for me

QueenCardi · 29/11/2015 09:44

marsha would your wear this colour

Karcheer · 29/11/2015 10:06

I love that dress and colour although I'd worry it might make me look matronly with my boobage.

I need to get my NYC wardrobe sorted this week.
Plus try and make some progeria with christmas shopping for everyone!

Karcheer · 29/11/2015 10:09

Progeria?!?! Progress!

HappyGirlNow · 29/11/2015 13:34

Love that black gown queen Grin

25% off everything at French Connection so I've ordered this jumper in both colours as I've had my eye on it for a while but wasn't keen on paying almost £100 apiece... Always wary of spending too much on knitwear as its so prone to catching on things, fuzzing up...

HappyGirlNow · 29/11/2015 13:37

Posted too soon!

Also considering this one

Am thinking of them for Geneva with leather skinnies and chunky boots... And my new disco Grin

Anyone looking for a discounted fushia Zarita

It's 30% off and SaleSeries15 should get you another 10% off.

LinusLovesBretons · 29/11/2015 15:18

Nice going out top for queenc or you could wear it to work with a jacket.

LinusLovesBretons · 29/11/2015 15:19

Those FC jumpers will look perfect with leather skinnies happy!

HappyGirlNow · 29/11/2015 15:54

Grin linus

KittyHello · 29/11/2015 17:00

Blingy big,big thank you for the Selfridges code Flowers I am now the owner of a nude Zarita.

Karcheer · 29/11/2015 17:05

This Carven dress is lovely! shame burgundy isn't an Autumn colour.

I really think I should buy something every week because having this long shopping gaps means I really struggle to buy things when I have too :(

AmberNectarine · 29/11/2015 17:24

I got the old November block on my card from the bank the other day. Quite embarrassing when they reel off the list of transactions and I have to confirm that actually, yes, it was me and not some fraudster.

Still, going into December I have done nearly all my shopping so I can chill a bit!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 29/11/2015 18:37

Hey everyone, just caught up on all the great links and buys :) we've had PILs staying for the weekend so haven't had a moment to sit down to catch up or browse. My black friday starts now!

Friday was DH's birthday - thanks again Linus & LinusDH for the Benares recommendation, we loved it.

Just bought this top from the outnet clearance to go with my Clover Canyon skirt - trying to look like Giovanna Battaglia but obviously less cool. I pinned the top ages ago but it seemed to disappear so I'm pleased.

justa I'm ok thanks - just feel very tired all the time at the moment. Should get answers on Tuesday. :)

Lib I missed you leaving... hopefully you'll pop in to say hi soon, but have a fantastic time.

Dry I read your cake story as you polished your domestic goddess BRA - not sure why Confused but am sure the cake was yummy anyway!

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 29/11/2015 19:22

hello all.

dsis finally got me to cave and i put my decorations up. it's like living with an elf in truth, i've never ever known anyone who loves christmas quite so much. on the plus side, my door wreath that i made looks really lovely, i think i did a good job to say it was down in tiny slivers of time between dashing to classes and writing assignments/composing music for assignments. unfortunately the clips from some of my peacocks which i clip to the curtain rail have come off and some of the feathers on the bodies have started to come away but it's nothing i can't fix so i have glued and stitched them and am waiting for them to dry before they can go in their usual places. I know, I know it's still just november but she's been nagging me for the last few weeks to put them up and i am a broken woman right now Grin

Drywhitethanks · 29/11/2015 19:48

QueenC you know me well....I love both D and G items you linked. Lace black top,fab and the black shift is very much like my Zara that I wore to the MU wearing to Xmas do on Friday

Karcheer I LOVE the Carven dress and the colour if lo lovely.

MarshaBrady · 29/11/2015 20:03

QueenC they are gorgeous. Not sure I have the right things that would go - what would it be, pale grey blue perhaps. But they are so nice.

Karcheer I love it too. Someone buy it. That's my favourite I can't wear it colour.

MarshaBrady · 29/11/2015 20:08

Blair really like your top and the outfit

shopafrolic · 29/11/2015 20:50

Not sure about that dress for me Fedup as cream is a no go for me and looks a bit too floaty.
Lovely weekend - took DS to see Elf the musical yesterday. Fab lunch at a lovely hotel nearby. Feeling very festive.
Am still in kitchen hell with no sink so thrilled to be invited for dinner at friends this eve.
Can't put any decorations up here until the kitchen is back together as all our rooms are 'decorated' with the contents of the kitchen cupboards ATM! Granite doesn't go in until the 18th so a while to go yet. How is the bathroom going Marsha?

Karcheer · 29/11/2015 21:11

We aren't having decorations this year, unless I put tinsel on the scaffolding!

QueenCardi · 29/11/2015 21:14

karcheer could you really not do that colour dress? It looks like one of those purpley burgundy cross over colours that summers, autumns and winters could do. Might be worth trying?
one can't believe you have the decorations up. The dc would have happily put ours up today as we had to root around in the boxes looking for the advent calendars. I won't do it too early though othetwise im sick of them by christmas day.
I'm so excited because as a university employee im eligible for a nus card. Woohoo. Discounts Smile

Drywhitethanks · 29/11/2015 21:35

DH has gone off piste and put up multi coloured flashing lights outside our house Shock . He's hankered over coloured lights for our whole married life and I loath them. Now they're up I can't do anything about them. Bloody awful, but could be worse, at least there's no flashing Santa and reindeer Grin there's always next year

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 29/11/2015 21:41

queenC i have been resisting my dsis's pleas for them to go up for weeks now, she is basically the living embodiment of an actual elf but tonight i broke down and caved in. i don't have a proepr tree as the cat just destroys them year after year so it's mostly garlands, tinsel and lights in the front room. she's been sneaking various standing decorations up for the past week and a half and i couldn't take the pleading any longer!

HappyGirlNow · 29/11/2015 21:44

Love that crop top blair

AmberNectarine · 29/11/2015 21:51

I stood and watched my parents have a protracted argument about Xmas lights yesterday dry. My mum still talks about the time my dad went rogue and put coloured, flashing LEDs on the balcony. I remember walking down the road from work (I was in my early 20s) and thinking 'oh fuck, she'll go mental).
