one: sympathies regarding the hair. To have such a large percentage lobbed of is quite a shock - similar happened to me earlier this year due to a very bad cut, so I really can empathise. Still growing out, but I took the opportunity to do something funky to make it less middle-aged woman (i had a very choppy bob-ish thing done to my hair with long layers and that flicked out at the ends even when air-dried. Gave me a more hip, youngish look, and my DB who is one of those hip designer types, LOVED it and said it actually made me look younger.
liberty: Love the skirt, and although normally I prefer natural fabrics, I'd rather have pleather in a white skirt style. I'd style it as it is shown in their cookbook, or with a grey or black roll neck. Black opaques and with stiletto ankle boots. In this weather, I'd skip the tights and wear stiletto courts. Might have to check it out - I'd have to have it taken just above the knee because of my (lack of)height.
linus: those leiderhosen
. Um perhaps for Octoberfest (really clutching straws)? However, Alexa Chung could probably wear those with clunky flats , and baggy jumper on top, tights under, and look amazing.
sleep: hope you had a great evening. Love your outfit. Also home DS is better. The only good thing about tummy bugs is that they tend to not last very long. The horrible thing about tummy bugs is that they are quite catchy - meaning I always pick them up from DC.
dry have a lovely holiday!
mara love your outfit from yesterday too.
santa did you have any insurance on your phone (credit cards often have insurance on them)? How irritating!
Quiet morning with no kids. I'm going to take pup for a long walk by the river and check out a new farmers market. Going to meet friends for lunch, then get the kids back. Nothing too fashionable today - Lululemon yoga cover-up trousers, thin stripy black-and white v neck cashmere, biker leather jacket and converse.
Someone asked about Pup - she is a gorgeous 7 month old black wavy-coated cockapoo. Sweet, but has a taste (literally) for nice shoes.
If anyone likes Rupert Sanderson shoes, there is 20% off until Halloween with the code "TreatForFeet" - took the opportunity to restock on these as Pup ate a previous pair. Told you she had good taste!
