QueenC great links who need fashion mags when we have you? ESP love the Jigsaw moss v neck sweater and the yellow and claret Hobbs dresses. Lovely.
Karbea I'm going to contradict la Santa I love the Austerberry blazer by JW. V preppy but I tried it on last year and it's fab quality and a great fit for a petite lady, v flattering....just depends on your style. I'm fairly classic and would wear it.

libertychick · 07/02/2015 16:46

I debated ordering the yellow Hobbs dress the other day but thought it looked like it would be annoying to iron . Great links QueenC. Thank you v much. I must check out BR and Jigsaw next week too.

I have one more item to arrive. A Tory Burch dress from Outnet. Going to stop ordering on line. Stressing me out and I think I need to see things and get used to the colours.

dry I am going to agree with you and disagree with The Santa and say I like that jacket as well.

I would wear it with something to toughen it up a bit and make it less preppy but I love a tweed blazer.

MarshaBrady · 07/02/2015 17:13

It is harder to link for people and actually result in a purchase than I thought!

Especially when you have to factor in the style too, I can see why it's difficult in any season.

Marni and Marni / H&M had a lot of good autumn colours.

Not sure on the jacket. I had a Bruno one, a bit different, but I always find that curved hem style difficult.

Karbea · 07/02/2015 17:38

I've already got two similar jackets that I had when I used to work. I should really wear them with jeans. Mind you they are probably a bit tired looking...

Drywhiteplease · 07/02/2015 17:59

Dry and linus hold hands in tweed loving solidarity Grin always thought I'd be a twin set and pearl old lady, maybe a hair band too Wink

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 07/02/2015 18:07

Zara has a lot of autumn colours this season, and Massimo Dutti always does too. I think lib has discovered where the Spring colours are to be found - alas I don't see myself in Boden (though love their shoes). Their jumpers are probably worth a look for me.

We've just ordered our wedding rings! DP's cost 7 times what mine did - I'll make up for it in the future Wink

MarshaBrady · 07/02/2015 18:20

Blair Shock how did that happen?! Grin

LinusDKD · 07/02/2015 18:30

Maybe MrBlair has got very big hands Wink

LinusDKD · 07/02/2015 18:33

dry and linus sitting in a tree, K.I.S.S.I.N.G!

(When this comes to haunt me in the future, I will totally blame the medication I have just taken. Throat feels like there's razorblades in it Sad. No temp at the moment so that's something)

shopafrolic · 07/02/2015 18:35

DH's wedding ring cost a fortune when compared to mine - thickness and size Grin
Waves to all - Toast also good for Autumn colours.
AM on wine - have had potentially bad news about DF today (health stuff). Need to process.

LinusDKD · 07/02/2015 18:40

Oh no shop! I'm so sorry to hear that. (((Hugs)))

QueenCardigan · 07/02/2015 18:45

shop hope you're ok.
I quite like the jacket too but I like a bit of preppiness but can see styled with lk Bennett wedges it would stray into kate terroritry.
linus how are your dc? Are they better? Look after yourself.

Anyone have plans for tonight? We're going to friends but will be walking home so need something fairly warm. Was thinkng flares but I'm just not happy with my shoes with them. And even if I bought new shoes I'm not sure what I'd go for. I'm not a huge wedge fan.

Karbea · 07/02/2015 18:52

I've been looking at zara and massimo dutti this afternoon. I think I need to go to the actual stores. Are the sales over now?

LinusDKD · 07/02/2015 18:53

DD and DS still have a temp but are ok between medication intakes. DH is on the mend but not a 100% yet and I am feeling worse but as I have no temp I am clinging on to the fact it's not flu but just a bad cold.

I think it's going to be an early night for me...

Have fun queenc!

LinusDKD · 07/02/2015 19:37

Spoke too soon... have a fever now. Tucked up in bed. Night night.

muddlingalongquitenicely · 07/02/2015 19:51

Fedupnagging · 07/02/2015 19:52

Shop Flowers hope everything will be ok.

Linus get well soo .

Queen great links. Loved the hobbs Michelle dress and the toast dress.

Your work outfit looks great Lib. The blouse is a gorgeous colour.

Picked up this knit this week so channelled
this look today but with the blue jumper instead of cream.

We have just been to the cinema and for a meal with the dc's. Earlier convo went like this:

Me: dad & I are going to the cinema this afternoon
Ds3: great can I come? Oh and can we have a meal?
Me:I guess so. Ds2 do you want to,come too?
Ds2: are we definitely having food? And you're paying right?
Dh: I'm just off to the f money tree at the bottom of the garden, y'know, where the rainbow ends!! Grin

Anyway, we had a good time!

OneLittleLady · 07/02/2015 19:52

Hope you are okay Shop take care of yourself and don't overload yourself Thanks

Fell better soon linus and family Thanks

No real plans for tonight QueenC Dp is cooking me dinner and we might watch a film

libertychick · 07/02/2015 19:52

Hugs for you Shop, hope you are ok.

Get well soon Linus.

Marsha I think linking for me and Karbea is really hard ATM! Because I have always built my wardrobe around black/grey/cool blues I can't do much mixing and matching yet and double ups (like the cream sweater which is still in my outnet basket BTW) seem especially wasteful. My main gripe is lack of shoes, also I am a big scarf wearer and I only have a couple so far in autumn colours whereas I have about 20 in winter shades, not much gold jewellery etc. And real lack of basics like cardigans in neutral colours, just feel like I don't know where to start in some ways and really worried about making expensive mistakes.

Feel better tomorrow Linus!

Sorry to hear about your DF shop, I hope you are OK.

at "thickness and size" shop. Yes, mine is 2mm yellow gold while his is 8mm platinum. No comment on the hands!

Tomorrow is our "final details" yes 9 weeks before! meeting at the venue. I don't have everything organised so I hope it doesn't matter! And we're still waiting for 26 RSVPs out of 59, after asking for them to be returned by next Saturday. Most of the non-repliers are people who have never had to organise a wedding!

Yup I'm with liberty non RSVP is bad but they still have a week I'm v stuffy about RSVP , I like it worded correctly too snob
Oh Shop so worrying, hugs, and hope you will all be ok.
No comment about the size of my DH's ring
Fedup I love your DH! will use that one some time, funny Grin
Mara I'm going to have to PM you about TG Wife.....season 4, I'm obsessed.
liberty meant to say a few days ago that your ny healthy/well being stuff is amazing. Brilliant Smile
And QueenC on sofa, finishing last night's red wine see linus with my iPad and fire on.......men in family room continuing the sports fest.

DS had lunch at the rugby club today.....sausage and mash, and an "enormous" chip butty at half time, "it was awesome" ffs apologies but what a load of rubbish. Teenage boy heaven. When I met DH I firmly believed and still do that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach unless he's a chef, that would be embarrassing if only I'd realized that a carb fest of junk would have done the job. Don't know why I bother! have mentioned to DS that the way to a woman's heart is chocolate and taught him how to make a wicked choc torte .......that wouldn't have worked for me as I prefer a cheese board, not sexy though is it?

Withering.......off to watch another episode.....laters
