Have fun dry and blair

And mara your outfit sounds great.

one that is a lot of hair to be cut off in one go. Sad

liberty I think white pleather is tricky to wear in winter because, as you say, I would have no idea what kind of tights to wear with it.

Ok, will have a look at leather leggings. Shame the Outnet don't do free p&p and returns as I have seen a couple I like but I really need to try them on.

If anyone sees some nice ones online let me know!

LinusDKD · 24/10/2014 19:36

Oh and should I go for real leather or pleather?

Sleepwhenidie · 24/10/2014 19:37

Hi all, just getting ready for a night out in Soho, dinner with friends, wearing j brand photo readys, r&b blazer, black t and sparkly Lucy Choi's. Really looking forward to it as I've been stuck on all week with poorly ds1, his turn with the tummy bug and it really knocked him for 6, on his half term as well, poor kid. I kept finding him lying on the floor in hallways as he said he felt too weak and wobbly to walk Sad. Much better today thank goodness.

Sorry to hear about your phone Santa and your hair One Shock.

Sleepwhenidie · 24/10/2014 19:37

On....in!!

Sleepwhenidie · 24/10/2014 19:39

Oh and Lib I bought a laser cut cream leather skirt from Zara last year, it was really nice, but went back - as you said, just too difficult to style, I think if you have very dark skin then much easier.

Karbea · 24/10/2014 19:45

linus I'm really interested in what everyone thinks re leather vs pleather as they are on my wish list too.

I've a brown zara leather skirt and a cream leather skirt, both of which I've never worn!

OneLittleLady · 24/10/2014 19:54

sleep outfit sounds fab but poor Ds, tummy bugs are rotten. Hope he's feeling a little better now

I am so gutted about my hair, I've been growing it for ages and now over half of it is gone. My only consolation is that it looks a little like Shirley Manson of Garbage fames did in the 90's

LinusDKD · 24/10/2014 19:56

sleep your outfit sounds great, have fun.

Tummy bugs are the worst, I felt so sorry for DS when he had it last month.

LinusDKD · 24/10/2014 19:59

whilst looking for leather leggings I came across this

Now how would one style that? Grin

MarshaBrady · 24/10/2014 20:02

Linus! Grin

Karbea · 24/10/2014 20:05

linus with this ;)

LinusDKD · 24/10/2014 20:11

Now this is better....

santamarianovella · 24/10/2014 20:28

So sorry to hear that sleep, Sad, tummy bugs are just horrible, DSS had it so bad a couple of years ago, he had to be hospitalised .
Fab outfit as always, enjoy your evening,

fedup, I'm in my nike sweats, and hoodie too,on sofa waiting for dh to come home, for our house of cards marathon, only 3 episodes left, don't know what else I will do when its over!,

Enjoy your evening mara,

dry, I'm always the last to pack, never was organised when it comes to travelling or packing,

linus Grin,

I haven't tried pleather,so can't comment on them , but the leather ones I have are so good, very easy to wear, and you dont feel hot or sweaty in them,I wanted to get the exact leggings I had by malene birger, but this year the did one with horizontal stitching, right across the knees, which I found off putting,so settled for another pair, which I'm so in love with,

so like leather skirts, you need to spend £££ to get a decent one, shame you didn't try some in NY,

LinusDKD · 24/10/2014 20:35

Are these the ones you have santa?

I really like them.

DS was also hospitalised last year after a tummy bug left him severely dehydrated so I am very worried every time he gets ill with d&v again.

QueenCardigan · 24/10/2014 20:44

Poor sleepjunior. Our school has had a bad tummy bug doing the rounds but luckily the dc seem to have escaped it. Have a fab night.

santa that's rubbish about your phone.

linus I reckon you could do leather leggings styled in a classic way. Depends how much you think you'd wear them to as whether it's worth paying for leather I guess.

dry do you just pack for yourself? Do dc do themselves. I can do my stuff pretty quickly but it's the kids stuff that takes forever.

Whenever I think of leather trousers though unfortunately I always think of that friends episode with Ross and the talcum powder!

fedup talk to me about dresses that suit you...structure/neckline etc....still need to style you. Not sure the wedding pin board will be ready by Sunday.

libertychick · 24/10/2014 20:53

Poor DS Sleep sounds horrible. This is the Zara skirt I dithered over today. The fit of it was so good (a rarity in Zara IME) but too hard to style.

Right going back to catch up properly....

Drywhiteplease · 24/10/2014 20:58

That's normally what I'm like karbea , it's been a busy week, but Aldo goes to show you ca pack for yourself only in half an hour!

santamarianovella · 24/10/2014 20:59

Linus No,they are not, but I think these are the ones I've tried but didnt like the stiching,
Ive tried on so many pairs and finally got one from a store here , German clothing brand, they are amazing,

queen yes, I always think of Ross and his leather trousers Grin,

liberty, I can't see the link, but someone here posted a picture of her wearing a beautiful pleather midi skirt from Zara, it looked amazing on her,

libertychick · 24/10/2014 21:00

And I bought this sweater in stone. It has a lot of acrylic, a lot of nylon and a teeny, tiny bit of wool!! But it feels so soft and looks great on suspect it will be a ball of static after the first wash

Drywhiteplease · 24/10/2014 21:06

QueenC mine are teens. I get them to lay out all their stuff on their beds and just check it and put it in their bags. They're pretty good at folding now so it's easy. I get DH to do the same so I can veto the crapGrin

libertychick · 24/10/2014 21:06

Santa I think sansucre posted a pic in a fab white pleather Zara skirt. Here's a pin of the Zara one and a link to my new sweater - I often find that links to Zara and Mango don't work.

Sweater
Skirt

Karbea · 24/10/2014 21:12

Dh did some washing today and washed a max mara jumper of mine. It's shrunk, but it is so tiny, it was so funny I couldn't be angry with him.

santamarianovella · 24/10/2014 21:21

yes! That's her liberty, loved how she styled it,
The one you linked is beautiful, but I don't think it will survive it's first day out!

LinusDKD · 24/10/2014 21:29

Yes sansucre styled her skirt brilliantly. I tried hers (more flared than pencil) but didn't think it suited me.

Oooh which German brand santa? I might find it in the shops here.

karbea DH did that a long time ago. I was not amused ...

LinusDKD · 24/10/2014 21:31

Yay, my Rails shirt has been shipped! Love Shopbop!
