And i might have another try on session with the pleather skirt. :)

LinusDKD · 25/10/2014 18:54

I am staying in as well tonight now there's a surprise

I'm already in my pj's and hoody, open fire is crackling away, glass of Wine in my hand and SCD on the telly. Rock and Roll, people! Rock and Roll!

betty have a great time, your outfit sounds fab.

libertychick · 25/10/2014 18:59

Very jealous of your open fire Linus. We just ordered a new fireplace today but fake log effect. Would love a real one. I'm in for the night too. Will get DD to bed soon and then get PJ's on. Have wine and cheesecake - yum.

MarshaBrady · 25/10/2014 19:01

Liberty that sounds perfect.

You too Linus!

The dc are actually away at the GPs so dh and I are home alone. We could be out babysitter free, but sometimes it's just nice to be home without the bed time routine.

Topazandpearl · 25/10/2014 19:13

Another one having a night in, after a big night out last night (wearing my new Bella dress which got compliments). After the excitement of DS's graduation and last night, I'm glad of a recovery day before we head off on holiday tomorrow.
It's curry, wine and TV here. Hope everyone, in or out, is having a lovely time.

Karbea · 25/10/2014 19:20

I'm in too!

linus I'm very jealous of your open fire, I used to have one in a previous house and really miss it. liberty ours is faux charcoal, they are nice but not the same. In fact I hate our fire, but that's another story.

santamarianovella · 25/10/2014 19:49

Night In for me too,
We are about to watch the book thief, it's my turn to pick a movie tonight just hope DH doesn't find it boring,
No open fire here Sad, we had one in our living room and bedroom back home,

Enjoy your night out betty

karbea I'm Grin at your pets,

LinusDKD · 25/10/2014 20:14

santa DH has just started watching 22 Bullets with Jean Reno. Hmm

Something tells me this will not be my kind of film.

Mominatrix · 25/10/2014 20:31

Hello Ladies! Night in for me, too. Had the neighbour's children over for the afternoon and supper. DS1 is over there now for a sleepover, and DS2 is tucked in bed. Im in PJs, fleecy robe and (whispers) Uggs, and am looking forward to renting something on apple TV. Any suggestions?

Sleepwhenidie · 25/10/2014 20:34

Quiet night for me too, DH has gone up to Birmingham to meet his mate and watch Flyte play. Just putting DC's to bed, a bit later than normal in the vague hope they will sleep a bit later with the clocks going back Hmm.

I'm getting a bit worried about DS1, he seemed to be recovering yesterday but has been awful again today, barely moved from the sofa. He's had a high temp (39-40deg) for six days now and has barely eaten in that time Sad.

Fedupnagging · 25/10/2014 20:39

Phew! Visitors have just departed so now am about to watch SCD with yet more wine.

Queen, I need a dress that disguises a tummy! No other criteria really.

Bettyk enjoy your evening - DVF dress and leopard print heels sound fab. Although I work in a school, am not a teacher. too much like hard work!

Mom loved the oversized jumpers you linked esp the Zara one although would need a different colour. Actually, the Zara jumper in the whistles colourway would be perfect.

Topaz have a lovely holiday.

Santa I loved the book so hope the film is just as good. Did you finish House of Cards? We are on series2 ep3. I love it.

Mominatrix · 25/10/2014 20:40

6 days? That is worrisome Sleep. Not eating is not ideal, but how is his fluid intake? Keep feeing lots of tepid honey water. Is there any D&V?

OneLittleLady · 25/10/2014 20:47

Oh, poor Ds Sleep I think at this point, with him not eating, I would consider going to the gps. it must be so worrying and it is awful to see your children ill. I hope he recovers soon and that you are looking after yourself too Thanks

betty I think I can live with my hair for now, after all, it will grow back. it was just a huge shock to see just how much had to be cut off to get it looking anywhere near decent again. Dp says he likes it though and I've been browsing pinterest for styling ideas so i can make it work for me. I am just thankful it didn't all drop out!

Sleepwhenidie · 25/10/2014 20:58

It's a weird bug Mom, DMIL had it first, then DD, then me, both of us for about 5 days, temperature, nausea, stomach cramps and a cold, I had a strange ache in my back and hip, as if I'd pulled a muscle, exactly the same as DMIL described. No D&V, we have all felt like we want to eat but after a few bites can't manage more. I think you are right one, GP on Monday if he's still no better. He is drinking.

QueenCardigan · 25/10/2014 21:06

Hello all. Just catching up quickly. I'm here up north with in laws. Lovely cottage so should be a good week hopefully.

I'll reveal the wedding outfits next week on blairs return which will give me time to work on it this week.

We've often considered a pup but it just seems like too much hard work. 2 cats keep me busy enough.

BrandyAlexander · 25/10/2014 21:09

Hello all! Definitely think GP on Monday is a good idea Sleep. Poor thing.

OneLittleLady · 25/10/2014 21:11

Hope you have a lovely time QueenC

The great wardrobe clearout was a success, i filled one bin bag with stuff that's no good and then FOUR huge sacks of stuff to send to the charity shop!

Fedupnagging · 25/10/2014 21:18

That doesn't sound good Sleep - there is a particularly nasty sick bug doing the rounds at work which seems to last a good week. Hope your ds recovers soon.

Hope you manage to enjoy your time away Queen

Mom your last few days with your dc's sounds positively exhausting!

AmberNectarine · 25/10/2014 21:41

Even I'm in tonight. Worry not though Voguettes, I am out tomorrow night and Monday. Went shopping with DD and my mum today. Nothing very exciting to report - picked up a navy shirt from the IDLF collection at Uniqlo, otherwise no purchases for me. Bought DH some PJs from the David Gandy for Autograph collection. I think some subconscious part of my brain is hoping they will give him DG's body... They do feel nice though. DD conned me into buying her a Frozen helium balloon (FIVE ENGLISH POUNDS), a new doll and some art stuff. She did say what a nice treat it had been to have a 'girls day' though.

Sorry to hear your DS is still poorly sleep, I really hope he's on the mend tomorrow.

That must feel really satisfying one, I need to do similar, though I did my shoes the other week.

OneLittleLady · 25/10/2014 22:15

it was kinda satisfying tbh Amber there was a lot of stuff lurking that i should never have bought and as eclectic as my style is, they really never fit in with the general feel of it, IYKWIM?

santamarianovella · 25/10/2014 22:59

sleep hope ds gets well soon, poor thing,

fedup we've just finished the movie, its a tear jerker for sure, the boy who plays rudy is amazing, you instantly like him,god how I cried at the bombing of their street,Sad Sad all he wanted was a kiss from Liesel Sad ,

We still have a couple of episodes left of house of cards, will try to finish them tomorrow.

OneLittleLady · 25/10/2014 23:05

Oh, I forgot. the Hobbs dress I bought the other day that fits beautifully? a size 12!! I do know and have found myself that Hobb's sizing is on the more generous side and though the dress has some stretch to it, it doesn't have enough to make certain of me wearing a twelve if I was too much bigger, if that makes any sense at all?

Drywhiteplease · 25/10/2014 23:46

Sleep that sounds like a nasty bug. Get to GP just to check.

What is wrong with people?Sad I'm on holiday in the Highlands, in the most breathtaking countryside with people I dearly love in a beautiful house with games, good food, wine, books and fires Smile. But why do I get comments on FB like "have you seen the forecast ?" And texts like " hope you've brought waterproofs" Sad..... My glass is literally and metaphorically permanently half full, why are people such drains? It SCOTLAND and it's AUTUMN I'm not expecting to wear my bikini and jump in a Loch!!!!!!!!!!!!Angry

OneLittleLady · 25/10/2014 23:47

Some people are just so...pessimistic Dry they see the bad in everything. Ignore them and have a fabulous time

libertychick · 26/10/2014 00:17

:) at Dry. Its just the national hobby. I have to admit when I saw the forecast tonight I said to DH 'oh dear Dry is up there' Blush. For a laugh you should put a pic on face book of all of you in your swim gear looking out the window looking shocked at the rain.

Sleep really hope DS is on the mend soon. Sounds like a horrible bug.
