Evening!

Love those links queenc especially the Tod's bag, amber's dungarees (still want a pair) and the shirt you linked for me.

Funny you linked a Rails shirt as I wore one of mine yesterday with my Jimmies and Tod's loafers. And in the evening I wore my Aquazurra heels again just to watch television and when I looked in the mirror I thought I looked very French Vogue. Wink

blair welcome back! I haven't got access to your piccies and I did meet you IRL!

BlairWaldorfIsGettingMarried · 19/04/2015 19:06

Linus pm! Wink

Karbea I haven't forgotten you asked about a dress pic, I will try and do that sometime soon though all of the official pics are watermarked - I'll see if I have a plain one. :)

Karbea · 19/04/2015 19:51

blair welcome back! sounds like you had an amazing day! glad you got some you time. Honeymoon sounds very relaxing which is what it should be! I'd love to see your dress but if it's a major hassle don't worry, I'm just an old romantic and love weddings! Are you both back to work tmr?

QueenCardigan · 19/04/2015 21:11

Welcome back blair. I dont have access either. Glad you got the silk top and even more glad that it's not reduced by too much as I haven't worn it yet.

Fedupnagging · 19/04/2015 21:31

Welcome back Blair; sounds like you had a lovely honeymoon. Loving the fact you're off the plane and onto the internet ordering clothes!

Great links this morning Queen.

Novice so pleased the bling is back! Hope lunch went well.

Glad you had a good few days away too Mara. Food sounds delish.

BlairWaldorfIsGettingMarried · 19/04/2015 21:45

Karbea I'll find a way! And yes, both back to work tomorrow. It feels weird that the last time I saw a lot of my colleagues was at my wedding. We've got a new starter tomorrow, so she will probably wonder what on earth is going on with all the chat that I know there'll be!

fedup I know. Blush I have at least one parcel waiting for me at the office too. I feel like I haven't bought anything in ages! Going to be good and not buy anything full price now though I think.

bettykt · 19/04/2015 21:47

Welcome back Blair will take a look at the pics.

muddlingalongquitenicely · 19/04/2015 21:56

BrandyAlexander · 20/04/2015 09:04

Oooh hello AmberJ!Grin Tell us more about you, your lifestyle, your look. We don't bite...Wink

mazjacks · 20/04/2015 09:48

Morning ladies. Hope you all had a lovely weekend! We just went out shopping to get kids new trainers! DD chose glitter pink converse and DS ended up choosing navy toms!! (After all that debating which trainers to get him Smile) and chilled the rest of the time, overindulging on rubbish food! So diet starts today and I'm determined to lose over a stone by July (when we go on our family holiday with friends!) so I'm going to post my weight every week (sorry if boring) in the hope that having to tell ppl will spur me on! Instead of paying to go to a group Confused hope everyone doesn't mind? I just find it easier to lose weight when I know the weight loss, or gain!, is made public! And I really want to lose weight because I'm fed up with not being able to fit in some of my clothes from before that id love to wear again! xx

mazjacks · 20/04/2015 09:48

Oh and sorry for very long post Blush

AmberNectarine · 20/04/2015 10:14

That freaked me out for a moment - my surname (or at least the one I use at work) starts with a J! Welcome to the new Amber!

AmberNectarine · 20/04/2015 10:18

maz good luck with the weight loss - I post a full body bikini shot on Instagram (NOT the account linked to my neglected blog, I should add) every Monday as part of my fitness regime. Nothing like a bit of accountability to get me off my arse! It's also a nice way to look back and see how far I've come.

Having lunch with a friend today so better get out of this sweaty workout gear and into something civilised. Hard to gauge the temperature this early in the day at this time of year. No doubt I'll end up boiling/freezing.

LinusDKD · 20/04/2015 10:23

Welcome amberj!

Somebody buy this dress as I love it but really have nowhere to wear it.

mazjacks good luck with the weightloss! We'll support you!

shopafrolic · 20/04/2015 11:23

Love that dress Linus - must sit on hands for a few months now though
Maz loads of support here, and lots of success stories too....
Amberjay I know you're on Insta but do you use Pinterest?

mazj4cks · 20/04/2015 11:52

Thanks ladies, ok so here goes:-

maradesbois · 20/04/2015 12:45

Morning!

Welcome back Blair. Your wedding looked stunning and the dress was fit for a princess. Honeymoon sounds fab too. So glad you got the QueenC blue top, it looked really good against your colouring when you held it up at the MU.

Amberjay welcome! Yes, do tell us more about yourself and your style.

Mazjacks good luck with your health regime. Wanting to fit back into clothes in existing wardrobe is a great motivator for me too. Have over indulged over the holidays (with absolutely no regrets may I add!) but getting back on track from tomorrow. Tonight have half a bottle of champagne and half a bottle of red to finish over dinner with dh, last night of the hols!

Spending today doing ds's homework with him which is proving very laborious.

Trying not to shop for a bit as have plenty of summer stuff. Just need denim shorts and a couple of tanks and tees for forthcoming trip. Instead am going to concentrate on my health & fitness and get better at grooming. My terrible feet and terrible claws etc are not fit to see them light of day Smile.

maradesbois · 20/04/2015 12:52

Linus just saw your Maje dress link. Love it and almost clicked but remembered in time am not spending and don't have anywhere to wear it either. You temptress!

QueenCardigan · 20/04/2015 12:59

Hello ladies. Welcome amberj.

Like a lot of you I'm feeling fat at the moment. Despite doing 6:1 my weight has crept up over the past few months. Nothing drastic, just 3 or 4 lb but because it literally all goes round my tummy I find it really noticeable. It makes me feel old as it looks (and is) Middle aged spread. I think my portion sizes on non fast days have slowly got bigger so I'm back on my fitness pal to keep them in check. Couldn't do circuits today as waiting in for bed delivery and was hoping to do the shred but dd is at home as was coughing loads overnight. She's currently catching up on sleep in the car not fair.

bettykt · 20/04/2015 13:10

Welcome Amberjay

Like the rest of you I've still on my weight loss regime have lost about a stone since Christmas, slow and steady Grin just another 6 pounds to get me on targets for hols. Where I'll eat to my heart's content and put it all back on We'll all spur you on Mazjacks

Back to clothes, am liking the Boden Coatigans I ordered, have yours arrived Linus? They're quite a snug fit, I feel, and look as if they have the potential to bobble but are pretty reasonable so not too bothered. They're certainly doing the trick at the moment in this chilly in the mornings weather.

Have taken on some extra hours at work and am pondering some new clothes, defeats the object, I fancy some leopard print flats, Dry are you getting much wear from yours?

Stokey · 20/04/2015 13:11

Welcome AmberJ

& welcome back Blair - so glad everything went smoothly.

Haven't caught up properly but karbea you sound stressed about your holiday. When I went to Mexico, it was very casual - I think I bought a pair of wedges and Maxi dress that I never wore as everyone was just in beach wear (minus bikins) at night. So you may not need as much as you think. Hope that helps. For travelling I'd highly recommend Hush harems.

AmberNectarine · 20/04/2015 13:13

betty A stone?! You were looking very trim when I saw you in Nov so I can't imagine where you had it to lose it from!

Predictably am too hot - went for skinny dungarees over stripy crop top and white Stans. Am embracing the crop top trend while I have abs!
