Nice jumpsuits - especially like the M&S one. Mine has spaghetti straps so wear a heavy duty strapless bra with it.

It's chilly here too so have given my harem pants their first outing - worn with a black vest and my denim & supply cotton boxy knit and a 'brightly coloured scarf'. I have to say, I love this outfit.

I think AR sent me a 25% off code the other day. I think I will head over there and have a look - there is usually something I like and I love the wide leg trousers I purchased a few months ago.

Wore a dress and bare legs to the office today for the first time this year! OK now but was quite chilly on the way in. BBQ in the garden for tea when I get home, the DC love it when 'daddy cooks with fire'! And makes me leave the office on time otherwise it's too late for them, too many long days at the moment.

Afternoon all. Still no period. Still stroppy. Still bloated. But I went shopping with the friend I did the style day with last week so we tried lots on. I only bought these shoes to replace last years navy ones that died. I've just realised that they're not leather sadly but at £20 I can live with that. I just love the front patent bit.

Afternoon all. Had a nice day wandering around Westfield. Nothing majorly took my fancy so only came away with a black v neck tee from Uniqlo for me. Picked up a few bits for kids and DH though. Was very tempted by a couple of bags in Aspinal and Michael Kors but behaving myself as I only bought a new one the other day.

Ok, here's what I tried on...

skirt. Utterly gorgeous colour and a lovely textured material but sadly the shape is no good. We worked out that just below knee length is good on me though.

trousers. Same colour and material as the skirt. I tried these to really push me out of my comfort zone and surprised myself by liking them. Sadly they werent a great fit on me otherwise I may have got them.

trousers. Awful. Too much bulk around my already ample arse.

dress in navy. Fitted well but too grown up/dressy for me.

Dry boo hiss. Fingers crossed for tomorrow. Loving all the Lanvin talk - pics please!

skirt. Loved the easiness of this but sadly looked wrong on me.

top. Love at first sight for this top. Tried it on despite it being 'me' and not pushing the boundaries and loved it. Not for £115 though. Got home and went onto toast website to register for sales alerts and its already on sale there for £55. Don't mind if I do!

Tried on another couple of skirts which I won't link as may possibly be on my sales list now.

It was a really great day just trying stuff on that I wouldn't normally. We're going to do it again in the autumn.

I was a 'maybe' but now I am a 'no' for the MU. That is the day we will be taking Dd to hand back her student house to the landlord. I could have just left Dh do it, but she wants to make a day of it and show us round some of her favourite places.

I have no S&B news. I have back on a lot of the weight I had lost and feel annoyed with myself. I need to get back to good habits and don't want to spend at the moment.
