That is a damn good find. How do you think it would look on someone 5 foot 1? The top half looks long.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 03/04/2015 20:34

It's nice - would look bloody awful on me though, sadly.

RonaldMcDonald · 03/04/2015 20:35

that dress, whilst lovely and perhaps an immediate purchase is...I suggest, a PERFECT HOLIDAY dress

MrsCampbellBlack · 03/04/2015 20:39

I am 5 foot and apple shaped and it works well on me. Highlights bottom and legs and disguises slightly problematic tummy area.

Sizing generous. Enjoy10 may get 10% off.

Rebeccasmother · 03/04/2015 20:50

Based on this thread yesterday, i went and bought this dress today Grin it looks great. I'm 5FT

denim dress

lurkingaround · 03/04/2015 21:13

Nice dress MrsCB. Wouldn't suit me I fear.

Really like the jackay. Perfect for summer. 10-12 a medium?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 03/04/2015 21:16

Jacket is nice too - would also look bloody awful on me. I need cropped.

lurkingaround · 03/04/2015 21:23

I like the Hush jacket. They did the same last year I think. Didn't order it. Might have to scratch that itch this year.

thenightsky · 03/04/2015 21:30

lurking that is indeed a fab jacket.

HiawathaDidntBotherTooMuch · 03/04/2015 22:43

Thank you for the link to the red herring dress. I have ordered it. I really hope it fits as it would be the kind of dress I would get good mileage out of Smile

I am toying over that hush dress too Smile

ElizabethHoover · 04/04/2015 05:23

Those collarless jackets make me look like the wife of the Tory candidate for west Berkshire

Collarless is my best collar.
Yy noddy, Hush jacket thing only to be worn casually. I'd feel all trussed up worn too smart. you've made me look at it again and my love may have lessened...

noddyholder · 04/04/2015 10:16

I think its all the blazers in ice cream colours Hideous imo I have found very few that work! Plain and dark best lol Prefer coats

imip · 04/04/2015 10:32

I've dipped in and out of this thread, but am having trouble following it as I'm on holidays in oz Grin

I've bought this dress and it is a brill school run dress. I've been wearing it here and it is really comfortable. When chilly, I've put it on with black leggings and black nikes, black flip flops when hit.

I've had the cos dress first linked with the v-back and it is similar to that. However, that beautiful cos dress is buttoned at the back. For the cos dress to look decent on me (I'm blessed with an apple shape AND a big bum!), and it's a smaller size. So I've broken a button hole bending over and moving in the dress Blush

The zip is a blessing and a curse. I've just finished breast feeding dd 3yo, and she misses it and is obsessed with the access!

ElizabethHoover · 04/04/2015 10:52

Blonde at work looks amazing in ice cream colours. I am good in pale ice blue and pink but not that fleshy kind of pink

OP posts:
noddyholder · 04/04/2015 11:01

I don't suit those colours thats probably it and I like structure in a jacket. Lots of blondes like those colours

noddyholder · 04/04/2015 11:07

Atterley Rd has some nice sale things atm

brokencrayons · 04/04/2015 13:27

very happy my children get picked up in a taxi! how can you be bothered with the worry of what to wear on a school run?? Is it a competition or something?

Greengardenpixie · 04/04/2015 13:31

Nobody bothers at our school gate Confused
I like nice clothes so i bother but im not worried what i wear to pick my kids up from school tbh. Everyone here is very 'ordinary'

noddyholder · 04/04/2015 15:57

No one ever bothered at my ds school either but may be a new thing as he is 20!

BallroomWithNoBalls · 04/04/2015 15:58

I love thatHush jacket, it's on my wishlist but only when reduced (and I'm not a pregnant whale).

Not keen on the Hush dress as it looks very flimsy - this one says it's double fabric for the skirt bit and looks a bit more substantial, it's the only other Hush lust I have atm.
