Oh god am stressing now about getting my money back. What if I send back the boots then they go under? Am going to call them in the morning and try to assess the situation.

Momin I love GP in the Royal Tenenbaums but am a huge Wes Anderson fan plus she has my bag!

Good point Shop I did pay by credit card so hopefully should be covered worst case.

mara don't stress,it's not like they will announce going under or anything, I'm sure they will process your return,

My favourite wes Anderson movie is the Darjeeling limited, I was very close to visit India and do a train trip like the boys did, but my friends put me off!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 02/11/2014 22:13

Fingers crossed mara.

Does anyone know of any stockists of Goldsign Virtual jeans aside from shopbop? Mine are dying a death (the elasticity has gone) and I need another pair. None of the ones on shopbop are quite right, but if there are no other places to get that style I'd compromise and get them. Have looked at selfridges, asos and revolve.

Mominatrix · 02/11/2014 22:17

mara, thanks for the photo. The other reason I'd look like a version of her character is that I have that bag too, and it is my workhorse!

BrandyAlexander · 02/11/2014 22:24

Hello!

Dry, Wine deep breaths hon! Right, so....1) absolutely no dogs. You don't have to explain. If your friends are offended so be it. 2) Awkward. Pull a sickie! 3) you're talking to the person who has the heating on for 6 months of the year. Best I don't advise!

Mara, fingers crossed for you.

Have we heard from One today, did she have a good time?

I am thinking about leather leggings. I am such a bloody sheep!Blush

maradesbois · 02/11/2014 22:30

Haha Momin, not sure what hairstyle you have but the bag plus the coat may be a step too far! Don't use mine everyday, its so heavy. Lives in its box packed away ever since I caught ds using it as part of an obstacle course.

I'm watching Shame on C4. It's going to be properly wrong on every level isn't it? Perhaps I should just go to bed.....

Mominatrix · 02/11/2014 22:56

mara, love that bag so much that I got it is several colours. I'm used to the weight - it's my daily arm workout. Who needs biceps curls when you can do birkin curls!

Sleepwhenidie · 02/11/2014 23:11

Blair is Trilogy any good? I'd also look at Donna Ida and Question Air... Anna used to do them but none on website.

Sleepwhenidie · 02/11/2014 23:12

Dry - no dogs, cry off and bare legs but with subtle fake tan Wink

Sleepwhenidie · 02/11/2014 23:13

And I ordered the grey pistols just before I saw the chat re financial trouble, I hope I like them Grin

OneLittleLady · 03/11/2014 07:06

Novice I did have a good time, I just got tired easily!

Argh, my cat, oh my god my cat. She's pulled the shelf down in my music room/office. there's discs, books and folders everywhere! She did it just as I was getting up. So mad, so mad

LinusDKD · 03/11/2014 07:34

Morning!

Poor you one! We had cats when I was young and they did that kind of thing all the time.

Hope you get your refund mara!

blair what size are you in Virtuals? I have a size 27 that I offered to shop but if she's ok with it maybe you can try them first?

Will try and catch up properly in a minute.

shopafrolic · 03/11/2014 07:42

Linus definitely send them to Blair - my Goldisgn Lures are a 29 so I doubt I would fit in them anyway x
Morning all - back on the school run. Packed lunch made - may even have time to get my make up on if I don't MN for to long :)

AmberNectarine · 03/11/2014 08:37

shop feel free to wear the HL - I have many other dresses to choose from. Or skirts. Or trousers. Ahem.

QueenCardigan · 03/11/2014 09:40

Morning. The school run was a bt of a shock to the system ths morning. I'm going to have a leisurely cup of tea before tackling the housework.
dry if you don't want dogs then say no. You don't want to have them just to be nice and then send the whole weekend stressing that they're. Runny your carpet. The work thing is tricky and I guess depends whether you're best to follow your morals and not go or whether it could be detrimental to you if you refuse. It's definitely poor management though. I would do tights unless you're going to be in a cab and indoors all night.
mara I'm sure your refund will be fine.
blair sounds very exciting about writing a novel. Very impressed.

MarshaBrady · 03/11/2014 09:46

Oh bliss, is that bad?, so nice to have silence! At home, with a coffee.

I can think again. Last week was difficult - but good, work, dc and out all day.

Blair that is exciting! Did you see the competition they have on here somewhere? 8000 words I think. Can't quite remember.

Santa yes, NaP would have strong buying power. And I'm impressed with Matches, except for that latest stuff, as it's managed to build good stock and overall vibe from two shops. And I bet Liberty too as whenever I go in there I usually can't find the links, to UK shops at least. So that's three at least getting first dibs, then the other big stores.

Novice do it, they'd look great on you.

I love that Gwynnie shot. Think she looked great there, in a moody and straight hair.

Momin how about one without so many drapes and folds? Hers is quite ott

MarshaBrady · 03/11/2014 09:47

Mara good luck with your returns, I'm sure it will be fine. So frustrating though. I couldn't sleep one night when austique charged me £600 for one pair of jeans - I didn't keep!

shopafrolic · 03/11/2014 09:59

Love how we're all having a quiet cuppa! DS couldn't wait to get through the doors at school so that was fab. Off to walk the dog in a minute.
Watched Shame last night - very disturbing but amazing acting. One of those movies that makes you feel incredibly uncomfortable but i couldn't switch off.
I have so many nights out planned over the next few weeks and not enough to wear
There are so many things I want to get in Winter colours but I have to be good.

foxysocks · 03/11/2014 11:37

mom I think it's the collar on fur coats which can make them harder to wear. I like the collarless versions personally. did you go to tkmaxx yet? I went on saturday to see if there were HL leather leggings in ours, no joy. got some dark grey j brands though, very happy with them and wore yesterday and today (sign of a good purchase!)

queenc happy birthday we must have wine again soon. love that bag, perfect for you. X

outnet occasionally get goldsigns blair, I got a pale grey pair from them

QueenCardigan · 03/11/2014 12:30

Wine sounds great foxy although it may have to wait till next year.mmy weekends are ridiculously full up between now and Xmas.

I'm actually relstively happy with the contents of my wardrobe at the moment. I've kind of given up on navy boots as I think with dark denim they just don't go. I still need some going out flats though which I'm going to look for tomorrow. Trouble is I have the repetto Mary Janes and the Ysl and mui mui dolly shoes in my mind that nothing else comes close. I've seen some velvet ballet flats but they're possibly not very practical. Theres a hat I love which I'm going to order later and I'd quite like a navy/grey plaid scarf. But nothing else really

shop are you not wearing any of your 'autumn' wardrobe anymore? If not are you selling it to fund a new 'winter' one?

santamarianovella · 03/11/2014 12:55

No work for me today, went to the gym, had lunch and a cup of coffee in my new favourite coffee place, and will check the store that stocks VB shortly, bliss!
shop I have a major crush on Michael fassbender, but watching shame made me feel very uncomfortable, it was like watching someone's personal life and that you shouldn't be watching it, it felt like intrusion, the ending was really heartbreaking, it's like he doesn't feel pleasure anymore, just pain,

Why not wait for sales? Matches sends out their codes in a few weeks,

shopafrolic · 03/11/2014 13:16

Oh Santa I know what you mean - when he went even further off the rails on that massive session it was so painful to watch. Yes - need to wait for the sales. And sell a lot of things too.
QueenC I know there is nothing wrong with my old wardrobe but now I can see that I'm a Winter I'm finding it really hard to wear my old Autumn colours. I think I will end up selling most of it and using the money to fund Winter colour purchases. Such a shame as I will have made a huge loss £££ wise......

MarshaBrady · 03/11/2014 13:30

He's cool isn't he. And looks good. But Shame is very raw, and he's so angular and anguished. A very good actor.

Matches in a few weeks?? Excellent.

I just ordered these Rag&Bone skinnies, as I really want to try high rise.

Glad I didn't get the F&B boots that I have wanted for ages, given the info about Matches.
