It's March. Spring is in the air. We are looking forward to losing layers and baring ankles.

This is the volume of the hen do and wedding. Will queen manage to get shop to wear penis boppers Grin. And will we all shed a tear when the beautiful blair gets married.

Following on from here

OK so that's one, QueenC, and Bernice in favour! I won't cancel the order then Smile. I will try them on.

I like those other Clark's ones you have linked Bernice. Will try those too.

Jalouse are a good idea and as it happens I will be passing an Ash shop today so I'll see if there are any in stock to try.

Linus I don't like the idea of wooden soles but I might try Hasbeens too.

shopafrolic · 06/03/2015 10:44

Morning all.

Lib would you like these shorts. They say size 12 but they are huge on me (and I'm a 12) so more like 14. Let me know? I won't comment on the shoes Grin but I think you'd look fab in Hasbeens (TopShop do a good version too)

MarshaBrady · 06/03/2015 11:25

Lib yes I see what you mean I may be in the same corner as Santa on that one Wink

Great shorts Shop

Kitchen has arrived. It's real! Need to get it put up then can eat again

MarshaBrady · 06/03/2015 11:26

Thanks QueenC sorry I'm usually very good! Thanks I know it's tricky doing the organising so really appreciate it Thanks

shopafrolic · 06/03/2015 14:15

Exciting times - new kitchen Marsha will be fab when done. Hang in there.

MarshaBrady · 06/03/2015 14:17

Gorgeous day. We've put in a night out on Saturday night, I really need it.

I think I'm refurb-sensitive. My stress levels go through the roof! Dh is fine, fine, it'll be fine. I'm at high tension point, perhaps it's because I'm home amongst it.

Will be glad when it's done and I can get back to shopping, far easier Grin

MarshaBrady · 06/03/2015 14:17

Shop wish I was going to the Grand Canaries too. That sounds far more enjoyable!

MarshaBrady · 06/03/2015 14:18

Oh crap have I just mixed up two places? Confused where are you going? Grin

shopafrolic · 06/03/2015 14:21

Grand Cayman Grin

MarshaBrady · 06/03/2015 14:22

lol Grin

shopafrolic · 06/03/2015 14:23

I was pregnant when we did our bathroom. I had to move out. DH stayed here and had to wee in a bucket Shock. He was still completely chilled while I had a minor breakdown.....
We have a building project due to start in the summer. Not looking forward to it. Lots of outside building and landscaping - mud central.

MarshaBrady · 06/03/2015 14:32

Shock indeed. That was brave of him esp as my mind is wandering to a very non-vogue question

LinusDKD · 06/03/2015 14:40

Lol marsha!

I would love a new kitchen but ours is still ok and we probably won't be staying in this home forever so it wouldn't make sense to change it.

OneLittleLady · 06/03/2015 15:07

I'm up to my eyeballs in envelope generators, trigger delays and trying to find media files. I love it though but it's time for a break since I'm struggling to focus. In fairness, I have been at it a good couple of solid hours.

When the bathroom was done here, I was still at home looking after my mum and the toilet was the first thing fitted. I could cope with having to go home and have a bath/shower but there's no way I'd have been peeing in a bucket!

maradesbois · 06/03/2015 15:15

Marsha Grin at wandering mind. Good luck with project kitchen. I love ours, will be sad to leave it when we move, big and light filled. Dream of a lacanche range cooker though.

Linus am all for symmetry too, like hercule poirot!

Lib, saw your shoe link last night and was trying to find something nice to say. Still trying! Think they need to be seen on. Know what you mean about wooden soles though, not comfortable.

Have just bought some stan smiths, the classic one like this. A nice garance doré pic illustrating how I will waft about town in them in spring.

maradesbois · 06/03/2015 15:17

Stan smiths were £49 in office btw, thought that was a good price.

QueenQueenie · 06/03/2015 15:59

Afternoon laydeez,
Have enjoyed reading the raging dungaree debate... can I add this denim jumpsuit into the mix... bought it today on a whim and really like it but worried I might look a bit mutton.

QueenCardigan · 06/03/2015 16:14

Really like that queenie if you can pull it off. fedup didn't you get something similar last year?

Gorgeous and sunny here and didn't even need my coat this afternoon Smile

AmberNectarine · 06/03/2015 16:17

Love that QueenQ

I've got a similar one from F21 here

Am all about the denim at the mo - bought this today.

What I want now is a pale coloured duffle bag or rucksack.

QueenQueenie · 06/03/2015 16:18

Hmmm, that is indeed the ? Queen C. Will try it on in front of my teens, if they hate it it's probably a keeper!

It's gorgeous here in deepest Norf London, Spring is really in the air. Went out in a sheepskin gilet (nicer than it sounds) - very daring!

justasecond · 06/03/2015 16:27

Hi all such a lovely sunny day today even though it has been spent doing boring stuff. I was tempted to go out sock less today in loafers but my feet just looked too white and strange and a completely different colour to my face so the socks and boots went back on.
Marsha hope you get your kitchen up and running soon. We were going to replace our kitchen when we extended a few years ago but I realised what I wanted to get was basically the same as we already had so have left it for now.
Lib Clarks shoes not what I would choose but if you like them don't worry about the rest of us we can't all like the same things!
Mara I keep thinking about stan smiths that's a good price too..
Queenie the jumpsuit does not look mutton at all. How will you style it?
One not long now before you are off?

QueenQueenie · 06/03/2015 16:34

Was thinking of wearing it with sleeves and legs unrolled, front buttoned up and boots with mid heel for now, then rolled sleeves and legs and more caj with flats / sneakers and bare legs when the weather warms up a bit... what d'ya think?

Drywhiteplease · 06/03/2015 16:54

Marsha it's hard while it's happening! but will be so worth it and you'll forget about the hassle once you're done and using it.

I bought this today. Another see, grab, pay. BUT it's lovely, great neat fit, beautiful soft cotton, not at all bulky or stiff....will wear it a lot. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Cheese night went down a storm.

Drywhiteplease · 06/03/2015 16:55

linus thank you Thanks

libertychick · 06/03/2015 17:11

It really is so nice today - just spent an hour in the park post nursery pick up chatting with some of the other Mums while the DC ran riot! Was fun, feels like spring has sprung!

I had a coffee this morning with the lovely Sleep - she was in her work out gear - I am so Envy Envy Envy of her arms - good motivation though, I did tricep dips on the stairs as soon as I got home Grin

As predicted the opinion is divided on the Clarks!!! Will see how they look when they arrive. I did try some Ash Jalouse today, I love the look of them but the 39 felt a bit big, like my heel was going to slip out and the 38 felt tight. How do others who have them find the sizing?

I popped into Toast and tried these Hasbeens alikes. I really liked the look of them on but found the wooden sole very strange to walk on. As the sole has no 'give' I am worried they would not be all that comfortable for day to day wear. Again, those of you who have Hasbeens or similiar, do you get used to the feel of the wooden sole? The criteria here is that they have to be good for days of on and off Tubes with walks of up to 30 mins in between.

QueenQ and Amber I like those jumpsuits although I can state with confidence that I would look absolutely shockingly awful in them Smile. Really like the Topshop denim dress too.

Yay for new kitchens marsha. Lots of deep breaths. You have my sympathy, absolutely hate having any kind of work done in the house. We're having some painting done next week so need to sort rooms for that this weekend.

Shop I would love the shorts! Thank you Flowers. How did the Brent Cross trip go or have you been yet?
