kitty as part if my autumn diagnosis I gave up black I hadn't worn it at all until a couple of weekends ago when I went out and raided my old going out clothes! I'd made it from about February (I think it was when I had my colours day :/) to now, pretty good going.

My mum wants a bobble hat for Christmas, but she wants faux fur which brand do you think is the nicest? My Amelia Jane one is real, but mum couldn't wear real fur...

Cool pom Pom hats. I haven't really seen anyone in them but it's still so mild. I did see someone in a lovely red woollen hat the other day though which looked great.
betty ive done well on my resolutions. Mine were to buy no lipsticks or nail polishes but buy more shoes and dresses. No lipsticks and only 2 nail polishes (one was a replacement for a gloopy one) which is good. I have bought loads of shoes and ive bought about 4 dresses. I've got a pin board of all my purchases this year and it is rather frightening though how much I've bought . Next year I will try to buy less.....

Dh and my mum are nagging me for my christmas list...so it got me thinking...

Sorry karcheer that sounded really rude . You'd have to have lots of expensive bling to put in it as otherwise it would cost more than the bling.

I don't know what i'd put on an ultimate christmas list, i like getting surprises so even though i have an amazon wishlist, i don't expect other people to buy for me from it, it's more for my benefit to keep track of all the things i've seen that i like!

I hate surprises. So much so I've had a big strop today as he wanted to get me a surprise for my birthday bear in mind I found out my main present (which was the trip to NYC) totally by accident.
We've also argued because id decided what to get him and them today he's gone and got the exact same thing but a different make so now I can't get what I was going to get him.
Bah humbug!

Im obviously having a breakdown.......

DH's birthday. Decided to make him a cake. Needed 250g ground almonds Nigella's clementine cake,highly recommend only had 150.
Went to supermarket to buy extra.
Weighed 100 out.
Mixed ingredients.
Put cake in oven.
Polished Domestic goddess tiara.
Then.......
Saw.........
Extra 100g ground almonds still in weighing scales shit,shit,shit

But actually it was ok after half a bottle of prosecco

Morning. Could I request that everyone whispers this morning. After goodness knows how much prosecco, harvey wallbangers and French Martinis, I'm feeling a little delicate. But I do have gorgeous raspberry coloured gel nails which should hopefully see me through the next two weeks of parties/nights out.

Morning! Thanks for the chemise love, I got it for her with some Tom Ford perfume. Christmas shopping officially started.....I have just done a £1200 Selfridges online shop. I am amazed dh's credit card radar hasn't set the sirens off. (by the way the code for 20% off at Selfridges is SELFCCE)

Karcheer I keep meaning to say. New York is normally freezing cold in December because the winds coming off the Hudson are bracing and whip round the tall buildings. Most people abandon fashion in lieu of practical warm stuff. I try and mix the two. So for me this means....my JL cashmere beanie or Warehouse Pom Pom hat that covers my ears is a must, as is my John Lewis cashmere snood, and M&S cashmere lined leather gloves. Nice thick black JL Collection wool coat and RB knee high boots.

FedUp, love those earrings, I wear Tiffanys version of them every day.
