We went to friends last night, had a takeaway and played board games all evening with our dc's. We had such a fun and relaxed evening. Finally fell into bed at 1.30 then woke at 3, 5 and 7am.

Happy new year! Just had fun catching up on all your posts. Had a fabulous evening and all 12 kids lasted till midnight. Wore my new velvet shoes and I think I may even love them more than the silver glitter ones.

Just to confirm that meet up is 14 March. I think we said daytime but that usually goes on till late (I normally get a train home about 8pm). I'm happy to organise but will need the help of Londoners to suggest places.

We had a similar evening to you Fed up friends over, three couples, 5 DC, made it til about 1.30 drinking fizz. We played a game called Cards Against Humanity which I recommend if you're after something a bit edgy. Definitely not to be played with any parents or children though!

I did my usual and was woken up by the fireworks. I'll cook a big brunch in a while and then we'll head off for a long walk somewhere. Hope 2015 is a fab year for all of us.

I totted up yesterday how much i spent on "stuff". Turns out dh's estimate was right!

Best buy of last year - my MaxMara coat. Closely followed by the Roland Mouret dress. Best fashion moments - discovering I am a 13 yo child in Gap and also ds waking me up at 6am on the day the roland mouret collection for banana republic was released! best MNV sheep moments - my leather trousers worn on Boxing Day (thanks Shop, and that's from dh too!), my Michael Kors stripey top worn yesterday (thanks Shop!), my biker boots (thanks Linus!) and my current lovely orangey nails (thanks QueenC!).

Slept really badly last night so am currently snuggled up in my star wars dressing gown sipping coffee. Dp leaves today so am sad about that
