Was v quiet here yesterday. Hope everyone enjoyed the sun. We had a great day in Bournemouth. Couldn't get DD out of the sea. She was exhausted but the little devil still woke at 5.30am this morning I have a little bit of colour now which is nice.

Have name changed. It should be obvious who I am even to the lurkers but just retiring my other name for a while.

Went to a wedding yesterday and had such a great time. Really good and old friend of dh so knew lots of people. Child free so we could just be us as a couple. Great fun! It was also very similar to our own wedding. My main instruction to the waiting staff was that nobody was to have an empty glass at any time either during the champagne reception or the wedding breakfast. I think our friends must have done the same. I think I might have had about 7 glasses of champers before we sat down for the wedding breakfast because they just kept refilling the glass. .

I wore this Coast dress which is an oldie which I have worn twice before and love. The picture is of my accessories (except watch and hat). Wore with my Hermes diamond watch and pearl bracelet (present from dmil ages ago) which matched the dress, gorgeous matching hat. The diamond ring doesn't get much of an outing but love it so wearing it again today. I went with brown heels and then matched the bag to it. When I saw the groom he said "great bag, bet you spent ages in your dressing room choosing it". He knows me well. .

Dh looked so yummy in his tails. He was on great form, life and soul of the party. He is a great dancer (quite a sexy one too) so always attracts loads of people who want to dance with him. We had such a great time dancing. Someone told us to get a room. .

Hello all we arrived at our holiday home yesterday and are having a lovely time. The weather has turned a bit, had a massive storm last night, but DNs are still making us go in the pool which is where I'm headed. A lot of wine and cheese is being consumed!

shop i am thoroughly miserable as well, this nasty muggy oppresive heat we've got here today is making my joints swell and ache and has given me a horrible headache which won't shift . once it rains it will be better but i'm feeling pretty sorry for myself right now tbh.

really not feeling inspired fashion wise, everything in the shops is really not 'me' at all, lovely for people with the right colouring though but just not for me at all.

going to mil's tomorrow to do some sewing so hopefully my dress will be nearly finished and i can wear it soon which i'm looking forward to.

oh, and the door front on my washing machine is dmaged so i'm going to have to fork out for a new machine before it goes completely and causesme major problems. Not something i was expecting so had majorly disrupted my budgeting for the next few months but it can't be ignored or it might end up costing me more in the long run than it will to just buy a new machine in the first place.

I had an actual afternoon snooze today. I haven't done that for ages. Feel so wiped out right now though, which is probably why I never do.

I am lamenting the loss of summer days, had an idea that I could take off for one more summer fling, and drag Shop along but I can only do a swish enough one sans familia or a budget one with them so I guess I like being around them enough not to do it. and not keen on a budget one. Although might look into really short, close breaks if this rain persists too much.

Dry weather looks pants this week, hence my plans for above.

Shop have you tried Fever Tree tonic? Apparently it's the new great thing up here at least, means it hit London in 2012!!! nice, attractive packaging but can't really taste the difference.

I will never like Fever Tree as much as the shhh of Schweppes. And it's everywhere in London. A friend who likes gin and tonic as much as I do is in agreement. Out with the Fever T!

Dry you can buy my orange Monica off me if you want. I got a brand new one 6 months ago as plating had worn slightly so replaced within guarantee. Only worn once since.....

In terms of gin have had Hendricks today - only serve with Cucumber never lemon. Williams Chase also yummy.
We use Fevertree tonic but am not sure I can taste the difference although o love the botanicals one.
