Good luck my sweet xxx

AmberNectarine · 13/04/2015 21:10

Ah, you can't beat a bit of pineapple print one - I am currently wearing this crop top as I have just done a workout (and obviously I look exactly like that woman).

Home from CP and by some utter miracle half a kilo lighter - for some demented reason I decided to do a spin class yesterday, because obviously an extra 15km of cycling on the spot is the perfect addition to what is essentially a cycling holiday. I was feeling the burn by the end of the day, especially as I was towing hefty DD in a trailer, or her 'carriage like Cinderella' - what that makes me I don't know!

Did some purchasing before I went away - will link tomorrow. Need a shower!

Drywhiteplease · 13/04/2015 21:18

Have a safe trip Shop Smile

Amber you're crazy !

Drywhiteplease · 13/04/2015 21:23

Evening Voguettes,

Congratulations on your anniversary Cranagh Flowers [the still-lacking champagne emoticon]. Shock at 15 years, you must have been a young bride! Love that zara top.

Marsha day trip to Brighton sounds fab despite the cold.

Shop safe trip home and glad you had great hols. Warm welcome to Maz too.

One great shopping, enjoy London.

Lib good luck.

Linus love, love your tod's (and the rest of that amazing haul). Btw as you are my 5:2 motivation can you let me know how you maintain or do you just carry on doing it? I've been at it since end Oct apart from holidays and have lost about 8kg without another 5 or so to go to get where I want to be. Am not finding it difficult and like the discipline, just wondering if you eventually stop or switch to 6:1 or otherwise.

Fedup welcome home!

Spent today helping dsis wallpaper. Not my forte at all, was just the assistant. Ootd was old gap oversized white shirt, faded black ts leighs and battered old blue converse (Vogued-up as accessorised with Birkin as still haven't changed bag from holidays). Nice to spend non-dc time together despite it involving manual labour.

Watched a really interesting film with Marion Cotillard last night, 2 days 1 night. Quite harrowing social realism stuff but her performance was amazing, she is such an amazing actress.

It's the start of the English asparagus season, had some tonight, yum. Officially Spring!

QueenCardigan · 13/04/2015 22:03

mara I love asparagus. We're doing a dinner party next weekend so may get some for the starter.
canagh love that zara top
dry great bag. I love fossil bags. As someone said it's similar to the Tom ford thatnjennifer Aniston always carries.

Drywhiteplease · 13/04/2015 23:11

so it is....its ME!!!!

Drywhiteplease · 13/04/2015 23:13

And that's Dh on the left Grin

MarshaBrady · 14/04/2015 09:00

Love your haircut dry! Wink

mara as I am still trying to lose a bit of weight (the last few kilos are very difficult) I am still on the 5:2 but once I reach my target weight I'll do 6:1 as I don't really mind it.

DSis stopped fasting alltogether when she was happy with ther weight and hasn't gained it back but I don't think that'll work for me.

Well done on your weight loss btw!

QueenCardigan · 14/04/2015 10:24

mara I'm back on 5:2 for the next couple of weeks as I can't dont do it in the school hols and I've eaten/drunk a lot and have a couple of 4 pounds to lose. I had just been doing 6:1 as it's quite hard to maintain 2 days of fasting forever. I just try and be mindful of what I eat on the other days.

Ellisisland · 14/04/2015 11:00

mara I watched that film the other day. Love Marion think she is such a good actress and so beautiful.

QueenC do you get good results with 5:2 ? I have heard good things but would be worried I would binge on the 5 days ! Mind you one side effect of the sickness bug I had last week is that I am half stone lighter Hmm

Am packing up for our holiday to Ireland today. Over 9 hours driving ahead of us tonight with 2 kids including a baby who hates the car. Please think positive thoughts !

maradesbois · 14/04/2015 12:57

QueenC your maintenance plan sounds good. I only do it in term time anyway but like Linus don't think stopping completely would work for me.

Ellis good luck, that's a long trip.

shopafrolic · 14/04/2015 16:51

Rushes in, dumps bags, makes cup of tea. Sits and sulks.
Back home - rubbish. Let the washing commence. Back later. x

Fedupnagging · 14/04/2015 17:21

Ellis eek, that sounds like a nightmare of a journey - good luck and enjoy your hols.

Welcome back Shop - at least the sun is shining today so that must take the edge off a bit?

Dry I have the same fossil bag in orange (might be the size down) and it's such a great style. I used it everyday whilst I was on holiday so have put it away for a couple of weeks so I don't get fed up with it.

Ootd is very retro - an old stripey t shirt dress with orange havs; however the window cleaner turned up and as the dress is a bit short, I hoiked on a pair of black leggings and not bothered to take them off. Promise to try harder tomorrow Grin. In my defence, I've been pottering about the house so not actually gone out in public!

MarshaBrady · 14/04/2015 18:13

Fedup you're excused Grin

Ellis good luck. Ds2 was very bad in car seats.

Shop welcome back, look at the weather!

shopafrolic · 14/04/2015 18:41

I know Marsha - I brought the sun back for you all :) Nice to still have a tee on.
Ellis safe travels. DS was overjoyed to sit back in his car seat when we left the airport - will be shortlived I'm sure
Blair hope you're having a fabulous honeymoon Wink

MarshaBrady · 14/04/2015 19:00

Sure did! How was the flight? How's the jet lag- bit early to tell maybe.

shopafrolic · 14/04/2015 19:39

Bit early to know. Prosecco is helping. Defo tired. Not sure what to do with DS. Will bath him soon and try bed....

muddlingalongquitenicely · 14/04/2015 21:00

Evening everyone well my wardrobe today was not ideal Grin set off this morning and it was cold misty and miserable so wore a fine knit dress with opaques then left work to glorious sunshine and a sweltering bus journey home which still had its heating on!

shopafrolic · 14/04/2015 21:12

Saw a woman wearing these fab white trainers on the and today. Thought you'd suit them Marsha.

shopafrolic · 14/04/2015 21:13

Plane not and

MarshaBrady · 14/04/2015 21:25

Love those Shop, right at top of my list now.

Muddling it was chilly then so warm plus heating yikes
