No chance Blair Grin. It will be ripped apart immediately!!

LinusLovesBretons · 17/11/2015 11:30

Very Envy about the M&S calendar lib!

As it happens I just used up my Emma Hardie balm last night so I will have to order some more online as they don't sell it here. I love it but the stupid pot drives me crazy. Don't drop it as the outer casing shatters really easily (the product inside is well protected though)

Jeans and cashmere jumper again today, must do better!

maradesbois · 17/11/2015 12:08

Morning!

On my way into uni even though it's study day (mature student swot!). IM sale tempting me though as are some French sole x liberty velvet slipper flats. Will link later. Ootd is ts skinnies, marant boots, white shirt, cashmere sweater, tweed blazer and new lp scarf. Didn't know about the storm but this heavy humid weather is annoyingly hard to dress for. Very envious that you're off on hols lib.

Blingy forgot to say yesterday I loved your take on casual with a Liz Taylor sized rock Smile. The outfit sounded very chic with just the right amount of signature embellishment!

Morning!

On my way into uni even though it's study day (swot) but tempted by various diversions such as IM sale and some French sole x liberty black velvet slipper flats. Will link later. Ootd is ts skinnies, marant boots, white shirt & cashmere sweater, tweed jacket and new lp scarf. Hard to dress for this heavy humid weather. Very envious of your forthcoming hols lib.

Blingy I loved the pic of your ring and btw only you could manage to keep a look casual while sporting a Liz Taylor worthy rock Grin.

Marsha how many times per week are you running? Am trying to get back into it, went on Sunday but stuck with yoga this morning as my legs were so sore.

maradesbois · 17/11/2015 12:19

Sorry for semi double post, have started writing them in notes as keep losing things!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 17/11/2015 12:46

Shock Lib! You'll have to do a beauty haul pic of the lot so we can share in the amazingness.

I'm so annoyed with Pinterest. Today about a third of my feed seems to be "Picked for you" pins. I've sent them a feedback message saying how much I wish I could turn them off! I hide them all but more just keep popping up.

As I was back to work yesterday I finally got my Gap parcel (skirt). Amber was right and it was ridiculously big, I'm so fed up of vanity sizing so it's going back rather than exchanging.

safetyzone · 17/11/2015 12:58

Late to reply, but I've not bought it (yet) Liberty.

Hoping for December sales...

QueenCardi · 17/11/2015 14:39

The wind has definitely picked up here. No chance yet again of Dd staying in her own room all night as the wind and rain scares her.

lib id totally forgotten you are going away. You must be so excited.
blingy I must have missed that you were feeling unwell. Hope the Dr can sort you out.

Just done more Christmas shopping. I intend to do the rest online. I wore low heeled boots and it was amazing how different I felt being a little bit dressed up (for me that is. I realise that low heeled boots are not everyone's idea of dressing up!). Tried a few things on in gap as I wanted some longer black trousers but the ones I liked looked silly with boots. Found some lovely other ones but sadly the elastated waist did me no favours. Got a few bits for Dh and dc though as everything was 40% off.

QueenCardi · 17/11/2015 14:41

Tried these brogues on and was pleasantly suprised that they looked ok. V comfy too. But I wasnt 100% about them as they're a bit too masculine still so didn't buy. The black patent ones looked bloody awful Grin

QueenCardi · 17/11/2015 14:44

Dd very generously gave me some of her own money for my birthday so I bought this hat. I think it looks ok and will let her decide whether she thinks I should keep it. I wanted to get something from accessorise as I wanted to get her something with the money too (I got her hair clips). Loads of lovely party bags in store too...

QueenCardi · 17/11/2015 14:46

I fell a little bit in love with this

VivaVegas · 17/11/2015 15:23

Queen did you post these LKBennet Boots just seen them in the flesh and they are gorgeous!

libertydoddle · 17/11/2015 17:12

I love accessorise ATM QueenC. Lovely bags there. That butterfly one is gorgeous. Cute hat! How sweet of your DD!

I have a very long sales wish list viva Smile getting impatient for them now.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 17/11/2015 18:23

i love that hat QueenC it's really sweet of your dd to do that for you Smile

the only thing i've bought recently is a star wars tee which i love just a little bit. very annoyed that the mens and kids ranges of star wars related clothing are so much better than the womens ones, women like star wars to, d'ya hear?!

Drywhitethanks · 17/11/2015 19:40

What kind of name is 'Barney' for a storm? Hmm.....its picking up out there.

QueenC LOVE that butterfly bag.

Watching the football, going to be emotional. Feeling proud of my country tonight.

MarshaBrady · 17/11/2015 20:48

Windows are singing in the wind

Mara I try to do four times a week. 3 after work and one at the weekend. Doing it instead of commuting has been a lifesaver, I just don't think I'd find the time otherwise and would feel it. Although I would like to do classes in a gym very soon too for a different type of exercise. Where did you see the IM sale btw?

Blair yes it's going to be cold, snow in some places!

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 17/11/2015 22:58

just seen the forecast for the weekend up north here and it doesn't look to be at all warm! to be honest though, i've been in my long wool coat for a few weeks now as i do really feel even the slightest of chills so self care! the weekend may be the time the hand warmers come out though!

ootd was a dark green and purple tartan pinafore dress with black tee underneath and a long black ribbed cardigan, standard opaques and today i wore my uggs as my feet were freezing this morning

maradesbois · 17/11/2015 23:23

Marsha 4 times a week is great. I need to think about running home too but lots of logistics to sort out, don't have a locker or any storage space so would need to carry everything. I got an email about IM sale starting today in store only. Think its on all week, 40% off all current stock apart from what they call 'classics'. Unfortunately the camel coat I really like comes under the latter. Did pick up the following though:

checked shirt

pleated skirt. Don't like it here as much as irl, think it would look better with ballet flats or heels than the shoes they've styled it with that cut off at the ankle.

Vegas those LKB boots are fab!

QueenC that's lovely of your dd. Really like the brogues, they are very similar to mine.

MarshaBrady · 17/11/2015 23:35

Mara love the skirt, the other link says gateway time out on my phone. Perhaps it's the light flannel shirt. I'm really keen to go before it ends!

Clothes stuff for running is difficult, I'm constantly having to consider what clothes are where - and it is easy to leave stuff at work. Often I leave jumpers or a coat, it's a bit crazy. Plus I rarely use a normal bag as I just use the running back pack which is ever so stylish. At least it's good cpw

maradesbois · 17/11/2015 23:36

I linked the wrong shirt, it's this one, boxy shape, longer at back and side slits. Really like it.

LinusLovesBretons · 18/11/2015 07:40

Morning!

Lovely shirt mara. I have said it before but everything I try at IM is just not right for me.

Those LK Bennett boots are gorgeous viva but I can imagine styling them can be tricky as you don't want to end up looking like Joseph and his Technicolour Coat. Wink

Love the colour of those brogues queenc! I do love pewter as a colour in general, also for decorating a home.

Still in my pj's, no clue what to wear

QueenCardi · 18/11/2015 08:09

I did link those boots viva although I would never wear them myself.
linus I am tempted to try the brogues on again as they're one of those things I've been thinking about.
Wearing skinnies with my toast top. I love it but it always feels weird for me as it's fairly patterned which the dc always comment on Hmm

shopafrolic · 18/11/2015 08:11

Morning all - night out with school mums last night. Wore Joseph leather trousers (fab now I've taken them up), Dune black laced heels, IM Etoile burgundy tartan shirt and GAP jacket (again). Burgundy lipstick and straightened hair (so not worth doing considering the gale force winds and rain last night). Had a lovely meal and lots of prosecco. All good.
Wearing Jimmies today with new KG biker boots and Lib's black sweatshirt. Dull but practical in this building site Grin

AmberNectarine · 18/11/2015 08:42

I need to get back to the gym - no time what with work lately! Work to home is 10 miles as well so I can't really fit that in - need to prioritise on my days off! Still making time for body weight exercise at home so I remain in reasonable shape but I miss running.

Harvey Nics have 35% off a lot of stuff with the Rewards app. Have sent DH a list of potential presents (Bella Freud jumper, Charlotte Olympia kitty flats, Givenchy clutch and Rossi heels) - let's hope he bites!

VivaVegas · 18/11/2015 10:00

Won't be getting the lovely boots unless massively reduced in the sales, I think they'd have to be worn with one colour, probably navy - not that I've been thinking about it much Smile
