Still going strong as we head into 2015. Not a chance I can beat the vol 50 intro from the lovely Dry so I won't even try. Lots of newbies have joined the fun, why don't you? Come tell us your sales splurges. All welcome for fun fashion chat.

novice me too! I have something similar in blue.

muddlingalongquitenicely · 12/01/2015 22:30

I am browsing shoes to stop me eating some crisps and keeping looking at Chanel flat pumps. I hardly ever wear flats but really like them

libertychick · 12/01/2015 22:34

I would love a pair of Chanel flats muddling. So elegant.

Drywhiteplease · 12/01/2015 22:47

Me too

These are more in price range at the moment but a close match to the Chanel colours i like.

Hi everyone just got home, popping in to say thank you for the birthday wishes and happy birthday to One (technically a day late, sorry Flowers). Will catch up tomorrow xx

OneLittleLady · 13/01/2015 10:45

I hope you had a lovely time Sleep Thanks

Argh, getting ready to go get my train and frankly, I just don't want to go. I want to stay here. I wish I could stay longer but I just can't Sad Sad Sad

bettykt · 13/01/2015 11:04

Lib I don't think your dh sounded harsh at all, I think it's great that he takes an interest in what you wear, the dress is a lovely colour but if the fit isn't right then return it.

Re: underwear I;m pretty much like the rest of you white, nude and black, t-shirt bras so no showing under clothes. I do need to upgrade my u/w as it's pretty boring, I have started introducing more colour for variation and I alway match whenever I can which is most of the time.

Nice shoes Muddling

I'd like some pointy flats too Dry but am now on a spending ban until I find a new job. We went through what had come out of the joint account last year last night and it was frankly scary (especially considering all my clothes buys came from my own account). I think the worst was £270 on kindle downloads - all those £3 books really add up!

I have bought quite a few sets of underwear in the past - I'm a 28 back too Karbea and Novice - but get annoyed with having to handwash the knickers so tend to only wear them for best. But I always wear an underwired bra regardless of the weather.

My mum alwasy used to bring me Bond knickers from Australia which I really like but she only buys clothes for the kids now. I can't get on with shorts, they always ride up, I suspect my bum is too big for them Blush

Alsoflamingo · 13/01/2015 12:04

Yes to pointy flats! Am drowning in ballet flats and time to update things a bit. BUT am trying to be really tough on myself and not buy anything new until I have purged my over-exploding wardrobe…. Process has started, but suspect will take SOME TIME. In the meantime I should take out shares in Muji as have bought so many of their clear storage units in desperate attempt to get wardrobe/house/study/life into some sort of order. ….

QueenCardigan · 13/01/2015 12:38

I'd like some lace up ballet flats similar to this. Can't find any round toed ones on the high St yet though-they're all pointy toes. I've seen some tutorials on pin on how to add your own laces to a pair of balls flats but I'm sure if I did that it would look totally naff.

Karbea · 13/01/2015 12:45

Hello, I'm back, I'm an autumn. What a complete revelation!

QueenCardigan · 13/01/2015 12:48

Oh wow karbea I was just thinking of you. Another autumn. I can't remember what you suspected you may be?

I adore these shoes

bettykt · 13/01/2015 12:52

Karbea I was though today was HOC day but wasn't 100% sure. What's your reaction? Pleased, you thought as much or unsure? I can imagine no matter what the outcome if must take a while to digest and accept it.

MarshaBrady · 13/01/2015 12:53

Karbea how exciting! What do you think?

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 13/01/2015 12:59

Wow karbea a blonde autumn! What sort of autumn? :)

Stokey · 13/01/2015 13:09

Very exciting Karbea you and Liberty can enable each other. Did you enjoy the session?

Karbea · 13/01/2015 13:09

I'm a dark vibrant autumn.
I'm really pleased although I doubt much of my wardrobe will work now. It was a complete revelation she knew fairly quickly I was spring or summer as I've yellow undertones to my skin. But really struggled with which I was a first, the pale colours from both looked a bit wishy washy, but once she'd put on the lipstick and then went through the darker autumn colours it was amazing!
I've signed up for the style day but need to agree an actual date, in for a penny in for a pound...

bettykt · 13/01/2015 13:20

How exciting and just as well you held off buying new clothes, now you'll need to hold off for a little while longer until your style day. Hope the day comes soon.

Karbea · 13/01/2015 13:24

I think I'll have to buy some things, but probably just focus on basics like long sleeve t's etc.

shopafrolic · 13/01/2015 13:41

Karbea what dress size are you?

OP posts:
Karbea · 13/01/2015 13:59

shopafrolic I'm an 8.
Just going through my wardrobe now, it's so interesting, lots of things I've had for ages and love or fine, whereas all my "who am I" purchases of late are wrong. I so clearly lost my way... Sad that all my older stuff is well old, and not necessarily right for my life now, but good to see I was once on the right path.

Karbea · 13/01/2015 13:59

Or = are.

OneLittleLady · 13/01/2015 14:00

another autumn!are you happy with the pallette youve been given karbea?

on the trqin on my way back home.saaaaaad Sad Sad Sad

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 13/01/2015 14:01

It's a shame as it's much easier to find things in the right colours when it's actually that season. I had my colours done in October and really struggled to find warm brights when the shops were full of AW stuff.

But that's what the outnet is for Wink
