For sunshine, Stans and pretty prints. Pale denim or white broderie.

Whatever you like for Spring, high st or designer.

Thank god for nursery! My son was in today so instead of house cleaning I chose to catch up on a few zzzz to get over this jetlag and ended up sleeping for 2 hours!! Shock I haven't had a good day up for ages! Grin I thought I'd be optimistic with the weather and my outfit today and am wearing a floral sleeveless jumpsuit with ballet pumps and denim jacket but I quickly realised I was freezing!!x

bettykt · 17/04/2015 13:19

Double ouch Karbea for the price of the mouth guard and your gog chewing your holiday sandals. Re: espadrilles, I'n not an espadrille person so not a great person to ask but I will add that the MD will fit you, I ordered some children's MD sandals and they fitted perfectly in length but were too narrow, I have wide feet.

Bernice like the sound of your OOTD especially the May Janes

Shop I'm not a fan of the sunnies but I'm pretty boring and just like conventional ones.

Fedup forgot to welcome you back from your hols Blush good luck with coaxing ds with revision, I feel for you and him, revising when it's warm outside is such a chore but obviously necessary Flowers

Mara glad the dinner party was a success, I'll take second dips on the crab and avocado salad, yum.

QueenC sorry you didn't get much sleep last night.

My OOTD black JCrew Pixies, black R&B ballet flats and charcoal IdeLF slouchy sweatshirt. Not sure I can do slouchy very well, it just looks big on me, even though it's an XS, thought they'd made a mistake with the sizing.

Cranagh · 17/04/2015 13:33

Lovely top, QueenC.

Not sure about the studs on those esapdrilles either, Karbea.

Dry, my DD (7 on Monday) loves Smiggle, these colouring books if you can find them locally. One of the presents she's asked for is Beado. Anything crafty usually goes down well.

The dinner party sounds great, Mara.

The lovely Amber gave me a heads up that lots of stock is half price at the Mercantile so ordered a Duffy jumper.

OOTD: Navy Ash Virgins, dusky pink American Vintage t shirt, Gap skinny jeans, dusky pink Chan Luu scarf, navy Comptoir leather jacket

BrandyAlexander · 17/04/2015 13:47

Thanks Thanks QueenC

Fedup I have a very slow digestive system. 3 course meals are murder for me! I can only cope by not having breakfast on the day, just a salad for lunch and a fruit snack. I am still stuffed and have only had a latte this morning. good luck with the revision!

Shop always easier to wake them up and put them straight into the right time zone. you feel awful and it means one really crappy day when they're tired but it's worth it. Make sure you really tire him out today with no nap then to bed on time and be ready to wake him up tomorrow morning.

Karbea am not a massive fan of the espadrilles.

dh and I both have day off today. Just spent all morning at the eye hospital with dc2 who have confirmed the opticians opinion that he has an astigmatism. thinking of taking the dcs up to London after lunch. ootd is desigual top with my gap high rise skinnies which I have finally been able to get back into them. They're quite drainpipe like. I still had to hoof 'em on but at least i can get them on now!

hope Marsha is having a good day!Grin

santamarianovella · 17/04/2015 13:58

mara love the sound of your dinner, bet the port was amazing

fedup its tough at that age, hope things get better,

shop didn't you do a style day with your colours? , love the flats,

linus Im probably the only girl in the world to say this ,I find SATC really dull, I rather watch the golden girls ,so much more fun! I like to think of myself as Dorothy! If I'm feeling depressed or sad I just watch a few lips on youtube, specially the condom scene Grin

karbea that is steep! I have the chanel espadrilles , took me forever to track them, they are very comfortable because they are lined in lamb skin from the inside and the soles are thick rubber, I washed them a few times, and they are still good,

cranagh I love that sweater!

Im wearing stella skirt and navy sweater i didn't wear tights, and I'm really freezing!! ! Weather is still cold, but i dont want to wear tights anymore! ,its almost end of april!! really need to shop for a few things, till it warms up , for no tights weather, I might go shopping tomorrow, ,we are supposed to see cinderella ,but dh said he will take dcs instead and now im worried he will shout "it's the king in the north" when RM appears on screen,, Blush.

QueenCardigan · 17/04/2015 14:35

bernice I kind of wish that id got the flat Mary Janes instead of the heels so that I could wear them during the day.

I've dug out last years Moroccan navy gladiators. I'd forgotten I have them. The skin on my heels is looking bad so I think I need to book in for my annual pedicure to get them sorted.

LinusDKD · 17/04/2015 14:57

cranagh great jumper! I had a look at that website, big mistake. I saw a bright yellow cashmere jumper I am now lusting after but I really really don't need

(((Hugs))) queenc!

santa I love Golden Girls, I should watch it again, it's been years decades

shopafrolic · 17/04/2015 15:25

Ouch Karbea I hate spending money on stuff like that
Mazjacks I feel more tired today then I did when we first got back. DS actually seems happier for a little extra sleep and has eaten his lunch at the usual time so I reckon we'll be ok
Cranagh great sweater and fab discount
Marsha surviving?
Novice know what you mean about jeans - I had to lie down to get my Goldsigns on today - too much holiday food
Santa I only ever did my colours and am guessing I am classic dramatic so will be interested to see
QueenC this stuff is awesome

shopafrolic · 17/04/2015 15:28

It's DH's birthday tomorrow. His main gift hasn't arrived so I just nipped to the shops to pick up this snifter glass as an interim gift.
Mara your dinner party sounded awesome.

Drywhiteplease · 17/04/2015 16:50

Snuck back to Ts to buy this shirt I bought it in blue and love it so much, such soft cotton. NOT for tall people though, arms are short to roll up and the body is just long enough for shorter ladies.

Fedup we can form a mini support group, my DS is also revising for GCSEs mostly on the PS4!!!!!! his life has just ended because I've booked tickets for Buckingham Palace tour on the weekend of a festival he wanted to go to, guess how popular I am this pm?

linus I watched all sex and the City box sets and films last summer, fantastic!

Cranagh I ended up buying loads of craft stuff and filling a bag for her.

LinusDKD · 17/04/2015 17:46

So DH and I reached a deal: I'll watch the new Hobbit film with him and he'll watch Dior and I with me.

Now all we need to do is decide which one to watch first. Wink

shopafrolic · 17/04/2015 17:51

Dior and I first and then you can fall asleep during the Hobbit surely?

LinusDKD · 17/04/2015 18:22

Lol shop! Not sure we can do two films in one night. The DC don't care whether we go to bed at 10pm or 2am.....

Fedupnagging · 17/04/2015 18:24

Queen think you need some Flowers and Wine. Hope things improve.

Karbea am going against the grain here and say I quite like the Dune espadrilles that Bernice linked. Shock at the cost of your retainer.

Betty it's not the weather that stopping ds3 revising, it's that sodding ps4 - confiscated until further notice. He's now not speaking to me Sad. Like the idea of a mini support group Dry , am assuming we will have plenty of Wine?! Feel somewhat comforted that you are not too popular either tonight!

Love that Duffy jumper Cranagh. Am seriously tempted by a couple of stripey dresses but then remembered I am on a spending ban for a while post holiday. Also need to shed a few lbs first too.

muddlingalongquitenicely · 17/04/2015 19:10

Evening everyone, not sure where this week has gone!
My dog has also chewed several pairs of my shoes luckily not expensive ones (mostly new look). I am trying to find a picture of the top DH bought me in Bicester as i need advice with wearing it but cant find a picture any where so will take a pic later and stick it on pin. Its a green striped top but the stripes are see through so not sure if a plain vest top might work underneath.
Currently browsing Tods website fo shoe ideas but need to look at 5:2 diet as i need to shift some weight and im struggling Sad

mazjacks · 17/04/2015 19:46

I lost 5 stone (prior babies) with the Rosemary Conley diet but I think the diet plan has all changed now! But I then put on 4 stone with baby number 1, then did the diet again and managed to lose 3&1/2. So it worked for me. x

LinusDKD · 17/04/2015 20:05

The Hobbit it is ...... Hmm

muddlingalongquitenicely · 17/04/2015 20:07

Thanks mazjacks they still do a magazine for rosemary conley diet i think i will have to keep an eye out. I previously lost 3 stone with slimming world but put 1.5 back on. I just cant seem to focus but dont want to go back to classes.
I have so many nice clothes from before in my wardrobe and seen lovely things out shopping. I just need to get my head in to gear i think.

shopafrolic · 17/04/2015 20:09

I can confirm mazjacks looks awesome

mazjacks · 17/04/2015 20:26

Thanks Hun, but I put on some more weight with baby number 2! So need to lose another stone really...but I've now realised no diet works with me unless I'm 100% focused. So I don't normally do alcohol for a couple of weeks, no cheat nights etc I actually was on the front of their mag. I did lose the 5stone quite quick tho...I think it was 6 1/2 mths in total, so at first it was tough I looked quite tired etc but then once it slowed down I started looking healthy. What's this 5:2 diet all about then? Smile

santamarianovella · 17/04/2015 20:27

Oh ,your dh will really enjoy dior and I linus, dh was doing some work on his iPad,and then he qiuckly closed it and began watching it,

dry Grin that's really funny, and I feel for your ds, reminded me of the one time bon jovi were a short train ride from the sleepy city we lived in while I was a teenager, and my dad didnt allow me to go to their concert cause it clashed with a work function he had, he didnt trust me enough to go alone with my friends.god! I still remember how hard I cried! He kept saying that bon jovi are in their 40s and im 17!!!,
But you and fedup shouldn't panic, teenagers are really smart, and can revise and understand things pretty quickly, I'm sure they will both do great,x

I just love how bright and cheery these flats are, marsha?

santamarianovella · 17/04/2015 20:29

shoes porn

QueenCardigan · 17/04/2015 20:32

Sadly the uniqlo top is going back. Love it with black crops and lng silver necklace but it's just the wrong shape for me as its too flared and flow-y and accentuates my widest part. That's the best thing this thread has done for me-taught me not to keep anything less than perfect. Beforehand I would have kept it as I love the colour but would have worn it once, felt wrong and relegated it to the back of the wardrobe.

shopafrolic · 17/04/2015 20:32

Linus is the 5:2 queen here I think? And Mara
I need to see the magazine pic :)
Where is everyone watching the Dior film? Netflix?

Drywhiteplease · 17/04/2015 20:35

Santa I'm going to see if the Queen would mind if I changed our date Smile ...... Seems tough to make him go to BPalace instead of his first music festival.
Linus at least you can try to spit The lovely Aiden Turner, though not looking at all lovely in the Hobbit.
