Its that time of year again when our thoughts turn to winter woollies, Christmas jumpers and party dresses. Come and join our musings and purchasing, high end and high street, we love them all.

Fedup Matches stuck with their 10% off next order and refund. My email to the CEO resulted in lots of calls from various apologetic people but nothing else. The cash still hasn't hit my account......

What's everyone wearing today?

I wearing the wrong skinnies - too dark for the rest of it. Phoning it in, will do better tomorrow.

Queen I have a fabric jewellery box which I put necklaces in the bottom of and then there is a layer on top with spaces for earrings and bracelets. I don't have a lot of expensive items but have a couple of Gucci watches and a few Swarovski bits that I keep in their original boxes.

Feeling dull here - I've got the pre birthday fear. So bloody old tomorrow :(
Black skinnies, grey sweatshirt, black infinity scarf and black Marant Crisi boots. Need to get some make up on and get my happy face going.

I don't own any fine jewellery except my engagement ring. I keep some stuff in pouches and my cheap everyday stuff all sits on a little tray. I don't hang anything. I've got a Stackers jewellery box.

Outfit today, brown R&B heeled Chelsea boots, black opaques, navy midi Other Stories skirt, tobacco fine knit merino Gap sweater, beige Zara jacket. Z for Accessorise layered star gold necklace. Lots of the lippy blingy liked the other day.

Oh yes, OOTD. Plum ribbed turtle neck (Warehouse), black lace pencil skirt (Jaeger), black ghillie flats (new look) and black cross body bag (Balenciaga). With a z for accesorize gold medallion. And my plum whistles teddy coat.

OOTD is MiH high waisted jeans (love the superdark wash), Uniqlo heattech, grey Brunello Cucinelli cashmere jumper and Tod's loafers (sockless with sheepskin insoles= toasty feet)

I'm feeling pretty dull too, but nothing to do with gaining another year this week but the fact that I still keep waking up every few hours and now I'm back at work am seriously struggling. I have huge bags under my eyes and just feel grotty. If it doesn't improve by the end of the week am going to have to speak to my GP, can't carry on like this, especially as I have an hours drive to/from work which is now in the dark on the way home.
I love my MIH jeans too but S they are straight leg as opposed to skinny am struggling a little on the footwear to go with them. They don't look right with ankle boots on me. Linus & Marsha other than loafers what do you wear with them?

Thanks for all getting back to me about jewellery. I've never kept stuff in pouches as wouldn't be able to see what I've got and at the moment they are all in my jewellery box getting tangled. I just can't find a hanging device that I like.

I agree viva the jeans are more straight leg than skinny and that's why they don't work with my biker boots.

At the moment I wear them with black Tod's Gommino City loafers (can't find a link) and hopefully they will look good with the Tod's Chelsea boots DM bought me for my birthday.

I'm so , with my outnet order, just a simple sweatshirt, that I have several of and love wearing at home or casual day out in parks, they are the softest most flattering sweatshirts ever,but the one I got from outnet, is just so not it, its way thinner,and rubbish finishing all over, just when I was starting to have good luck with them, ,

My DF is here for a few days,and have prepared a coma inducing feast, fallowed by a marrons glacé taste test, yummy !

And you all recommend the good wife?thanks for that very enjoyable , and I thought I should return the favour and recommend to you the most gripping and addictive series I've seen yet, " fargo, seriously you get sucked into it, its pure genius, wasn't a fan of billy bob Thornton, but I'm a total convert now, plus I couldn't help but admire his beautiful fur coat, it looks vintage,and so out of place,but it kinda fits his character, I didn't have time to catch up on MN because I Was using every spare minute I had to finish the series,and now I feel empty!

My MV order arrived this morning - denim jacket a keeper but the blouse is huge so need to size down - hope they have it in stock as love it.

ootd has been a floral tea dress, opaques, grey ribbed boyfriend cardigan, big velvet dr marten boots and my long grey wool coat. i've been so cold travelling back up north. glad but not glad to be home, glad to be out of the cold at least

blair I hope you sized right down in that skirt. I have the same style in a different pattern from last year (which I've worn once, oops) and it's a 0 and still too big. Love that Maje dress.

I ordered some tuxedo trousers from Gap with the 40% off.

Came home to the SW boots. Am pondering. I like them and DH does too but feedback from OL friends has been mixed!

Also came home to my rockstud bag which has been repaired for the third time. Hopefully the last - I've barely used it, it's been off being fixed so much. Odd because my other rockstud stuff has been great!
