Ordered last week QueenC.... I really must ask on here before purchasing.

Ujjayi · 31/08/2015 13:05

Marsha Coggles stock Rag & Bone - might be worth a trawl through their site.

Georgina - Congratulations!

Will have a proper catch up later. Am supposed to be online school uniform and new door handle shopping but couldn't resist a sneaky peek at MNV.

BTW, probably late to the table on this one as not sure how long they've been available but Netflix has "Dior & I" (following the impossibly cool and relaxed Raf Simons prepping for haute couture show) and "Paul Smith: Gentleman Designer". Both worth watching for a fascinating insight into fashion design.

AmberNectarine · 31/08/2015 13:27

My wet weather footwear today is gunmetal glitter Jimmy Choo high tops. Worn with distressed blue skinnies and burgundy merino sweater, both Gap. Whistles burgundy biker, grey Gucci scarf and of course the Chanel on top.

KittyHello · 31/08/2015 14:10

Raining here too, off to the flicks with dc. Merino jumper on, Pistols on, hello autumn. Will also wear Gap trench, haven't worn it in ages.

onemightywizard · 31/08/2015 14:22

it looks like i'm going to be on a long term shopping ban until further notice. i may mostly lurk for a while and check out links. things are not going to plan here and it's something i have to sort out until i can think about myself. please bring lots of pretty links though, i do enjoy looking Smile

QueenofCardigans · 31/08/2015 14:35

dry its BRflash (on their website). Might be worth a call to customer services and say that rather than sending back and reordering at discount whether they can offer the discount. As a US company they're normally pretty good.
amber love the sound of your outfit but it sounds so wintery.
My ootd is sweatpants. Feeling utterly washed out. Another period after just 2 weeks. Whilst I'm pretty certain it's all perimenopause and fluctuating hormones im going to ask for a scan and thyroid tests just to rule out any underlying cause.

QueenofCardigans · 31/08/2015 14:35

one hope you're ok

AmberNectarine · 31/08/2015 14:46

That sounds grim QC - feel better soon! Agree that my outfit is very wintery - sadly necessary though, am in the car with my heated seat on!

Off to soft play and to M&S to buy a school dress for DD as her existing one is knackered. Having a boot dilemma - will post for opinions later!

Drywhitethanks · 31/08/2015 14:50

Amber I love burgundy and am looking forward to wearing my Gap burgundy merino jumper, sadly without your gorgeous biker though. Think mine will work under stone biker though.
QueenC I'll give them a call tomorrow, thanks

QueenofCardigans · 31/08/2015 15:43

dry the flash sale is only on till 10pm so try now.

I've just packed away my high summer stuff-short shorts, vest tops, summer dress etc. I've kept out some short sleeves and longer shorts for now

Karcheer · 31/08/2015 15:48

I have just shrunk my Prada jumper :(

Drywhitethanks · 31/08/2015 15:49

I've emailed them QueenC thanks

I'm feeling a lot of love for these unlike Styleguile whose ranting about them on her blog that's her off R and B Christmas card listGrin

And we are TRENDING Shock what does this mean waves to all the readers, I'm not that trendy though Sad

Drywhitethanks · 31/08/2015 15:51

Noooo Karcheer !

Had a mooch at the A/W Prada stuff in Selfridges. Lots of pastel pink and powder blue. Some lovely other pieces though. Do like Prada.

onemightywizard · 31/08/2015 15:54

i'm okay queenC just had some unexpected bills/breakages and i have to sort those out before anything can be spent on frivolous things for myself. it'll all come right eventually though.

I have been lusting after a biker jacket for ages, I had a nice black suede one but it got way too big for me, to the point it looked ridiculous and was drowning me so i passed it on to another MNetter. I've been on the hunt ever since but either i can't find one i like that's real leather or the one i like are so expensive that they are out of my price range

Karcheer · 31/08/2015 15:56

I know I'm so annoyed with myself, I threw it in the washing bag rather than the dry cleaning bag, and hurriedly put a wash on this morning... Urgh! It wouldn't fit a two year old now, so it's gone to the bin. :(

QueenofCardigans · 31/08/2015 15:57

What a weird rant she's had dry Confused. I like them too but haven't seen them anywhere although admittedly I don't look at mags.

Karcheer · 31/08/2015 15:57

one zara is normally good for leather jackets! I picked up a suede nor from mango a few weeks ago.

HappyGirlNow · 31/08/2015 16:04

I second Zara for leather jackets.. Appreciate the quality at Zara can be a bit hit and miss burn I have a few leather jackets from there and all lovely leather.

shopafrolic · 31/08/2015 16:59

One chin up and stick around.
Big plus points to Adidas who have authorised a return for my Superstars bought back in the Spring. Very impressed. Fingers crossed Matches come up with the goods too.
Dry Trending just means it is one of the busiest threads (post wise) at that time) - we used to be a fairly regular feature :)
Karcheer I know how gutted I was when DH shrunk my GAP merino sweater so God knows how you feel about losing your Prada - I will wear black in mourning :(

shopafrolic · 31/08/2015 17:01
