It's March. Spring is in the air. We are looking forward to losing layers and baring ankles.

This is the volume of the hen do and wedding. Will queen manage to get shop to wear penis boppers Grin. And will we all shed a tear when the beautiful blair gets married.

Had a quick read back..

Thanks for all the nice comments about my assignment. I am on the wine now as a reward. Exams next - gulp! Expect the hysteria levels to rise over the coming weeks...

Topaz YY for wearing your best look. I'm debating kicking jeans to touch forever (except for black skinnies / slim leg)

I picked these sandals up from R&B today, love them!

And I am very excited about my hols next week - have my eye on a few things in Zara and the combination of Spanish prices plus the current exchange rate will make them half price obvs I am very excited about a week of quality family time too Grin

shopafrolic · 11/03/2015 21:58

Any good? Like the fact it is shaped like my khaki Whistles one....

libertychick · 11/03/2015 21:59

I could see Bernice in these

libertychick · 11/03/2015 22:02

CdC one looks good Shop - versatile too for later in the summer.

shopafrolic · 11/03/2015 22:20

Lib any tips on Comptoir sizing? I don't know whether to order a 12 or a 14.....

libertychick · 11/03/2015 22:29

The only thing I have from there is a coat, it's FR38 and I'm usually a 12 in coats. Cranagh buys a lot from there - maybe she could advise?

shopafrolic · 11/03/2015 22:38

Have got the tape measure out and ordered a 12. We'll see.

bettykt · 11/03/2015 22:51

Liked the Zara dress Shop but like the CdC more although £150 for poly is a bit rich but it is lovely though.

Lib sounds like the holiday and shopping is well deserved after all your hard work.

Love the skirt and cashmere knit,Santa are you planning on wearing both together?

Loving the Massimo Dutti love in on here atm. I can usually find something in there I like. Usually shoes or handbags.

Undecided90 · 11/03/2015 22:53

Hello All.

Ellis - Love the Lanvin dress (I have commented under the name MeganMegan on Pin) and good to hear you had success with calorie counting too.

ShopA white dress that may be of interest to you

I am enjoying my new found hobby of fantasy online shopping and have pinned a few bits to pinterest:

silk shirts which I will go and look at the next time I am in town

lovely black cocktail dress if only I had a reason to wear it

Like these flats

I need a spring coat, not too ££ as I am losing weight and not a trench as I had one before and lost the belt and the buttons fell off. Hardly the sophisticated look I was aiming for Hmm. Needs to be simple I think.

Night, night all.

Drywhiteplease · 11/03/2015 22:58

Evening all! It's been a busy day.
Ujj glad you like the shirt! think I'll be wearing mine to work tomorrow.
Topaz haven't you noticed all my!!!!!!!!!!!!s my iPad drives me nuts, it's inappropriate sometimes !
lib I love the B Anglaise dress.
Shop No1 Mass Dutt for me too. Don't think polyester in a looser style will be too bad.
linus I'm v excited.

Am developing a slight obsession with trench coats now Cranagh!!!!!!!

Undecided90 · 11/03/2015 22:58

bettykt · 11/03/2015 23:00

Shop have you looked on Revolve Clothing for white dresses/jumpsuits? They have loads on there. Could be worth a look.

Undecided love the White HoF dress you linked.

OneLittleLady · 11/03/2015 23:07

Sorry I've been rather quiet today, haven't had the best of days, I've been in an awful lot of pain, more than usual so have been grumpy, snappy and a misery

The only Mass Dutt thing I own is a skirt but it does make me look quite slim. Unfortunately there's no store near here but will go for a look next time I'm in london.

Think I'm going to dig my red mac out. the weather is drizzly but warmish so my hobbs coat is getting a bit heavy now, for all but the coldest of days. The red is quite bright so it's good for making me stand out, just hope I don't actually look like a tomato in it Grin

Ellisisland · 12/03/2015 08:07

undecided those silk shirts you pinned are really nice. I have a couple in different couloirs and really like them.

one hope you are feeling better today Flowers

Am on the look out for some more slim fitted work trousers. Had the Gap slim fit ones before which were nice but stretched so badly that they are really baggy now.

shopafrolic · 12/03/2015 09:23

Whoever is interested in orange bags I may be selling my Anya Maxi satchel if you're interested......

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 12/03/2015 09:44

It was betty with the orange bags but think she wanted a small one.

Hope you feel better today One. I am feeling worse again today too. Also had 2 arguments with DP in the last day, and I can't decide whether I want the next month to go quickly or slowly Hmm

Undecided I've followed you on Pin. Love the black dress. The Uniqlo blouses are fab, I have 2.

I like Massimo Dutti but they seem to do mostly autumn colours every season!

libertychick · 12/03/2015 10:01

Today's outfit - black brogues, black opaques, black flared knee length skirt, cream sweater, beige trench, brown and cream missoni scarf, red lips, sunniest, black work tote... DH said when I was going out the door 'are you working undercover? You look like French spy.' Grin

Poor you Blair. Keep repeating 'it will be OK on the day'. Can you a DH do something nice, just the two of you with a 'no wedding talk' rule some evening?

MarshaBrady · 12/03/2015 10:12

Good morning! Back in Fulham Broadway for 2nd interview, won't describe outfit as same as last time. But different person so should be ok.

Aveda later for haircut.

Really want to catch up properly, this is here like a good magazine when I have a mo.

MarshaBrady · 12/03/2015 10:14

Lib brilliant but I'm changing spy to French chic

MarshaBrady · 12/03/2015 10:31

I just got lost 1 minute from interview place out of a cafe, turning wrong way. Well I would have without streetmap on phone. Sheesh!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 12/03/2015 10:39

Snap Marsha (Aveda later for haircut) Hope the interview goes well now you've found your way!

Thanks Lib, I think I'll feel better once he finally books our honeymoon...!! Your outfit sounds great, I don't think men understand trench coats. :)

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 12/03/2015 10:54

Oh and just bought this - needed a new watch for a while and this is a bit more understated than MK or MJ. I did realise yesterday that it's a total rip off of my boss's IWC - made me laugh!

Ujjayi · 12/03/2015 11:29

Shop love the CdeC dress and I think that style could be worn for so many different occasions so not specifically "evening wear". I would style with bronze or gold flat leather sandals (heels also an option but are you literally "on the beach" for this event?) and a stunning cuff. Simple & elegant.

One sorry to hear you had a crappy day. Hope today is brighter.

Lib I second Marsha's "french chic" take on your look today Wink DH would also be making Inspector Clouseau gags if I were to wear a trench but it isn't a style that suits me.

Blair is there a reason he is stalling on booking the honeymoon? Is he worried he will "get it wrong"? Love the watch - absolutely gorgeous.

Marsha you must be in your interview by now so hope all is going well.

I'm trying and failing to be productive today. Took the dog for a longer walk than usual which was all absolutely about me wasting time rather than dog having a treat!

If any of you work from home, do you find it hard to separate your working day from stuff going on in the house? I really struggle with it. For example, if the DCs/DH leave the kitchen in a mess I always feel I need to sort that out before starting work (usually bad temperedly (sp?)). DH will say that I should leave it but I cannot abide mess. I also feel that sometimes my working hours are not respected in the same way that they would be if I were employed outside of the home. I get asked to do things that can often eat a chunk of my time but feel churlish saying no to.

On a happier note...Am very pleased with my outfit today: Topshop chambray shirt (a la Dry Wink ), Zara khaki ankle skimming skinnies, Topshop suede fringed ankle boots. Feeling very spring like and am definitely leaning more towards a "grown up"/classic vibe with my look. Actually maybe this style transition is the reason for my unsettled/procrastination mood. I feel like I want to throw everything out & start again but also feeling a bit like that with my studio which is just not working for me either.

Gosh another epic post from me. Apologies for my rants Blush

OneLittleLady · 12/03/2015 11:37

I've got a question for everyone. where would you shop and what kind of things would you buy, if your clothing/shoe/accessory budget was suddenly the reverse of what it currently is, so if it was high instead of low and low instead of high? Would you do designer, charity shops, low end/high end high street?

shopafrolic · 12/03/2015 12:24

Ujj you look AWESOME today - love love love your Instagram :)
McQueen exhibition pics here
Good luck Marsha do you want it?
