I HAVE to review this! Philips Lumea.

I read about the Lumea on here and ended up ordering the plus one.

Bit of background:

I am white with dark hair that is really quite coarse. I've struggled with body hair all my life and quite frankly just gave up the last few years because my regrowth is awful.

Even shaving my armpits I would have itchy stubble within 12-14 hours.

My bikini area I just left as a bush because the itching with shaving would be immediate and the regrowth came through within hours.

So I bought the Lumea a few weeks ago. Used it on my pits, facet, bikini area, legs.

I wasn't sure anything was happening first because I shaved, zapped and straight away the normal regrowth came through but I did my 2nd round 2 weeks later Sunday and my god. I would say 60-70% of my bikini line hair is gone. I vet had no itching.

Same with my underarms!
I didn't end up doing my legs Sunday (need to)

And I would say 90% of my lip hair is gone!!

It's absolutely amazing. I'm writing this because the hefty price really put me off but I'm so glad I got it and I'm only 2 weeks in with 2 treatments done!!

6 weeks on with smoothskin gold and I cannot recommend out highly enough
Got out direct from there website which meant I could pay in three installments. Already I am able to shave just once a week. This is unheard of, shaving would be daily, epilating weekly. Some hairless patches, no ingrown...love it Smile

you need dark hairs to absorb the llight energy which kills the root

and pale skin so that it doesnt absorb the light energy

that way you damage the hair root witout burning your skin!

Regarding the people asking about using it while pregnant, my friend called Philips to check if she could use hers while expecting and apparently there is no particular reason why you can't, they just haven't researched it on pregnant women so err on the side of caution with their advise.

Yey, I got up duffers about a month after buying one of these, before trying it, so it's been sat at home. I might have a go now. Having said that, I'm not quite as flexible at the moment.. Grin.

I bought the smoothskin gold after reading reviews on here. No faffing with white eyeliner and no waiting for it to be charged. It has a very long cable so you just have to be relatively near to a plug socket.

I've done 5 weeks worth so far (once a week) and I'm delighted with the results so far. I'd say that the hair is at least 60% reduced and I can go days without shaving my legs. Bikini line (which I only did once a week before swimming) is feeling much smoother and I have no ingrowing hairs which I am prone to in that area. Under arms I'm still shaving every other day but only because I can feel a bit of stubble (less than the usual amount), I can't actually see anything.

I have high hopes of being completely hair free by week 12 - which is 3 weeks before I go on holiday Grin

Ok I've gone for it. Spotted the new one was £260 on Amazon, my overtime dosh is paying for my new lumea. I started having laser in a clinic before I was pg. Loved how well it cleared the tash I was moving onto bikini and pits. I have high hopes for this bad boy.

I've just ordered mine. Any advice on facial use? Do you have to shave before use? Confused

This is amazing. Any updates from any of the epilators on here?

Got my Lumea a week ago and really have high hopes especially for my bikini area- I suffer with very bumpy skin with lots of ingrowing hairs which are sooooo embarrassing 🥴
I'm light skinned with dark hair so i'm praying it's going to work.
Is there anyone else that shares the same problem as mentioned above and used the Lumea with good results?
My fingers, toes & legs are crossed 🤞😊
