Bravo! Looks really lovely

BrandyAlexander · 24/01/2015 14:32

Fab. After a rocky start I love my red one. Think yours is more gorgeous.Envy

BrandyAlexander · 24/01/2015 14:33

Also love the 2nd Stella blazer, even with my irrational dislike of her.Grin

MarshaBrady · 24/01/2015 14:35

lol. I feel like that about VB's clothes. Some of it is very nice, the bags esp, but can't bring myself to buy anything with her name stamped on it even if I could afford it

LinusDKD · 24/01/2015 14:44

Oooh lovely shop! It is perfect!

I have to say, I have an irrational dislike of Stella McCartney as well but I really do love that Ingrid blazer so I might have to swallow my pride and try it on. Grin

There's a boutique in town that sells SM And Saint Laurent so I'll go in and see if they have some nice blazers to try on. They are a bit snooty there though so I will have to mentally prepare myself.

And their display is a bit too messy and crowded, which is a pet hate of mine. I like merchandise to be displayed in a clean and uncluttered way, otherwise I can't 'scan' the rails for things that I might like.

BrandyAlexander · 24/01/2015 14:52

You don't do TK Maxx do you Linus?Grin

Let us know how that blazer fits? It would pain me so much to swallow pride but it is stunning.

Marsha I would have thought VBs clean lines were right up your street! Love the clothes though the bags are too simple for me. And big! They would drown me!

MarshaBrady · 24/01/2015 14:54

I just can't bring myself to do it Novice. The name, the fact she didn't sweat it out in St Martins with everyone else. Gets to me

Even the logo typeface is nice, but the name Grin

Mind you, if someone gave me one of those yellow tote bags, I wouldn't say no.

santamarianovella · 24/01/2015 15:00

Woohoo! shop, Great service too!

I love love Stella clothes, but not her bags or shoes , she really had a huge mark on fashion in late 90s and early 2000s ,and still does, everything she does is so fresh and contemporary yet it doesn't go out of style,

And Shock Shock how dare you all compare her to VB! Stella went to central st Martins, and worked as an intern in many fashion houses, her CV is impressive! She knows what she is doing, VB just has an illusion of grandeur. She is a wannabe designer!

Stella reinvented chloe, it was in a bad shape under Karl lagerfeld,

You can talk BS about VB but not stella

You can tell I'm snowed in and I'm losing my mind! Grin

MarshaBrady · 24/01/2015 15:02

Grin I'm a big Stella fan too. Esp re Chloe

MarshaBrady · 24/01/2015 15:03

And her own label. Love the clothes

There's something about her actual sleb lifestyle photographed every where that bugs - but a small thing.

Drywhiteplease · 24/01/2015 15:15

Stella m won me over with this incredible bit of tailoring. What I'd do for that suit! Has a tasty DH too. Shame her shoes are plastic but you have to admire her for sticking to her principles.

santamarianovella · 24/01/2015 15:22

, she worked with a talior in savile row, and if I'm not mistaken her boutique still offers custom made blazers and suits , which is incredible I think, that's why her blazers are so popular,

She was with gwyneth all the time, but I see less of them together now,

Drywhiteplease · 24/01/2015 15:24

Shop it's beautiful Smile

MarshaBrady · 24/01/2015 15:29

I do love that she reinvigorated blazers. Much easier to find something for work if you want to spend that much.

I prefer Marant blazer, but that's because I work in a more casual place.

santamarianovella · 24/01/2015 15:34

The marant ones are really nice and I love the unconstructed fit, but the length is too long for me, really hoping they come up with a shorter length for next AW.

MarshaBrady · 24/01/2015 15:38

I'm with you though Santa. Saint Laurent are the ones that really get me.

LinusDKD · 24/01/2015 15:52

Now look what you did! You Upset The Santa! Wink

I agree dry that tailored skirt and jacket is to die for. And I like her husband's beard. He reminds me a bit of that Patrick Grant of the Great British Sewing Bee.

I might have a look if I can find that Ingrid jacket on another site that doesn't charge extortionate p&p.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 24/01/2015 16:02

Shop it's gorgeous!! Love love it.

I was confused earlier, thought "David" was this David and missed the Beckham bit. Wink

LinusDKD · 24/01/2015 16:09

I can so see amber or one wearing this

LinusDKD · 24/01/2015 16:10

I love the star print jeans as well btw, but they're probably a One Season Wonder.

OneLittleLady · 24/01/2015 17:10

I love that print linus I saw it on several items when I went into Selfridges. Maybe one day when I'm not a poor student Wink

shopafrolic · 24/01/2015 17:11

Sorry - just back from all the pre party prep. Why a rocky start with yours Novice
It's my first bag with silver hardware - not used to it. The colour is perfect and the bag is a good size. Really thrilled. I think I have been conned though. DH announced that he has had a last minute invite to go shooting on DS' birthday (Monday) - Anyone think the bag might have been a sweetener Hmm :)

BrandyAlexander · 24/01/2015 17:45

I love Santa in passionate form!Grin

Shop rocky because I wasn't sure about it at first. mine is the large and is too big to use on a daily basis. I use it as when I do business travel as I go from meeting to meeting all day long and it keeps my papers well. I did actually think about getting the black in a medium but at the moment I am more attracted to the Celine. If I was allowed to ask for birthday presents that would be it.

Drywhiteplease · 24/01/2015 17:46

Hmm perhaps.....but what a sweetener Shop, I guess dd will be at school anyway. not wanting to defend your DH, sisterhood and all that Wink

3rd night out in a row. Feeling ok. Have paced myself well so far. Think I'll give my Jaeger leather pencil skirt another outing, an excellent buy Mara, love it so much.

Anyone tell me what one essential piece I should save up for next? Am thinking a stone bag for daywear might be a good call or I'm in love with these

Lovely, gorgeous bag shop

love those heels Dry

Lots of sensible purchases from me today, things like new heads for my electric toothbrush and toiletries. I also bought a pair of ripped jeans, I think they were a fair purchase as I only have one pair of jeans that fits me currently and they were reduced/on sale plus i can wear them on my flight as they are very soft and unrestrictive on me. plan to wear them with my comic book tights underneath so they peek out from the rips and also keep me warm

really must colour my hair tonight, it's been too long since it was last done so tonights the night, also bought a face mask to put on while i do it Grin
