was the last in stock and I'd already walked away from it 3 times but decided I needed to bring it home to play with. I'll link bags later when ive had a better think....

Coming out of HOF I spied this blouse. Wasn't sure I could make the neck tie work but I think I can. I love the softness and slouchiness of it.

blair how you feeling today? I adore navy and coral in the summer. I used to have a coral cardi that I wore loads and then go rid of after colour diagnosis.

I can't do jan mu but am thinking of popping down in February/March if I can find a weekend as I want to get a couple of new bits for vegas.
