I like the Rag and Bone skinnies Marsha - was there a decent discount?

Dry I wish I lived near you – you sound like life is a constant blast!! And you have so much energy, I sometimes feel tired reading your posts and then I think ‘why can’t I do that??’ Smile

Betty the Dannie pants look v v useful – please do feedback on them.

Sounds like your DS had a great birthday Sleep, have fun tonight!

Karbea your DH has great taste in shoes, those Manolos are gorgeous.

Blair custom made shoes sound fantastic and why not monogram – it’s a special day. I am really sorry but I am not able to make it to the March MU as I am out of the country on the date.

Novice thanks for the accessories ideas. I got the watch pin, I agree something like that would be great. I must look for something similar and I will check out the necklaces you suggested in Accessorise. In the end I wore a couple of silver bangles and this necklace

Fedup sounds like Monday was tough Flowers for you

Cranagh Burberry bag is gorgeous, very you! Many congratulations on the house, how exciting.

My best purchase in 2014 was definitely the Sam Edelman Petty boots (thanks Marsha for putting me onto those). I love that I helped perfect items find their merry way to Shop and One Smile

Mammoth post

libertychick · 31/12/2014 15:58

And to add my Happy New Year eve wishes to everyone too. I've had a lot of support from people on this thread this year and it has been very much appreciated Flowers for all of you. Quiet night in for me with some Pinot Noir before I have a dry January.

I'm having a burst of NY resolution inspired organisation today...so far I have ordered new trainers, made a list of all the nearby exercise classes (mix of cardio and yoga) - I'm going to make sure I go to at least 2 classes a week. Have booked a dental check up (I keep avoiding the dentist, huge fear) and I have decided to stop dithering over it and have booked a 1:1 day with a HoC consultant to get both the colour and the style analysis done on 10th January. To help cover the cost of this I have cancelled the Cos order from a few days ago...

Karbea · 31/12/2014 16:04

liberty I'm on a mission to get myself sorted next year! this year due to some cr@ppy personal stuff I've lost myself, hardly seen my friends, stopped exercising etc. new year, old new me. Really need to give myself a kick up the bum.
I need to sort out my vitamins tonight, I'm sure I keep getting sick as I've been very slack in taking them.

shopafrolic · 31/12/2014 16:06

Wow Lib go you! Amazing. Can't wait to hear your HoC results - it will be v interesting. Hugs to you my fabulous friend and a very Happy New Year.
Oh and I may have just bought some boots

shopafrolic · 31/12/2014 16:14

link fail sorry - here

libertychick · 31/12/2014 16:19

Shop those boots are fabulous, LOVE them. Did you order on line or buy in a shop today?

libertychick · 31/12/2014 16:20

Kick in the bum is exactly what I need Karbea. We can urge each other on here Smile

MarshaBrady · 31/12/2014 16:21

Lib great stuff! New year action, love it. The Rag&Bone weren't too bad. Reduced from £175 to £120 (not great) but then I had a £25 Liberty voucher. Paying £95 for skinnies still stings, but then I see the J Brands for nearly £300 and I don't feel so bad. And aww that you are not at the next mu, I think you've been at every one I have? Will miss you!

Stokey and Karbea would be great if you could make it!

Shop great boots.

Blair the wedding is coming together, how exciting. Outfit sounds great.

Cranagh fab bag

Dry your NYE outfit sounds great too.

OneLittleLady · 31/12/2014 16:24

liB I can't wait to hear you HoC results. You did indeed get the [perfect item to me, Gracie is just gorgeous and goes with so much of my wardrobe Thanks

shopafrolic · 31/12/2014 16:32

Lib I had ordered some shearling lined ankle boots on their website to try, and had them deliverd to store. Got to store, tried them and they looked awful on me, way too wide at the ankles. And then i saw those beauties, not in the sale of course, but because I had already paid for the ankle boots it didn't sting so much to add some more £ to get them. I can't justify the price for 5050s (albeit £100 or so more) and I am in desperate need of some boots. These seemed similar (elastic at the back) but the buckle means I can tighten them to fit my calf perfectly (so far all other boots I've tried have gaped).
The replacement IM shirt has arrived so assuming that fits I am now on a spending ban until I need to buy holiday clothes in the Spring.
I wish I lived near Dry would love to spend NYE in your house / shed.

LinusDKD · 31/12/2014 16:49

Just popping in to wish everyone a Happy New Year! Thank you all for all the fashion chat, enabling and moral support throughout the year!

We are staying in just the four of us (slight change of plans) so I am on cooking duty while DH plies me with G&T's and Champagne.

Drywhiteplease · 31/12/2014 17:03

I'd love you all to come over, the more the merrier IMO .....thanks lib my poor DH looks permanently exhausted though and has been know to fall asleep when we are out Xmas Shock .... And an excellent action plan too. Look forward to hearing about all the style day results although you all look like super stylish ladies already
Shop fab boots.

My resolutions;
To wear more of the stuff I don't wear or bin (tonight's dress has never been worn, 3yrs old!)
To continue buying stuff I really love, less quantity more quality
Let MNV dress me

Ahhh lib that is the day I'm getting my style done! A double vogue style surprise Grin and what a productive day you've had, well done, I love days like that.

Dry body con dress sounds amazing! I'm wearing black opaques, but then my legs are blue for 11.5 months of the year anyway.

Gorgeous boots shop the leather looks amazing.

Off out soon... and fireworks have started early here! Have a great new year's eve lovely Voguettes :)

shopafrolic · 31/12/2014 17:24

Marsha are you home? Where are you celebrating tonight (sorry if already mentioned)

maradesbois · 31/12/2014 17:33

Just popping in to send my best new year wishes to all you lovely Voguettes. Strong, supportive, encouraging and non-judgemental female friendships are so important and meeting you bunch has really been a highlight of 2014 for me. QueenC count me in for March mu.

Getting ready to go out, typing this in between coats of nail polish. Such a festive atmosphere here, loads of Italians in town who make a really big thing of NYE. We are going to friends' house for a party and will be able to see fireworks from their terrace at midnight. [fizz] is chilling, dc taken care of with lego building competitions and the ubiquitous Frozen-related activities and all is well.

Fedup take care Thanks.

Shop gorgeous boots.

Have a lovely evening all of you. Xxxxxx

shopafrolic · 31/12/2014 17:44

Enjoy your evening Mara sounds fabulous.
I hope to be at the March MU too.

MarshaBrady · 31/12/2014 17:49

Mara sounds perfect, have a great evening. It was lovely to meet you and Bettyk, was there anyone else who came to a mu for the first time this year? Linus? Although that feels like a long time now, internet years are fast.

Shop I'm home with the family too. Glad to have lovely company with a few of you! Thanks We're out this on Saturday, not quite the right day, but near enough.

shopafrolic · 31/12/2014 18:00

I feel gutted I missed meeting you Betty - first MU I'd missed :(
Did you have a good trip? Hope so Marsha. Just showed DH the boots, he is in work mode. I got the meh face. Hmm
May need to post pics for reassurance......

Fedupnagging · 31/12/2014 18:00

Karbea sounds like you have had a tough year. Hope 2015 is heaps better for you.

Shop, lovely boots.

Gorgeous bag Cranagh, love the style and colour.

Lib wow, you have been very decisive today. Am mega impressed.

Dry, sounds like it's going to fun in your house tonight.

Am v sad that I can't make the meet up but will be in London so if you're nearby I could maybe pop in.

Off to friends later and amazingly ds2&3 both want to join us. Ds2 is refusing to drive as he wants a drink so looks like we're walking. 18yrs we've been driving him around, you'd think he could lay off the grog....

Anyway, have a lovely evening everyone. I too have loved being part of MNV. So friendly, non judgemental and supportive. [fizz] for you all.

shopafrolic · 31/12/2014 18:04

shopafrolic · 31/12/2014 18:05

Have a lovely evening Fedup - hope you're doing ok. Hilarious about DS2 not driving but if you'd have asked me to do the same at 18 I know what my response on NYE would have been Grin

Karbea · 31/12/2014 18:11

fedup yes it has! hopefully 2015 will be better, I imagine it'll still be challenging but I need to focus on clothes positives!

MarshaBrady · 31/12/2014 18:15

Yep trip was good, although I can't believe how expensive it all is. I know, but for a few days! Was lovely to see my niece though and the dc loved seeing their cousin. She is very cute.
