hello all

had a horrible day, my cat suddenly turned extremely aggressive and attacked both me and Dsis. it seems she (the cat) is ill rather than her suddenly becoming a monster so she's booked into the vets tomorrow but i had to go and be attended to as she bit me when i got between her and dsis to stop her hurting dsis. obviously, illness will excuse such behaviour, ive never ever seen her the way she was this morning so quickly pieced things together. Dsis has gone to family for christmas early so as to avoid further distressing the cat and also cutting the risk of her further becoming aggressive as she only turned when dsis came in after being out for the previous night. really hoping the vets get her sorted out as i'd be devastated to lose her

Two swollen eyes blingy!! Two! They have thankfully gone down today. I'm having some type of overall reaction to the bites, my lips and tongue were a bit swollen too. DH reckons we need an emergency kit for future hols in case I stop breathing!! He has just been out to get 95% feet spray as the 50% one I am drowning myself in is not cutting it. Sounds awful but tbh I am happy out sitting in the room, with the air con on reading the full set of Anne of Green Gables ultimate comfort reading and doing sticker books with DD.

karcheer the Aromatherapy Associates bathoils are gorgeous but £££. I especially like Deep Relax which sends me to sleep immediately.

Oh no one, poor cat and poor you! My kitten is still a bit of a prick and will randomly launch himself at me but it is just play (I think!) and he never does it to the kids. He's great with them actually - yesterday DD climbed into a cardboard box with him and 'took him for a drive' - he had to play a character called Linda.

I've also got a posh christening to go to on Saturday - it's in Mayfair with a big lunch after. The couple live abroad and are very designer, I've no idea what to wear. We're going on the tube & will have the kids with us so no heels, probably Pettys on my feet, but not sure what else. Can I wear a black suede button up mini-skirt to church? Or I could wear black silk midi dress I wore to MU in the summer, or DvF wrap dress although they feel a little off-trend at the moment. (sorry slight waffle there!)

Dd asked me tonight what a slag is. She read it in a Jacqueline Wilson book. Im wondering whether those books are now a bit old for her.

Had to go to a meeting today and it was near the Range and Dunelm Mill. Nipped in as ive never been in them before. Some seriously good homeware stuff. Need to go again when I have time to browse.
Wasn't happy with today's outfit as I put on barely black pop socks. Felt like an old lady. I won't be wearing those again!
