It's March. Spring is in the air. We are looking forward to losing layers and baring ankles.

This is the volume of the hen do and wedding. Will queen manage to get shop to wear penis boppers Grin. And will we all shed a tear when the beautiful blair gets married.

Following on from here

Good price on the trainers, Mara and I like that shirt, Dry.

Definitely bring the makeup, One.

Liberty, I find Ash Jalouse true to size but any shoes people seem to think run big fit me just fine, I must be a big size 7!

Hang in there, Marsha, it will all be worth it!

Nice jumpsuit Queenie and love that dress, Amber.

Ujjayi · 06/03/2015 18:49

Marsha You have my sympathy. I don't deal well with household upheaval either. We had our kitchen refurbed 4 years ago now and although we had a great team I still found it hellish.

The TS flares finally arrived. They are lovely - soft denim, nice hue etc. But I don't think they suit me. I'm carrying more weight at the top of my thighs than I would like and as these are high waisted, they really show off that part of your leg, iyswim. I bought the 32" leg and I think they'd be great with flats but not suitable for heels. They look absolutely tiny before you put them on too! I took one look as I unpacked them and thought "nooo way" but they do stretch a lot.

Also sending back the Elizabeth & James dress from TK Maxx. It doesn't hang right - it feels like there is too much lining compared to fabric and so isn't a bargain even at £40. I also got some navy MiH skinnies but feeling a bit meh about them.

So after all the shopping I've done in the last 3 weeks I have...3 pairs of socks!

Looking forward to sewing for myself over the next week. I've got a few designs in mind - two dresses, the silk tank and hopefully two blouses too - one plain & one embroidered.

santamarianovella · 06/03/2015 19:04

liberty No idea about sizing, but you have a long walk everyday, so I think it's best to opt for comfort,

marsha I totally sympathise, but it will look really awful for a long time, and just towards the end of completion, when you are about to have a meltdown and start to say "dear god what have I done" it will start to come together and look perfect Grin, thats me in every project I take, don't know why I still do it.
, I miss my old kitchen back in London Sad, it took me a long time to plan it properly, it was my haven! I hate the one we have here modern sie matic, with out any handles, really nightmare if you have impatient children,

dry, tell me how you find the burrata, I used to get it from a place in marlybone, I can't find nicer ones here, so haven't had any in a long time, and I miss it terribly

I went into town today, was planing to get a pair of high heels, but they didnt have the pair I like,I might order them, probably better,

shopafrolic · 06/03/2015 19:45

Lib will post them next week.
Brent Cross has turned into Milton Keynes tomorrow which I'm not too pleased about as there is no Whistles or All Saints but there is a HoF so we'll see.

libertychick · 06/03/2015 20:46

Oh boo at Milton Keynes shop - don't panic buy anything that will just do. You still have time to get sorted. Have just sent you a pm.

Ujjayi · 06/03/2015 20:49

Shop when will you be in MK? I'm not too far away. I'm free between 1130 - 1.30pm or after 430pm if you have time for a mini MU? No probs if you are on a tight schedule Smile

shopafrolic · 06/03/2015 20:52

Ujjayi I thought you were close by. Will be with DH and DS this time but would love to see you there another time? :)

Ujjayi · 06/03/2015 21:02

Shop that would be great. Let me know next time you're over that way Smile.

shopafrolic · 06/03/2015 21:06

santamarianovella · 06/03/2015 21:51

libertychick · 06/03/2015 21:55

Ohhhh love both of those santa.

santamarianovella · 06/03/2015 21:57

Get ready for this one liberty , already obsessed

shopafrolic · 06/03/2015 21:58

Sigh. That's the best of them all.

santamarianovella · 06/03/2015 21:59

OMG! This jacket is just too perfect

shopafrolic · 06/03/2015 22:00

The shoulders.....

santamarianovella · 06/03/2015 22:07

.... are perfect shop

shopafrolic · 06/03/2015 22:12

No I was being positive as in Wow... The shoulders....

santamarianovella · 06/03/2015 22:18

I just knew we both have great taste, shop Wink, its really what I'm looking for, not fitted or constrictive , its like Isabel what's thinking of me when she designed it,

shopafrolic · 06/03/2015 22:25

It's a nice mix of structure and fluidity. I'd be interested to see how heavy the fabric is. The only part I'm struggling with is the high waisted trousers. Not sure I can go there yet. Love the boots.

libertychick · 06/03/2015 22:35

Yup the Marant jacket is fab. I like wide leg high waisted trousers.

OneLittleLady · 06/03/2015 22:37

I so want to do the high waisted trend BUT my c-section bulge just doesn't allow for it. I find it just looks wrong so I avoid, it's also why I don't wear my shirts tucked in.

My hair needs colouring but I'm a bit wary of doing it so close to my holiday as I'm going to be in and out of the pool and I have found red fades drastically on contact with chlorinated water so am holding off until after I come back. I know I'm being a holiday bore but I'm a strange mix of terrified and excited and keep panicking about making sure i do things right and have the right things Blush

santamarianovella · 06/03/2015 23:00

Sometimes they adjust designs and offer other options of similar product, shop there will probably be more trouser options,
,
i really like how grown up these looks are,it's still marant , but more fierce,

one please try to take it easy and relax, think positive things, like what you will do/see, instead of fretting on hair, your hair is fine.

OneLittleLady · 06/03/2015 23:21

I know, you're right Santa I'm just getting a bit overwhelmed by anxiety of late, everything seems to throw me into a panic Blush

I really struggle with designer trends, a lot of them just don't translate too well to the high street, well, not the bottom end of it certainly and I find it hard to buy into a trend that will only last a season, I like to think more long term. I buy quirky, it's true, but quirky that will last with my overall style. I guess I'm not really ever going to be 'fashionable' Grin did I mention that I'd bought a blue men's Batman tee and cut off the sleeves and crew neck ribbing? I probably didn't actually, I've bought so very little of late I forget to say when I do buy anything. That said, I've seen some dark blue acid wash skinnies I like the look of so may investigate them tomorrow

Drywhiteplease · 06/03/2015 23:30

Nice pics Santa.

BLog round up Marsha do NOT open this link......Pink has gone on holiday again and has perfect fake tan, but her feet are shocking Shock.
WIT is rocking Marrakesh flares.....but how does she do bare feet this time of year? Shock
DoesmyBum is wearing pop socks love her, but where from ?

I wore loafers with no socks today and survived Smile

Love high waisted, so flattering, until you turn purple because you've been sucking in your tummy for too long Grin

A follower on pin waves if you're a lurker suggested I wore my new TS shirt with stone turn up trousers and brown brogues. This has spurred me on to shorten my camel BR Sloane fit trs from last year that I still haven't altered.......please nag me to do it this weekend Smile
