Help me ladies. All my going out tops are way too big now and I'm struggling with what to wear tonight. I really don't want to wear a dress - too cold and I haven't time to sort my legs out. Wondering about HL leather trousers, LKB shoe boots (AGAIN), Uniqlo denim shirt with this necklace and probably my Gina clutch in an effort to add a bit of sparkle. Can I make that work?

shop I like the idea of leather with denim. How about some leopard print accessories?

Now I also want to know what santa smells like....

Definitely having a crisis of confidence style wise for nights out. I'm fine in a restaurant but cocktail bars and I have literally nothing other than dresses. I also need to stop spending now till after Christmas so no new going out top links for a while.
Linus I haven't got any leopard print other than leopard print flats - I wish we had a communal wardrobe somewhere - like the iCloud, the MNVCloud - a virtual wardrobe where we could reach in and borrow each others things (and they'd fit regardless of size......)

Oh wow, DH just made me a cocktail with tangerine juice. His own concoction so I don't really know what's in it but it is delicious.

I once tried Chanel Gardenia in their shops and loved it but I've never tried Beige. I will have to give it a try.

Shop that virtual wardrobe idea would only work from my side if people liked character tees and animal onesies

Been to my appointment, have to go for an ultrasound on my wrist. I even got to look at my x-rays which was pretty cool, I could see where I've had breaks in my wrist, it showed 3 distinct breaks, all of which have happened at different times but I only know of two of those times so at some point I've been walking around with a broken wrist and didn't even know it!!

Linus can you DH start doing a cocktail recipe a week for us (or a month). I like the idea of a MNV cocktail that we all sit and try whilst watching Strictly. He'd have to give us the ingredients list in advance as my drinks cabinet just has lots of Gin and Vodka

Shop my favourite drink used to be sweet vermouth/martini and chambord mixed in a martini glass. it was deceptive, very sweet but it was easy to drink a few too many. Would mix with lemonade for those who wanted a longer drink

Hi all, first time post on this thread. Just opened it for the first time and apologies, but I'm going to reference something from page 1! Only a few days ago though. amber you said you were wearing a great fur coat from warehouse. Is it this seasons? I've just received this seasons grey fur coat ordered earlier in the week, and whilst I love it, I'm wondering if it's a bit (too) shiny. If you have the same one, what do you think? Thanks

Dry I'm not sure! I'll let you know when they turn up. Hoping they are flat, deep dark indigo though with a decent rise. A friend had really, really dark indigo on the other day, should have asked where they were from.

What a day - check engine light came on in the car. I thought 'here we go' and took it to the garage expecting a huge bill. Actually was nothing and they sorted for free. I left the garage thinking 'knowing my luck I'll have an accident now' - not ONE MINUTE later I got rear ended. FFS. Anyway, have a case of mild whiplash but otherwise fine, just glad the kids were at school.

Hi littlemoocow - yes I have the grey warehouse fur. I LOVE it. I don't find it too shiny, but I do like my furs to look plush. I've worn it loads already! Goes with everything.

betty is right, guilty as charged - just getting ready to go out. Now, what to wear - am already half an hour late!

7 adults, 7 children. Have gone bonkers making soup! Another variation on Mom's fusion dinner tomorrow and found an incredible deal on prosecco so my garage fridge is full. Have made all beds and cleaned bathrooms. Think I'm ready.
