Summer and holidays are coming, and the Voguettes will be more than ready!

All welcome and the more links the better but please don't mention House of Colour. Wink

Ah, you're all back, very quiet on here so assume everyone was enjoying the lovely long weekend.
QueenC I have this Navy Lace which is lovely, I bought the petite as the regular was too long but I'm only 5ft 3. I don't buy a lot in Next anymore but have had a couple of good buys this season.
Lovely dress Dry.
Had a big sort out of clothes at the weekend and have decided I need some black patent flat sandals to complete my Summer shoe wardrobe. Would like gigis but can't find any for less than about £80. If anyone knows any places to look, please can you let me know. Have looked at Amazon, Nordstrom, My Wardrobe and a few other random places! Matches and ASOS used to stock them but aren't at the moment. Alternatively if anyone sees anything similar/alternative please let me know.

QueenCardigan · 26/05/2015 17:57

You lot are amazing. Thank you. Just ordered the next one and one of the jaeger ones to try.

HappyGirlNow · 26/05/2015 21:04

Ooh I love that dress dry Grin

This arrived today - I love it!

Oh and I got these beauties for my holidays. Grin Unfortunately I bought them in John Lewis at lunchtime where they were almost £50 more! Robbers. I would take them back if I had time to order these before holidays but I don't.

libertychick · 26/05/2015 22:45

Gorgeous sunnies Happy. Boo at JL - might be worth ringing their CS though given their 'never undersold' policy?

Amber I hate trying to find wedding cover ups! This would be fabulous but £££ Smile.

Or a cropped fitted jacket in a bright block colour might work. For example Pink. Or this white Mango jacket?

HappyGirlNow · 27/05/2015 02:14

I have that white Mango jacket liberty - nice IRL

HappyGirlNow · 27/05/2015 06:23

Sorry liberty meant to say thanks for JL suggestion, I'll look into that.

maradesbois · 27/05/2015 13:34

Afternoon Voguettes,

Have decided my hiatus from MNV has gone on long enough! Missed you all lots but was fab to have a mini mu with the lovely Linus in Geneva a couple of weeks ago. Had some health issues going on so took a break but feeling much better.

Welcome to all the newbies. Can't join in with the bike chat but can hold my own re fast cars due to petrolhead dh. Actually pulled a muscle in my arse when 9 months pregnant just by sitting down in a Ferrari Daytona Blush.

Lib think you are organising next mu on 18/7? I'd love to come if possible but don't worry if too late.

Love to all. x

libertychick · 27/05/2015 13:45

Will add you to the MU list stall haven't booked the venue Blush

maradesbois · 27/05/2015 14:17

. Thank you, can't wait! Get the keys to our new London place next week so won't have a long trek for this one.

shopafrolic · 27/05/2015 15:10

Welcome back Mara - good to see you xx

libertychick · 27/05/2015 15:56

Looks like hard work Shop Smile settles back in comfy sweats and nibbles some cheese

Fedupnagging · 27/05/2015 16:24

Hey, welcome back Mara, we've missed you and your gorgeous swishy hair. Glad you are feeling better. Fingers crossed the move goes smoothly.

It's very quiet on here atm, are you all on your hols?

Fab sunnies Happy - did you contact JL like Lib suggested?

No fashion news here, still sitting on my hands purchase wise. Ootd is scruffy 3/4 trousers, sloppy cotton knit, very messy hair and no makeup Shock. Apart from walking the dog, have not ventured outside so not scared anyone off!!

That is some wedding Shop, didn't see any pictures of elderly relatives snoozing in a corner though, or a great aunt necking gin from the bottle or is that just my family? Grin.

HappyGirlNow · 27/05/2015 16:34

Hi fedup no I didn't. Had a look at their terms and they won't match online retailers prices. Fair enough I suppose but £55 is a lot of difference for sunglasses.. Hey ho, next time I'll try sunglasses on in-store then google for online price before I buy.

Only reason I did Google them is because my work friend who I was with wanted them too (unlikely to be wearing at same time) but JL only had one pair in stock. She's just bought them off that site as she doesn't go on holiday for a couple of weeks..

HappyGirlNow · 27/05/2015 16:37

shop nice wedding! Love Capri..

MarshaBrady · 27/05/2015 19:05

Hello gorgeous people.

Big wave to Mara brilliant to see you back.

Shop that bride's expression made me chuckle.

Hope everyone is having a lovely half term. I've been home so far and the weather has been very nice indeed.

MarshaBrady · 27/05/2015 20:12

I'm looking at summer holidays and easy on where just trying to decide what kind.

Do you prefer luxury type holiday or villa, or other? For the summer one.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 27/05/2015 21:21

Hello all, lovely to see you Mara :) hope all is going smoothly in preparation for your move.

Marsha I think I prefer luxury in city holidays, and villa for summer relaxation.

Off to watch HoC, getting hooked!

OP posts:
libertychick · 27/05/2015 21:55

Villa for me Marsha especially with DC. More space, kitchen, own pool etc (or maybe I haven't been on the right kind of luxury hotels Wink)

MarshaBrady · 27/05/2015 22:12

Thanks Lib, Blair yes think I could do villa with own pool.

MyVegasBaby · 27/05/2015 22:35

We always go to nice small self catering apartments for our summer break. That way we have a nice bar/restaurant to use when by the pool and for pre going out to dinner drinks, the DC always makes friends which is nice, and there is a fridge for wine and snacks - I never cook on holiday, my only chance to kick back and do nothing!

shopafrolic · 27/05/2015 22:43

Villa or lux hotel Marsha (I'm all about the 5* since back from GC) - clearly I can't afford it tho!

MarshaBrady · 27/05/2015 22:47

It did look flash Shop don't blame you!

Me too Myvegas, I like easy holidays.

Drywhiteplease · 27/05/2015 23:20

Evening all!
It's taken three Wine to recover from my trip to Oxford stitch DD....TS,Forever 21, etc.... To my shame I actually sat in one of the armchairs in Hollister Grin but didn't use my flashlight
Mara BIG hug.
Marsha self catering villa/boat/RV anytime. I can only do hotels for a weekend DH is an early bird, likes to be down for breakfast early, I have sense of humour failure. I like to eat breakfast and drinky coffee in my pjs in peace.
