Welcome back shop.

4 hours and no wifi...... Was developping a twitch Grin

I WANT THE SUNSHINE BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

fedup I really love my bag. cant wait to put it with orange.

OneLittleLady · 14/04/2015 22:51

long day today. had my first acupuncture session at the new pain clinic service and it seems positive. the doctor is happy that i am responsive to it and is hopeful for a good response through further sessions. It was very odd, had some slight sensations in my arms that i haven't had for a long long time and my skin looks almost a healthy colour tonight in my hands. At this point I'd be happy with any sort of pain reduction, even what might be termed a low reduction of say, 5%. to me, that would be huge.

bought a red cotton and cashmere mix cardigan in uniqlo today to go with the black and grey ones i bought yesterday.

welcome home shop

drive safe ellis

LinusDKD · 15/04/2015 07:37

Morning!

ellis I hope you had a quiet road trip!

one I really hope accupuncture can give you some pain relief.

shop hope you're not too jetlagged and that DS slept well.

Another glorious day here. Still a bit chilly so I am wearing my Paul&Joe Sister coatigan (best buy ever!), TS skinnies, American Vintage ls tee and my new Tod's loafers.

I love coatigans so much I just ordered the Boden one that's on sale now. I thought it was too ££ for what it is full price but now it's heavily reduced. I really hope it's as nice IRL as I've had my eye on it for ages!

I also ordered another pair of chino shorts but this time one size smaller and in light blue.

LinusDKD · 15/04/2015 07:40

And urgh! I am on the third day of my home keratin treatment and I really want to wash my hair but I'll have to wait another day.

I usually wash my hair every other day so I am feeling really yukky now.

Stokey · 15/04/2015 08:15

Ooh Linus I was just looking at the Boden shorts - so size down do you think? I'm also toying with these silver pointy flats. I like their Maxi dress too but it's kind of outrageous charging £89 for something that is 95% viscose. Does someone on here have the ME + EM ruched one? I may hold out for that. Maybe I'll try a coatigan too, am inspired by your love Linus!

Weather continues to be amazing. We spent yesterday at the Olympic Park and I baked in off white jeans and yellow tee. We're going back to the other side of it today - I really recommned the whole space as a great day out for kids, two fantastic playgrounds as well as all the sporty stuff... and of course Westfield Grin. I may have to get my legs out

MarshaBrady · 15/04/2015 08:18

I'm in L'Agence city shorts, Rag & Bone navy t and Tory Burch teal jumper for first day at new agency. Feeling good about it, let's hope it lasts! Grin

Stokey · 15/04/2015 08:20

Good luck Marsha - your outfit sounds fab.

Ellisisland · 15/04/2015 08:48

We made it Grin not too bad only a couple of tantrums from DS and eldest DS aged 3 managed to sleep through everything. Even DH falling from his bed in the cabin on the ferry ! I found it hilarious, DH not so much Wink

It is chucking it down with rain here in Northern Ireland. Good job I packed my wellies

Mara I have those trainers that shop linked to and I LOVE them

Hope you are having a good holiday shop
Your outfit sounds great Marsha

Fedupnagging · 15/04/2015 09:19

Good luck today Marsha, love the sound of your outfit.

Ellis glad you arrived in one piece. Will keep fingers crossed that the sun makes an appearance.

Linus forgot to say the other day that I love the Todds. Will check out the coatigan too later. Do you have a link to your hair treatment - not heard of it before.

Stokey love the pointy flats and can definitely see you in them.

Am so glad the acupuncture is helping you a little One. Fingers crossed that you continue to improve.

As promised I have made more of an effort today - OOTD is AR blue wide legged trousers, off white knitted t (Nine West) and Boden navy cropped cardi. On my feet are a pair of sandals from Jones in the same shade as the trousers. Have straightened my hair and slapped on the make up!

Lib when are your exams - is it this week?

shopafrolic · 15/04/2015 09:40

Yay Marsha good luck. Enjoy!!! Am around all day if you need a chat on a coffee break Grin
Slept ok - getting up was a struggle. DS seems fine which is great.
Off to the park with school mums so the kids can play. And washing, lots of washing. Not sure on OOTD. Want to get the sun but may be cold in shorts.....
Sending Lib good revision vibes
Linus keratin treatment? Tell us more....
Have to say my eyelash treatment has lasted really well. Thanks Sleep for the recommendation. Will definitely do again.
I had the Me&em ruched maxi Stokey and loved it although it does bobble a bit so best to get in the sale.

QueenCardigan · 15/04/2015 10:24

Good luck marsha.

Lovely and sunny here but not sure it'll be the heatwave that was predicted. It's still chilly in the shade so will be sticking to cropped/rolled up jeans but I may put on my new silver saltwaters.

QueenCardigan · 15/04/2015 10:25

one ive had acupuncture for pregnancy spd pain and it was amazing. So glad you're getting some relief.

BrandyAlexander · 15/04/2015 10:32

Ooh just side tracking out of a conference call to wish Marsha a good day!

Gorgeous day! Am wearing Roland Mouret for Banana Republic hot pink dress with a damsel in a dress white bolero jacket and nude strappy sandals. I was out of bed at 7am, showered, dressed and changing nail varnish on toes to be out of the house by 7.25am. Was halfway up the road and then realised I had no jewelry. I feel naked.

An anecdote for you....I saw dm after work yesterday wearing an orange shift dress with the same jacket. Wearing watch, bangle, cocktail ring and necklace. First thing dm says "Why aren't you wearing any earrings?ShockShock". I say "I was in a hurry mum, dd was sick this morning all over my bed and I had to clean her up and look after her so didn't get the chance to put earrings on". In response dm makes this face Hmm and says "you really must make more of an effort dear.".

MarshaBrady · 15/04/2015 11:00

No way Novice! You don't need it

Still here - a record Grin. Feeling quite relaxed haven't bolted.

Waiting for meetings, nothing to do yet.

Thanks for good wishes!

Shop tried to text but phone is being funny again not sure why it does that,

Fedupnagging · 15/04/2015 11:43

Shock Novice at you going out without earrings Wink. Shock at your dm's comment.

Well done Marsha for hanging on in there.

I am sitting at the bottom of the garden having a coffee and it is so hot. I may need to change.

Am also debating what to wear to a 50th get together tonight. I've just been informed that it will be outside and the hot tub ready and waiting. I'm not keen on baring my bod in public but after a few glasses of fizz am quite likely to jump in!

OneLittleLady · 15/04/2015 12:03

hello all.lovely day here.sat in dps back garden having a coffee before i venture out for yet another appointment

feel a little....odd today.runny nose but no cold, shivers but no fever.is it possible its a response to yesterdays acpuncture?

ootd is grey uggs,40 denier black tights, pineapple print short skirt, charcoal v neck converse tee and black cotton mix cardi.im neither too hot nor too cold which is a good balance for me as im usually one or the other

BerniceBobsHerHair · 15/04/2015 12:15

Hi all, amazing weather.

Welcome back to the holidaying voguettes, including our international envoy Shop Grin. On that note, welcome to Mazjacks

And happy holidays to those away or about to go.

One glad you have a diagnosis and treatment plan.

Marsha have a good first day!

Novice Smile and Shock at your DM's comment.

Lib good luck with revising, we are here if you need a break.

Dry love your new bag. It also reminds me of the Anya H zip satchel. And when are you going to get married? buys into Dry being Jennifer Aniston

Cranagh happy anniversary. When is the big move? Love the Zara top you got, quite tempted. What is the sizing like?

I like those shoes Stokey I'm quite taken with these but not sure how they would look as a flat. I see you are wearing yellow - I love yellow but it was one of my 'below waist' colours when I did HOC. Was it for you? Wondering if I should rebel?

Phew, sorry for missing anyone out, it is hard work catching up Grin

Mara I might give 5:2 a go...I tried it a while ago but didn't keep it up for long. What do you eat on your fast day?

I feel a bit caught out by this weather and so not sure what to wear. My body isn't sandal / strappy tops ready. So wearing white jeans again with American Vintage jacksonville grey t and these shoes from a few years back - I still lust over the snake print pair

Ellisisland · 15/04/2015 13:39

Love that dress novice and GrinShock at your DM. My MIL comes out with lines like that. My favourite one went

MIL: you look so tired
Me: I just haven't put any make up on yet. I actually slept well
MIL: you can't have slept well at all! You look shocking. Are you I'll?
Me: no this is just what I look like without make up on
MIL: really?! I didn't realise make up could make THAT much difference!

It's a good job I love her really Grin

Stokey · 15/04/2015 13:47

Oh I like those ones too Bernice. Yes yellow is a bad colour for me according to HoC , good at 25% I think. The tee yesterday was very pale lemon though and one of the mums I met asked if I'd been on holiday so it must have worked! I've got a fluorescent yellow Cos jumper that I love but suspect it's completely wrong. I'm saving it for when I'm brown.

Ended up in stripy JCrew maxi skirt and mint green tee, with birkies, bliss.

What about summer dress and jacket over for tonight Fed up? Bikini underneath just in case.

Drywhiteplease · 15/04/2015 15:28

Oh I'm so late bloody work! Marsha hope it's going/went well.

Novice no earrings? Really Shock Grin

Bernice I keep planning secret weddings but the bloody paps keep finding out, and I keep getting "pregnant" which is so inconvenient even in LA Grin Wink

Very jealous of your heatwave a. Over cast today. Mild enough not to wear socks and bare ankles.
Ootd....fav FCUK lace shell top
Fitted black cardigan
BR cropped Sloane fit trousers in cel has only taken me a year to get round to shortening them Shock
Animal print ballet flats

Drywhiteplease · 15/04/2015 15:29

Cel = camel Hmm

LinusDKD · 15/04/2015 15:33

marsha glad to hear you haven't run away yet. Wink

stokey I will let you know when I have the smaller size if sizing down is a good idea but the navy pair I've got just feels a bit big, especially as they sit on the hips.

Will try and find a link to the keratin treatment but it's the one everyone raves about on S&B and you get on Amazon.

LinusDKD · 15/04/2015 15:38

keratin treatment

Not sure it works on very curly hair and it's only the second time I used it (1 tub for 2 uses on my shoulderlength hair) but it just keeps my frizz under control.

OneLittleLady · 15/04/2015 15:57

been for a rummage in some of the charity shops and got a puredkny pink silk shirt dress and a paul smith floral dress for £25 in total.very pleased Grin Grin

Cranagh · 15/04/2015 16:21

Glad it is going well so far, Marsha!

Good finds, One, I love both those labels.

Bernice the Zara top arrived this morning and I am wearing it now. I got a medium and I am a 12. Lovely and not a bad price.

Enjoy the party, Fedup!
