What cheap, quick things do you do for a boost?

After what seems like months of virus' and general life I'm beginning to feel a bit haggard and knackered.

Everyone around me seems to be bounding with energy, looking groomed and polished while I just throw any old thing on and feel like I'm dragging myself through the day. To them I probably look how they look to me, I just don't feel it!

So, what are your best cheap, quick fixes in this situation? Anything from a vitamin/super food to make up to clothes to a certain nail polish colour to a must have item of clothing (ok, so that's not going to be cheap but adding it to my NEED list and swooning over it will give me a boost!) I know I need to take better care of myself but for now I'm planning on faking it until I make it!

Body - I fully exfoliate twice a week and moisturise after every bath/shower.

Feet - 5minutes of buffing with a scholl pedi twice a week followed by foot cream keeps my feet soft and smooth. A monthly shellac polish keeps my toes neat and sandal/bare feet ready.

Hands - I use hand cream daily and have a shellac polish every two weeks. I always feel better when my nails are done.

Hair - Regular cut and colours keep it neat and a weekly aussi moisture mask helps to keep it soft and shiny.

Face - A good eyebrow wax gives me an instant lift. I cleanse, tone and moisturise daily and use a hot cloth mask every time I have a bath.

Clothes - Have a good purge! If you wear it and it makes you feel frumpy get rid of it.

Acessories brighten the most plain outfits.

For a general sense of well being, I limit my alcohol intake; none if I'm being saintly and just one glass of red wine if it's been 'that' kind of day. I make sure I am in my PJs nice and early and get a really good night's sleep. It is the only thing that works for me me.

A multi-vitamin that contains iron.

I make sure I have a date in my diary to get my eyebrows/upper lip and my grey roots done once a month.

I get an 'express' pedi (faster and cheaper than full pedi) throughout the summer.

If I have a social thing coming up and I don't feel comfortable/happy in myself I get a blow-dry. It's a bit of a luxury, but if I feel really rubbish, I'll do it anyway...
