It's March. Spring is in the air. We are looking forward to losing layers and baring ankles.

This is the volume of the hen do and wedding. Will queen manage to get shop to wear penis boppers Grin. And will we all shed a tear when the beautiful blair gets married.

Following on from here

Friends for dinner. Too drunk to catch up. Happy holidays Lib
You've all forgotten my DH is really quite tight so no more spending money for me (I've already been spoilt)
Back tomorrow x

AmberNectarine · 13/03/2015 06:34

QueenC if you remember the old wise and avid threads which sort of gave birth to MNV, a few of us are meeting up down in Bristol tonight - although not Marsha , but I will get to see the lovely Hopefully.

Sadly I definitely won't make it on Saturday now as we really do have to attend a party - will be sorry to miss you all, but it's probably best for my liver! I hope you'll all have a really fun time and that you give Blair a good send off into married life!

Right, better sort my life out and get packing!

MarshaBrady · 13/03/2015 07:20

Amber I'm really sad to miss you all this time. Bet you'll have a blast. What are you going to wear?

Although ds is ill, was bad last night so I think I'm home all day to look after him.

Fedupnagging · 13/03/2015 07:34

Have just realised I have no red in my wardrobe - and supposed to be wearing something red for Red Nose Day, oops! May need to re visit 'red' as used to wear it a lot.

I have 2 episodes left of HOC s3 which I hope to watch tonight. Am loving it and agree with Marsha about Claire. Don't want to say anymore just in case I spoil it for everyone else.

Blair so pleased dp has booked your honeymoon; I think you will both need that time to kick back and relax after the hectic buildup to your 'big day'

I think I would probably buy really good high end bags and jewellery if my clothing budget was different; clothes, I would still buy whatever suited me but would start in NAP/selfridges obv!

Have a good day everyone.

QueenCardigan · 13/03/2015 07:58

amber have a fab time in Bristol. Let me know where you go. I rarely go out in the city centre so won't bother trying to recommend anywhere Grin.

Karbea · 13/03/2015 09:17

Morning all,

blair how exciting about your honeymoon. I think I prefer the smaller earrings.

I not sure I'd change my spending either really, I have some high end this and some cheapy stuff, that I love equally. I haven't even got anything from a charity shop, although I know you can pick up some amazing things.

My painter starts today, all the building work is complete now. So I won't be boring anyone with paint questions anymore for awhile.

I'm having my highlights down again today, I'm thinking of going a bit darker again. They are also cutting my hair today, first time since July!!!

MarshaBrady · 13/03/2015 09:17

Fedup I know, let me know what you think of the ending.

I'm home all day, haven't done this for ages. Might see if I can get him to come out for something to eat, as kitchen guys still going strong.

santamarianovella · 13/03/2015 09:33

to all French wannabes

shopafrolic · 13/03/2015 09:40

Any size 8 feet out there? nice Sam Edelmans

shopafrolic · 13/03/2015 09:55

Love that Santa

MarshaBrady · 13/03/2015 09:57

Really like these Marant cropped boyfriends. Tiny size only though

santamarianovella · 13/03/2015 10:06

marsha hope ds gets better. I've been working from home for the last week, and its so quiet it scares me sometimes Grin, I need some background sound.

I've been looking at McQueen exhibition, and I hope I get to visit, it looks stunning, Kate moss looks incredible.

I can't stop thinking about a Jura coffee machine,Ive seen on my teaspoon shopping trip, its glorious, all sleek with screen touch, will look great in my kitchens but the EU plug thing bothers me, don't want to fork out that much and leave it behind, when we go back home.

karbea, sounds great, how does it look like now? Do you like the new door to your living room?

MarshaBrady · 13/03/2015 10:22

Santa at Jura. I saw an amazing one in SCP, different brand I think can't remember. It was a crazy price so admired from afar. One day!

I'm not used to it at all, am roaming sites for something to buy. Been a while for that too.

Karbea · 13/03/2015 10:32

santa moving the door has made such a big difference, the room just feels so much more spacious and the flow will be much better, when the furniture goes in. The hallway hasn't really been effected by the light, I think we were all worrying about nothing.

MarshaBrady · 13/03/2015 10:40

VB's makeup! DM link

Ujjayi · 13/03/2015 11:40

Woah! Marsha - what was she thinking??! Utterly bizarre. The way she does that slouchy model stance too...what is that about? She is striving for nonchalant elegance but it looks so contrived. She seems so completely ill at ease with the world. And as I sit here pattern cutting and sketching & desperate to make a breakthrough...don't even get me started on her alleged design credentials Hmm.

OneLittleLady · 13/03/2015 11:50

morning all

going to a gig tonight and have no clue what to wear apart from my dr martens. I seen to have lost my navy denim pencil skirt which i was going to wear, can't find it anywhere so have to think of something else

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 13/03/2015 11:51

Oh my goodness... she looks like a corpse. really sorry and so unhappy, like she is about to cry. The poor thing! The DM must have been rubbing their hands together with glee when they got those pics in.

Thanks for earring feedback... I think I'll order the small ones. I do feel a lot better now the trip is booked, making lists is my thing so I can't wait to start planning what to take .

I also ordered matching personalised dressing gowns for me and the BMs (they don't know but I don't think they'll see this) to get ready in and for the spa the next day. They came yesterday and look fantastic Grin

Exciting about the house Karbea, you must be relieved that the decision making is over and you can just look forward to it being finished. Hope the kitchen is going smoothly as well Marsha.

People that are coming tomorrow, what are you wearing? It's not going to be warm so I was thinking jeans and pistols, am I being a chicken?

Karbea · 13/03/2015 12:09

Oh dear oh dear what was VB thinking? Even her eyebrows look unruly! I don't think Kate Moss should have been wearing that dress either.

Ujjayi · 13/03/2015 13:24

One have fun at the gig. Has your pencil skirt turned up yet?

Blair - love the sound of your matching dressing gowns! Be sure to get some photos.

Karbea - almost there with the decorating then? Relax and enjoy it now. It is such a lovely feeling when you can see it finally coming together.

Marsha how's DS doing? hope he is on the mend.

I'm having a bit of a moment. I've had two orders returned this week to retailers without the courier even trying to deliver them. Instead he has held on to them for a few days then sent them back. I have complained but am so worn down with it all. Just contacted Boden as I need to order from them and warned them about what is happening. They have arranged for all my orders to be delivered via Royal Mail so at least that gets around the issue with them. I need to draft a letter to the CEO of the courier company but I just don't have the emotional energy. Feeling quite defeated by it all really.

On top of that, I've been chasing a fabric order for two weeks which finally arrived today and was completely wrong. I feel like I've achieved nothing this week at all.

Soooooo looking forward to the MU tomorrow - and I promise I will not moan or complain! Have Prosecco Be Happy!

OneLittleLady · 13/03/2015 13:27

oh ujjayi it sounds awful. Send that letter though, don't let him get away with 'punishing' you for complaining about him. He is the one in the wrong, not you.

No, pencil skit hasn't turned up so I settled on my purple tartan skirt, black Jay and silent bob as C3PO and R2D2 tee and a long black cardi. will pair with dr martens in black velvet, black hoodie and black leather bag

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 13/03/2015 13:36

Oh my god Ujj that's terrible. What does your DH say? Was this the company with the female CEO that you already contacted, or am I getting muddled? Don't worry, we will ply you with prosecco tomorrow.

Outfit sounds fab One, hope you have a great time.

BerniceBobsHerHair · 13/03/2015 14:08

Shop great news about DH's win on the premium bonds.

Marsha I love the vintage look too on others. Hope DS is better soon.

Amber don't really see that green dress as you, seems a bit conservative. Loving the Amber and One love in. I also had a look at the jewellery you mentioned, v pretty.

Mara how was looking after a 6 month old you brave woman

Blair good news about the honeymoon being booked. I like these earrings better but think I am opposite to everyone else. I wasn't able to open your dress link though. Love the sound of matching dressing gowns.

One enjoy your evening, nice outfit.

Ujj really sorry to hear the delivery man issue is getting even more challenging. He sounds like a total creep tbh. I hope you can get it nipped in the bud. Could DH write the letter if it is understandably wearing you down? I would try to speak to someone over the phone too if possible.

Aargh what was VB thinking? I don't really think she is a naturally stylish woman. Always a bit too 'try hard'. I liked the pics of Kate Moss, she always looks like she is having fun and she appears to be letting herself age naturally.

I like hearing what everyone else is wearing. My outfit today is black tapered trousers, navy Ines de la Fressange shirt from Uniqlo (Shop I think you might have the same one?) and navy stans. I have been wearing stans or superstars most days.

QueenCardigan · 13/03/2015 14:24

VB looks bloody awful. I'm not sure what she's done to herself but it looks like she's had footballs stuck back on her chest.
ujj it's disgusting that he's behaving that way and his manager really needs to know about it.
blair I've had to rethink my outfit for tomorrow as my navy boots rubbed slighlty last night so deginitely not wearing them. I had been planning on my blazer but it seems so cold now that I'll be on one of my winter coats. I'll decide which bag I want and work from there.

Cranagh · 13/03/2015 14:47

Ujjayi, he should be fired.

I prefer the small earrings, Blair.

Have fun, Amber!

No shopping here. I want a Fitbit. Anyone have one? Are they good?
