That's going to be interesting one Wink

Love those magenta heels queenc, gorgeous colour.

I saw the perfect Chanel bag for amber today: a jumbo classic flap but with gunmetal hardware and the leather wasn't lambskin or caviar but an embossed leather made to look like caviar. So the classic model toughened up.

I didn't dare take a picture but I'll see if I can find one on the internet once I get home.

maradesbois · 10/07/2015 14:04

Happy birthday for yesterday Stokey Cake. Your plans sounded great.

Love the sound of today's outfits. Sorry QueenC I rejected a white fine knit Duffy cardigan in favour of pale blue denim shrunken Levi's jacket over red Chinti & Parker maxi dress. The jacket is the oldest item in my wardrobe dating from 1994 my first year at uni! It's affectionately referred to as 'top dog' by my siblings after a character in prisoner cell block h which was on TV when we were young even though we didn't even watch it. Also have a white leather biker from back in the day that is known as 'Michael Jackson'. Won't ask if any of you name your clothes as think I could be alone with that one Blush Grin.

Lib hope you're ok and that work calms down a bit soon. Had missed that you couldn't make the mu, will be a shame not to see you but hopefully can meet for coffee or lunch sometime soon now that we're in the same city.

Can't wait for mu, hope it's sunny and can wear one of my new dresses.

OneLittleLady · 10/07/2015 14:15

that it is linus unfortunately, she is very unwell right now, with what, we don't know yet so for various reasons, she needs to move in here for a while. we both accept it's goign to be tough for us both, we are very different in so many ways. hopefully we can find a way to co exist and not get on each others nerves!

that bag sounds faaab and perfect for amber

i found a very cute grey vest top with flamingos printed on it in primark yesterday so just had to have it, wearing it right now with black slim cut trousers with tiny white dots on them. it's not the most exciting outfit but it's comfortable and I feel okay in it

AmberNectarine · 10/07/2015 16:06

I mostly wear hoodies

linus that sounds perfect, though I want the small size. I was just wondering if they did gunmetal hardware the other day!

QueenC those LKB shoes are the same colour as my favourite jimmy Choos. Surprisingly versatile shade.

Bought these Zara wedges today. They seem quite comfortable - will wear tonight and see.

Drywhiteplease · 10/07/2015 16:37

QueenC red flats HURRAY! May pop in and have a look.
Agree about the merino dress, always look a bit baggy on the bum I think. Not a good look.

OneLittleLady · 10/07/2015 16:38

ds's SAT results came in today, one national average and two above national averages! so so very proud of him Grin Grin

Drywhiteplease · 10/07/2015 16:42

Well done One

Mara I think you should wear Michael Jackson for the MU! bet you did have a teeny peek at Prisoner Cell Block H!

I prayed for sun, read the forecast and had faith......the PARASOL IS UP!! Yey, and I'm a bit pink under the St Tropez I'm Happy Grin

QueenCardigan · 10/07/2015 17:06

I usually shy away from coloured shoes but wonder if i should try a pair. I'd like to not buy any more heels though as I don't wear the ones I have enough so shoukd probably start off with some cheapie flats in case I decide I don't like coloured shoes.

QueenCardigan · 10/07/2015 17:09

Oh, and im currently in a bikini but am just resting from chasing the kids with the hose pipe. I feel dreadfully exposed but not too bad.

Fedupnagging · 10/07/2015 17:42

Gah, just lost a long post stoopid iPad

One very well done to your ds. Am sure you and your dsis will find a way to get along together.

Grin at Mara and her top dog and Michael Jackson.

Love those LKB shoes you linked Queen. Only size 8 left in stock now so guess everyone else loves them too.

Dry not looked at la redoute for years but I have a pair of black sandals that must be at least 7 years old from there and still going strong. Might have a little look over the weekend.

Need to get a wriggle on as have guests coming soon. Havnt decided what to wear yet except definitely these sandals.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 10/07/2015 18:24

It's sunny! And it's the weekend! Good times :)

I think I need to resign from MNV... I have ordered some Crocs. After suffering back pain due to my high arches, I have decided 28 is old enough for supportive shoes. I don't think they look too bad?!

Lib I was just looking at Allium B dresses. Do you wear yours a lot? Do you think they're good for RC? Any sizing advice? :)

fedup love those jewelled sandals.

One I would hate to live with either of my Dsises, and we get along well! You'll find a way though, just hide all of your clothes might be hard

QueenC I think you'd look great in cobalt or fuschia shoes.

Waves to all.

LinusDKD · 10/07/2015 19:05

Gah, I just can't find a picture of that Chanel bag. My eye was drawn to it immediately and if it had been in store when I bought my classic flap, I really would have had a hard time choosing between them.

queenc I love coloured shoes! Go on, try a pair!

Well done one jr! You must be so proud of him.

libertychick · 10/07/2015 19:40

Blair I have worn my Allium b dress several times. I sized up. I usually fit 12 in dresses especially when flared skirt but the 14 was perfect. The cotton is a bit thin, I've worn a short slip under when I wore it to work one day!

libertychick · 10/07/2015 20:34

Well done your DS one.

Blair i meant to say the dress feels very me so I think it is RC.

libertychick · 10/07/2015 20:39

Mara yes lunch / coffee sometime would be great.

Blair those crocs look fine. But who am I to judge, I am very happy with my Gabor wedges and then there is Amber's fitflops collection

OneLittleLady · 10/07/2015 20:47

thank you all, I am insanely proud of DS, he's done better than anyone predicted but I knew he'd do well Smile

blair they look fine, sometimes comfort just has to take priority, i've had to get rid of loads of my nicest high heels as i just can't wear them anymore, it's all comfy flats for me from here on in if i can get them on over the swelling

AmberNectarine · 10/07/2015 22:05

shhhhh lib

Am out in leather shorts, black vest, new wedges, sportmax blazer and valentino bag!

Drywhiteplease · 10/07/2015 22:10

I feel a question coming.....

Even though you are part of the elite fashionista inner circle that is MNV, are you prepared to admit to any sins against fashion?

Drywhiteplease · 10/07/2015 22:14

Me......

I have a black padded gilet from 1990s (think All Saints) that is just easy to throw on indoors.
A hideous purple fleece that is so cosy.
My "garden" slip on shoes if I ever go on about Crocs, remind me that just because these were bought in an RHS shop doesn't mean they're better
Many vests that are never seen.

NONE of this is ever seen by the public Grin

LinusDKD · 10/07/2015 22:17

Uggs, Birkenstock and white linen trousers...

And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 10/07/2015 22:33

Well, this is making me feel better about the Crocs purchase! I also own 2 fleeces, 1 uncool raincoat and a pair of FitFlops.

Thanks Lib, good to know about the potential transparency especially! :)

OneLittleLady · 10/07/2015 22:47

sins against fashion? everything really, i'm not stylish at all, i just wear what i love. i'll never be a fashionista Grin

AmberNectarine · 10/07/2015 22:49

I have FIVE pairs of Fit Flops. And a North Face jacket.

OneLittleLady · 10/07/2015 23:18

oh, yes, I have some UGGS. I am not even a little bit ashamed either, they are so good for me in winter, keep me warm without the need for a million pairs of thermal socks. At least they are proper UGGS though, not cheap primani rip offs

BrandyAlexander · 11/07/2015 07:45

Morning! We are having our annual center parcs weekend. believe me there is no fashion hereGrin Actually not too bad this year as weather was gorgeous yesterday and today. It's then meant to pour it down tomorrow so I have packed my new petit bateau raincoat. its about as "fashionable" as I am going to get tomorrow!

I also have uggs. But I only think of those as a crime against if they are really tatty and dirty or if they are old or the knock offs that don't fit properly! Oh and my favourite winter parka is a Jack Wolfskin ski jacket. I also have their fleeces. They're lovely and warm. Not sure whether that counts as a crime? Grin
