Asian and Korean skincare products seem to be a big thing right now - we are falling in love with quite a few things...

I meant bb cream! Blush

wickedfairy · 20/06/2015 19:02

Thanks lucysmam and LittleG, will pm you my address. Thank you, that is really kind of you!

FrugalFashionista · 20/06/2015 19:06

Thanks for the great suggestions!!!

Lucysmam I"m having a dense moment post-dinner, post hot bath, what is SWATAP? (thos masks look delicious btw!)

Ohwhat oh no, that sounds like a reaction to something, what have you been using on that area?

When July rolls around, I am going to replenish my sheet mask stash by ordering My Scheming mandelic acid sheet masks!

Rec's for the next thread:

Beautynet Korea
Missha.de

On eBay:
f2plus1 (Beautynet Koreas shop)
Blueprint21

All of the above have delivered within about 10days!!Smile

Products: Biore sunscreen
Mizon good night sleep mask, hyaluronic acid serum
Missha Aqua snail stuff

I have lots still in order, so will update as they arrive and have been tested!

Wombat - got my propolis serum and tried this morning, was lovely! Thanks for the recommendation Smile

bigbuttons · 20/06/2015 19:12

My beautynetkorea took a month to arrive. I won't use them again

NewsreaderChic · 20/06/2015 19:16

I'd go for the same eBay sellers as Wombat.

Top favs are:
Biore sunscreen
Mizon snail cream
Innisfree White wine sleep pack
Missha long name ampoule

My do not buy would be the Innisfree Apple cleansing oil

LittleG69 · 20/06/2015 19:23

I loved the tony moly avocado mask that someone on here recommended. Also like the Mizon good night sleep mask and the red wine jelly sleep mask (can't remember brand and not at home!)

lucysmam · 20/06/2015 19:37

Frugal, Snow White And The Asian Pear...I might have imagined the "asian" part in there though Hmm or abbreviated it wrongly, was half sorting the girls while typing on my phone laaaaazy parent Grin

lucysmam · 20/06/2015 19:43

I bought these earlier for the bathroom...am thinking I need them for all my skincare goodies too (they may have taken over my bedside drawers a lot) Grin

FrugalFashionista · 20/06/2015 19:49

Ooh gotcha Lucysmam You should just have said pale girl who lives in a desert! Wink

OP posts:
lucysmam · 20/06/2015 20:23

Grin probably

lucysmam · 20/06/2015 20:26

News, I forgot to have a sniff of the Innisfree cleansing oil - will root it out in the morning and see what it's like.

FrugalFashionista · 20/06/2015 20:33

We just had a discussion where to go for a vacation later this year: Dubai Seoul 3 - 1 Hmm

OP posts:
lucysmam · 20/06/2015 20:36

Seoul gets my vote too Frugal Grin

I've just read the article you linked earlier -was too noisy at softplay- I'm left wondering what a medical facial is but almost afraid to google!

FrugalFashionista · 20/06/2015 20:47

Found another article on Korean beauty that is quite deep and thoughtful for a beauty article (okay mabye 1mm deep but still) - here

Personally I am into the fun, kitschy and bargainous aspects of K-Beauty, less thrilled about surgery and other hardcore stuff. But it's easy to say now, who knows what I will think a few years down the line...

Spots have cleared up pretty quick, also glad there is hardly any flakiness that comes with a repairing spot, happily I think this is the A-sol! Have received the Tony Moly Galactomyces Essence which so far, is lovely. Smell isn't great but its only mild so don't mind too much.

Have ordered the Skin Food Black Sugar Cleansing Oil as I've seen others raving about it on here. Is that used before a cleanser or as one?

My 'star' buys so far:

Missha Magic Cushion #21
Mizon Goodnight White Sleeping Mask
My Beauty Diary Hyaluronic Acid Sheet Masks one going on in 5
Lioele Dollish Veil Vita in Purple
CosRx Returning A-sol

Not recommended:

Lioele Waterdrop Sleeping Pack
Tony Moly Pandas Dream White Cream
Skin Food Lettuce & Cucumber Watery Cream

Sellers:

Bitsandbobsbeauty.co.UK
F2plus1 (eBay)
Missha.ee
Sing-sing-girl (eBay)

lucysmam · 20/06/2015 21:07

Cornwall, the Black Sugar oil is a first cleanser - it breaks down the make up and sunscreen, you rinse with just water and then wash the rest away with a foaming cleanser or another type Smile

FrugalFashionista · 20/06/2015 21:15

Thanks for everyone's input re: favorite products, shops etc, Vol 3 is here!!!
so that I can go to bed early
Mark your place there!
