They had some F&B on the Outnet today Marsha, did you see?

Thanks shop I checked all those sites (hadn't heard of Trilogy!) and no Virtuals. Linus that's v sweet of you, I will pm you Flowers

Marsha I did see that about the competition :) the closing date is in January, so once I finish the November challenge I should have lots of time to write up/tinker with the first 8000 words (I hand write everything). I just did a bit at lunch, but am quite happy with how it's going so far - did about 6k at the weekend. Weekday momentum is going to be harder!

Did an asos order last night, River Island going out top and Asos shoes, potential wedding shoes if they are comfy enough. I either want "good enough for 1 day" or "perfect and expensive" Grin

MarshaBrady · 03/11/2014 14:34

Blair I did, and I had to exercise control not to put some in the basket with the skinnies! I'd love some, but they are very close to the grey pistols so I am trying to be very good.

MarshaBrady · 03/11/2014 14:35

6k at the weekend is impressive btw!

MarshaBrady · 03/11/2014 15:54

If you order something on premier it stays there unless you change back. Skinnies here tonight, whoops.

Stokey · 03/11/2014 17:35

Just catching up after a weekend in the country, gorgeous weather and beautiful countryside at MILs house, mucnhing apples form the garden while walking down the drive, bliss.

Happy Birthday QueenC fab bag, and happy birthday for tomorrow Shop.

Am very impressed by your novel writing Blair. I should do something similar whilst unemployed (first day off work today) but struggle to get motivated

I've been thinking about buying flats for ages but feel the time has slightly passed - maybe it's best to wait for the sales now and get some loafers ready for spring?

Loved the fur coat too Mom

LinusDKD · 03/11/2014 19:36

Evening!

blair I've sent you a pm.

marsha love those skinnies. Maybe high rise is something I need to try as well?

I have decided to wait a bit before investing in a pair of leather leggings. Just until I am happy with my weight. Weightloss has been very slow these last few months but I am 1kg away from my second target weight (my weight on my wedding day) but I am considering losing a few kilo extra so that I am back to my pre-university weight before consuming beer and junk food the size of Luxemburg's GDP

I will keep on the lookout for pleather leggings though

shopafrolic · 03/11/2014 19:40

DH has just arrived home with a lovely bottle of Chablis. We're having sausages for tea - classy non?
I'm not sure about my outfit today. I am wearing my white GAP shirt, navy Uniqlo cashmere crew neck and linus' Jimmies. I keep catching sight of myself in the mirror and feel as though I should be at work. The shirt looks too formal somehow?
liberty's leather leggings should arrive tomorrow. I think I'm more excited about those than my birthday Grin

BrandyAlexander · 03/11/2014 20:26

Evening! I finally wore my coat today.GrinGrin It was lush! Under/with it were me&em green dress, RB shoeboots, green Prada bag (the one I over paid for) and Elizabeth Cole swaroski bangle. But who cares?!!! The coat was lush!!! Cheered me up as I really had the blues thinking about my busy work week.

shopafrolic · 03/11/2014 20:33

Yay Novice how lovely. :) Outfit underneath sounds fabulous too.

shopafrolic · 03/11/2014 20:36

Dry have the scarves arrived yet?

Fedupnagging · 03/11/2014 20:43

I've never seen The Royal Tenenbaums Blush but still your description Mom made me laugh.

Nice lace top and shoes Blair. Love navy lace. Good luck with your writing - don't know how you find the time!

So these shoes finally arrived today and I LOVE them. Can't wait to wear them. Probably a bit ott for the theatre tomorrow though.

Shop enjoy your Chablis - nice wine goes with anything and I particularly like chardonnay with fish and chips.

libertychick · 03/11/2014 20:47

Sausages and chablis sounds great Shop. I'm really excited about you getting the leggings. Really hope they look amazing on you. I think it's hard to get white shirt under plain jumper right, too easy to look like you are in uniform.

Envy at that coat Novice. It's amazing.

I had my first day off today and spent the whole day studying. Tomorrow there is a meeting I have to cover but plan to make up for it by going shopping Smile

libertychick · 03/11/2014 20:48

Love the shoes Fedup but they really did take an age to arrive Confused. I say wear them tomorrow!

shopafrolic · 03/11/2014 20:50

Thanks Fedup. We had champagne and fish and chips when we moved in here - happy days

OneLittleLady · 03/11/2014 21:00

Gorgeous coat novice and lovely shoes fedup

My shelves, my poor shelves! Going to have to fix a bracket on them and then to the wall to stop the cat pulling them over. Ooohhhh the glamour in the one household!

Drywhiteplease · 03/11/2014 21:10

Shop they arrived today and I sent you a text with loads of CAPITAL LETTERS......totally love them both. As I said IN my TEXT I want YOU to be my STYLIST for EVER! please check that I've texted you and not some random person, could be embarrassingGrin
Chablis and sausages, f and chips and champagne...indeed pure class and I'm not being sarcastic .
I know what you mean about white shirts but I'm sure you rocked the Phoebe look. I just look like a waitress when I wear them Grin

Gutted my Saturday night dinner leather skirt opp has been cancelled. So I've invited friends round here but might be a bit over dressed moi?

2 sleeps until my wardrobes are getting fitted....2 SLEEPS WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP

BrandyAlexander · 03/11/2014 21:11

FedUp I would wear those shoes to the theatre!

Shop, sausages and wine, you can't go wrong what that can you? But oh champers and fish 'n' chips - now you're talking! I think you're outfit sounds like one I would wear on a course at work who the dress code is dress down, so I can see why it seemed too formal. The models always look really relaxed though!

Meant to say One glad you had a good time.

As a complete sidetrack, my house appears to be a refuge for every ladybird in the area.Hmm

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 03/11/2014 21:34

Thanks everyone for the writing encouragement, it all helps! I've just done tonight's quota of 7.5 pages which should be just under 2k words. fedup I don't have any children yet, that's how I find the time Grin wedding to plan? what wedding?

novice I've had a ladybird invasion before, not in this house luckily. Strangely creepy when you see them all in one place, I had to get an exterminator in!

Your weekend sounds lovely Stokey, I hope it doesn't feel too weird not being at work :)

The lovely Linus is sending me some Goldsigns, made my week! About to pm you back btw.

Drywhiteplease · 03/11/2014 21:42

Oh my god Blair I'm so dim! I now realize that you didn't run 8k this weekend....you wrote itGrin thought I'd missed your marathon training as well as wedding plans Grin I'm an idiot

Drywhiteplease · 03/11/2014 21:42

6k that is

Topazandpearl · 03/11/2014 21:53

Love both sausages with wine and champagne with fish and chips!

Hope the damage isn't too hard too hard to fix One and that your cat is forgiven.

Love that coat Novice. I bet ladybirds are lucky Grin and great shoes Fedup.

Enjoy your shopping Liberty.

Happy birthday for tomorrow Shop. I hope the leggings work out. How do you (and anyone else that has it) rate Uniqlo cashmere? I am debating between that and looking for a cashmere/merino mix.

Back to work today - the next month will be particularly busy so I will be hunkering down and getting on with it.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 03/11/2014 21:58

Lol Dry I can very safely say I would rather write 8k, or 6k, than run it!! Grin

BrandyAlexander · 03/11/2014 22:03

Sigh. I very rarely watch TV. But I make an exception for Gareth Malone. Let's hope Mrs M doesn't read S&B. I soooo would in my defence he kind of reminds me of dh.Wink

santamarianovella · 03/11/2014 22:25

I honestly thought that blair ran 6k , thanks for clearing that out dry and that's good news about your wardrobes

I didnt even make it to the store today, I recieved a call from Dd's school, saying that SHe had an accident, the door was shut on her finger , their was so much blood when I got there, Sad Sad one of the teachers offerd to drive me to the nearest emergncy room,as dd was clinging to me and just wanted to be comforted, thank god for that, I didn't trust myself to drive at that time tbh , her finger is not broken, but they had to give her stitches, we spent a total of 5 hours at the hospital, shit always happens when dh is away! I'm beyond exhusted,

OneLittleLady · 03/11/2014 22:31

Oh no, poor DD Santa poor little thing having stitches, hope she's okay Sad
