Still going strong as we head into 2015. Not a chance I can beat the vol 50 intro from the lovely Dry so I won't even try. Lots of newbies have joined the fun, why don't you? Come tell us your sales splurges. All welcome for fun fashion chat.

Bet it will be one steamy wedding night blair, both of you ripping each other clothes.

santamarianovella · 12/01/2015 17:45

OMG! mara I know a couple of places in London that sell these, we used to buy bed linen for clients, and i saw loads of these, didnt know they existed before that.

Drywhiteplease · 12/01/2015 17:50

Does MrMara have these too? When I acquired DH he came with a pair of these......Shock

Drywhiteplease · 12/01/2015 17:50

these

maradesbois · 12/01/2015 17:55

Dry he has those too, no word of a lie but without the backs!

shopafrolic · 12/01/2015 17:56

Lib I LOVE that dress - gorgeous colour. How exciting. I know what you mean about matching to swatches - I find it very difficult.

maradesbois · 12/01/2015 17:57

here they are!

santamarianovella · 12/01/2015 18:00

dH has one of those mara and he is in late 30s, he once went to the petrol station wearing them Blush

libertychick · 12/01/2015 18:09

Ha ha at the nightwear for Blair Grin

Although I now have an image of Mara in a knitted bed jacket with MrMara in silk paisley - like a scene from an Edwardian drama.

MrLib has spoken on the subject of the dress. He says the colour is great on me but the dress is too tight across the hips and 'not suitable'. When I made this Sad he said that he thought the whole point was buying nicer clothes not cheap rubbish and that I should find a dress that colour with a better cut and fabric. Ok then Smile

OneLittleLady · 12/01/2015 18:16

hello all

have had a great day apart from the rain, just got back and i'm soaked! I have a new McQueen razor blade wrap bracelet, the thin one with a sort of watercolour floral pattern over the band from Dp (looked for a link but it's not on the selfridges website). other shopping today includes an adventure time tee, black and red tartan trousers, a bright pink and red tartan skirt, a burgundy a-line peter pan collar dress and a couple of merino cardigans in black and grey

LinusDKD · 12/01/2015 18:27

DH has these Church's slippers.

It is actually quite hard to find nice slippers for men. They are either too 'Dad's Army' or too novelty/joke-y

Drywhiteplease · 12/01/2015 18:48

I quite like those linus.......Mara I'll see your DHs slippers, and raise you a tweed flat cap Grin

LinusDKD · 12/01/2015 18:56

DH has a tweed flat cap as well. I think he looks quite handsome in his. Wink

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 12/01/2015 19:06

Sounds lovely One - this one?? The weather is rubbish isn't it :(

Lib what do you think, is it too tight on the hips? Can you sit down?

santa never mind ripping off each others clothes, I'd be ripping that nightie off myself!!

Drywhiteplease · 12/01/2015 19:10

I think a pair of red ballet or pointy flats is at the top of my S/S wish list.

Ok....here's my underwear question promised before Christmas but stalled because I'm scared of pervy lurkers anyway, it's a delicate question;
What do you wear day to day? Novice we already know Grin what I mean is, I love beautiful undies as much as the next person, but as you know I'm fussy;
Don't like colour showing through
Don't like bumps caused by lace, like a smooth line
Which leaves boring, unsexy nude t shirt bras most of the time because I wear a lot of fine knits/jersey tops etc.
What do you do?

OneLittleLady · 12/01/2015 19:10

it is that one blair its really cute and quite delicate when its on.i have more presents to come but they havent been delivered yet Smile Smile

MarshaBrady · 12/01/2015 19:12

lol Dry

I wear really, really plain stuff, Bodas is my first choice but I'm cheap and it's usually M&S or Sainsbury's. I have lost my designer tag now I think.

MarshaBrady · 12/01/2015 19:13

I need to look at links but Lib that dress is gorgeous!

MarshaBrady · 12/01/2015 19:14

Santa completely agree about Sienna M looking odd. I have no idea what she's done but she looks different.

libertychick · 12/01/2015 19:19

Blair it is a bit clingy. It might be OK with a better quality fabric. Sizing up would just mean the top was too big. I have this problem a lot with dresses. I will take it back tomorrow. Was over excited at finding something in one of my ** colours.

dry I wear lacy bras in winter when generally I am wearing thicker fabrics on top. T shirt bras in summer. I like oyster rather than nude. For pants I wear either boy short style or big old fashioned pants. Usually M&S or John Lewis. I only wear lacy pants by special request Wink

muddlingalongquitenicely · 12/01/2015 19:23

I have just bought a load of plain shorts style and will be looking for some plain tshirt bras in black/nude. I have lacy sets but they feel itchy and uncomfortable wearing all day so save them for going out.

I was disappointed with the shorts i bought from debenhams and ended up with a couple of packs from asda which are a better quality imo

Fedupnagging · 12/01/2015 19:39

Lovely dress Lib - shame it doesn't fit properly but agree with your dh, go and spend a bit more and get a dress that you feel right in. Keep the necklace though, it's really nice.

Great nightwear links ladies Grin Mara I was going to mention bed jackets but you beat me to it! I remember my Granny wearing a white one.

Dry I'm with you, don't like my bra showing through clothes so summer is usually t shirt bra's from M&S or Chantelle. In winter, again M&S, - Limited collection quite often do bra sets in various colours/patterns but with smooth cups and minimal lace.

Am loving the bucket bag - look at all these lovlies. I am very taken with the orange ones at the start for summer. I don't wear orange or anything that is remotely orange like but a clashing bag is fine right?

LinusDKD · 12/01/2015 19:54

I wear lace bras primarily in winter and sometimes in summer when they don't show too much through the fabric.

I don't mind a bit showing but I do prefer t-shirt bras for certain tees.

My knickers are hardly even matching but I just like very plain boyshorts in nude, black or white.

I did buy lots of Hanky Panky lace boyshorts in an array of colours but they haven't washed really well. They were lovely to wear in the beginning but now they look a bit worn and at that price it's just unacceptable.

I really like that dress lib, it is just a gorgeous colour.

justasecond · 12/01/2015 19:59

I have 10 pairs of these the best pants in the history of pants imo. When I bought them I threw away all my other ones. They are so comfy and ahem, never ride up and no vpl! Not exciting but they do the job really well.
I love a bucket bag FedUp I have a Kate Spade one that I use in the summer, the only thing is that it takes ages to find anything in it.
That was a lovely dress Lib I love that colour but you are right to return if its not perfect.
