Glad to report the skin is nearly back to normal, no more irritation and just a slight amount of peeling. Very Blush about not realising you had to build up to the higher strength so will look into the .025% one.

As a positive, the black sugar cleansing oil has come up trumps! It's been fantastic over the last few days and is an amazing first cleasner, really enjoy using it.

The Benton Snail Bee Essence is also lovely - unaffected skin is looking pretty well hydrated and in good condition. Overall, I'm really happy with nearly everything I've invested in and my mahoosive pile of samples!

lucysmam · 03/07/2015 21:29

Scrambled Shock your poor (left side of) face Sad I always take mine off to do well...anything really. Don't want to wreck my ring more than anything but it has a big stone & is a tad loose on my finger so swivels easily & would scratch.

Gertrude, am off to pm you now Smile

lucysmam · 03/07/2015 21:33

Glad you're enjoying the cleansing oil Cornwall, smells lush, doesn't it?Grin

GrinAndTonic · 03/07/2015 21:56

NoMore I bought the Mizon all in one gold starfish cream. I have very red tight skin and have found this to be fab. It's lovely going on and the tightness has gone.

lucysmam · 03/07/2015 22:11

scary mask thingy. From a brief look, I think they're meant to hold your face up to avoid wrinkles etc. Imagine the kids faces if we were parading round in those rather than sheet masks Grin

lucysmam · 03/07/2015 22:19

There's been some hoo-ha on reddit the other day & it appears that AB subreddit has been locked down for the time being Sad

I've managed to get into it through my messages where replies to threads I'd posted on would show up but it's vanished from 'my subreddits' since about an hour ago when I was mooching on there. No warning or anything so no idea if it'll be back up and running soon or will be an invite only thing or what Confused

lucysmam · 03/07/2015 22:55

hmmm, 'ponytail mask' brings up quite a variety of things on ebay...none of them the sheet masks for hair I saw in the article I linked the other day, or the Etude House ones I saw on Instagram this morning Confused Looks like they will have to come from Etude House rather than ebay - will have a look for them tomorrow.

Silverstreaks · 03/07/2015 23:14

Hey folks, I've been reading but haven't had anything new to report. I've been consistently using Mizon snail repair gel cream and Mizon white sleep mask along with an assortment of sheet masks. Favourite mask is The Face Shop Honey Mask.

My Missha Super Aqua Hydrating Toner is a thing of wonder. Amazing that a liquid can make your skin feel so supple after cleansing. I really like it.

I ordered some Super Aqua cream samples at the same time. I don't like it, it's heavy and skin draggy. Although the SA under eye gel patch was something I'd happily buy again. I quite like the Missha BB cream in shade 27, it feels nice, seems to last well and is very glowy. The 23 was very grey on me and the 31 too dark.

I can't remember who had a slow or bad experience with BeautyKoreaNet but mine has been anything but. All my packages have arrived and usually come with some cutesy Tony Moly goodies. My last package contained a two tubes of Mizon Snail gel cream (which I now can't imagine not using) because they discount for the double and Innisfree Green Tea Sleep Mask.

The Green Tea Sleep Mask is very jelly like and has tiny almost whitehead beads in it when you slather it on. Weird. But you only need to keep your finger on them for a moment and they melt. I've only used it two times but already love it. Minimal , delicate smell and feels lovely before bed and in the morning.

I'm awaiting COSRX Hyraluronic Acid Hydra Power Essence to add to the potions that already work and also some heavier duty Mizon snail cream - although I don't need it now as it is hot and gorgeous.

Re the skinfood black sugar cleansing oil - I have it and it removes makeup really easily, I like it. I am not so keen on the smell though.... It's like some kind of lemony detergent!! Very odd. Will keep at it though!

wickedfairy · 04/07/2015 08:27

Cosrx - what is best to buy? The whitehead power one and the bha one? My skin is dry but needs help to remove sf /blackheads from around the nose area.

I know a few people on this thread use them, do you recommend? Thanks!

lucysmam · 04/07/2015 09:00

wicked the blackhead power is the bha for sf's and blackheads. Funny how we all smell things differently, isn't it - I think the Black Sugar oil smells like lemon drizzle cake...yum Grin

lucysmam · 04/07/2015 09:18

I've just been mooching on Etude House - the ponytail mask pack I was eyeing up is out of stock Sad & it's nowhere to be found on ebay.

lucysmam · 04/07/2015 09:18

Also, reddit AB is back

lucysmam · 04/07/2015 09:21

I can't remember if I linked this or not Confused It's the routine order and ingredients sheet, along with a couple more useful diagrams. here.

ScrambledSmegs · 04/07/2015 10:16

Skin is definitely healing now. Spots are getting smaller and nothing new forming. Phew! I even used the Snail gel cream last night to help my skin heal, and it didn't break me out.

Off to PIL's this afternoon. Looking forward to relaxing in a garden and it actually getting cooler at night. I love the countryside Smile

XiCi · 04/07/2015 12:57

I gave the missha long term ampoule one last chance last night just to make sure it was that affecting my skin and yes, woke up with horribly congested pores. I'd had a bit of a break from it with no problems so I know it's down to the ampoule . I've got about 20 samples so will check with my mum to see if she wants them and if not will check here to see if anyone wants to try them. Based on my experience I think its prob better for dry skin.

Is there anyone NC20 who has had success finding a bb colour? I'm finding them very colour draining and grey toned. Need a dewy, yellow toned one for the summer

lucysmam · 04/07/2015 14:20

My Etude House 'My Castle' handcream has arrived...so cute Grin also a couple of samples of Fresh Cherry tint (lips?)

Benton samples have also arrived but are not what I ordered - I have the Aloe BHA toner and Aloe Propolis soothing gel. Should have been the snail bee essence and steam cream Sad .

I presume the bha toner would go where the clearasil pads do? I'll have a read about them tonight & then decide whether to use or not.

lucysmam · 04/07/2015 14:22

Actually, looking at the label on the toner it says 0.5% so not as much bha in there as other products. Not sure whether to try or not now.

lucysmam · 04/07/2015 15:24

ooh, the reviews are good!

ScrambledSmegs · 04/07/2015 16:08

I've seen people raving about the whole Benton range, lucysmam. They're full of active ingredients and not much filler. I think we may have bought from the same seller, I ordered Benton sample pots of snail bee essence and steam cream (2+2) am a bit worried that they've run out and are subbing in other Benton products. Not that the other stuff isn't good, but we want what we ordered, dangnamit!

lucysmam · 04/07/2015 16:16

They're what I ordered Scrambled, maybe they are subbing them Hmm I was looking forward to trying the essence and cream.

Reviews look good for what I do have though - not sure where the aloe gel would go since I'm happy with the snail gel (the aloe one has snail too though)

XiCi · 04/07/2015 16:23

The aloe gel makes a fabulous primer lucysmam

lucysmam · 04/07/2015 16:34

Does it? Would never have occurred to me to try it! I'll get it back out and try it tomorrow morning.

XiCi · 04/07/2015 16:39

A friend who's a make up artist told me about aloe vera gel as a primer and I have never looked back. It's better than the mac or smashbox I used to use.
