I'm sure you can think of other ways to ahem blow off some steam Grin

Drywhiteplease · 21/11/2014 16:33

Everyone you're all v nice to say I should do a blog, but I'd be so roasted, can you imagine.......and it's not all perfect here, just like making things prepares to feed dcs same dinner as last night and left over cake

Cartoon a heather shade on the feature wall, a paler tone for rest, high lights of black berry.....all brought together in the curtain fabric linen embroidered with flowers, interlined

Out for tapas with the girls tonight.

Prosecco chilling for the stay at home MU...think I'll be joining the party about 9pm with kit royale.

shopafrolic · 21/11/2014 16:43

MarshaBrady · 21/11/2014 16:51

Linus you sewer dh made me double take Grin

MarshaBrady · 21/11/2014 16:58

So true about HN, back in those Ab Fab days. And I don't think I've actually been in Fenwicks.

LinusDKD · 21/11/2014 17:04

Sewer as in a person sewing, not a drain related sewer marsha lol!

Yes, didn't Kit Royale have a sell out show in Vegas shop Wink

MarshaBrady · 21/11/2014 17:06

BrandyAlexander · 21/11/2014 17:55

MarshaBrady · 21/11/2014 17:57

MarshaBrady · 21/11/2014 17:58

shopafrolic · 21/11/2014 18:06

Tights are such a PITA. I always forget to get them :(

shopafrolic · 21/11/2014 18:07

You can tell Novice doesn't fly EasyJet! Grin

shopafrolic · 21/11/2014 18:08

G&T for me too. Not that I've flown long haul for years

MarshaBrady · 21/11/2014 18:09

I find it works very well at 33000 feet (or whatever it is). I go a bit hazy.

cartoontrickster · 21/11/2014 18:25

dry sounds gorgeous!
i love a kir royale its my favourite!
I'm trying to decide to to pack for a long weekend at the pils, i hate packing!

maradesbois · 21/11/2014 18:25

I thought drain sewer at first too Linus Grin.

Marsha tights buying is a chore. I got 2 pairs yesterday, £50, ouch. May wear aubin & wills playsuit on sat so needed thick opaques, got a pair of wolford 80 denier.

Champagne for plane drink if flying long haul/business. Water or tea if easyjet which it is 80, nay 90 percent of the time.

maradesbois · 21/11/2014 18:27

Hate that word playsuit, black shorts with cream silk shirt attached to them!

bettykt · 21/11/2014 18:28

G&T here too with a packet of dry roasted nuts!

Marsha I too read's Linus's dh to be a sewer as in drains, then the penny dropped Grin

Dry I was waiting for someone to come along with a wittier reply than me to Kit Royale, love it!

Have been asked to work some more hours and have realised that I don't have a week's worth of workwear, well I guess I'd better buy some more Wink will link when I've bought some things.

Drywhiteplease · 21/11/2014 18:35

Why is it pissing down and freezing when I want to wear my suede heels and a skimpy top Angry and have to walk from bar to restaurant.....bother

libertychick · 21/11/2014 18:35

G&T for me in the air too - it's the only time I ever drink it.

MarshaBrady · 21/11/2014 18:35

I think I watched 17 movies to Aus and back last time Shock I needed those G&Ts. Also grounded gor four hours in Dubai eurgh, with dc in small space. Sad movies make me cry even more on planes, for some reason, which adds to the look.

Betty good one on work, yes to links

Mara ouch, Wolfords here too. I'll have to go in to town tomorrow. Love the sound of the outfit.

MarshaBrady · 21/11/2014 18:36

Dry damn that rain. I'm the same, heels are suede.

Drywhiteplease · 21/11/2014 18:54

Oh bugger...I'm having an outfit crisis......tops all look wrong, it's raining, managed to get a vest Shock under them though.....I don't know what to WEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LinusDKD · 21/11/2014 18:55

My plane drink is red wine in cattle class and the very few times I've flown business or first it's champagne. Lots of it.

Mr. Sewer has concocted this cocktail for all of us who can't make the MU tomorrow:

In a cocktail shaker put:

1 measure Pasoa (passion fruit liqueur)
1 measure lemon juice
2 measures Tanqueray 10 gin
1/2 passion fruit (optional)
Splash of Angostura Bitters
Crushed ice

Shake well and pour into a cocktail glass and voilà.

He tried to recreate a cocktail we had at the bar of the Four Season's hotel in NYC.

The bar might not be as iconic as the one at The Plaza but the cocktails were a lot better. Actually, I was a bit dissapointed by The Plaza bar as everything looked a bit worn and the cocktails were average.
