I think Olivia Palermo wore those for her wedding Amber they are the ones Carrie wore in SATC aren't they?
And I thought someone on here said they had them as well but I can't remember who!

Waiting for this to sell out as I can't afford it this month :(

Stokey · 23/10/2014 10:44

Love the colour of that jacket Blair and your dress is stunning. Coast are kind of obvious choice for bridesmaid dresses. I was a bridesmaid for a spring wedding a few years ago and we got some lovely cobalt maxis from there in the post Christmas sale.

Fab grey jumper too Linus

Have stalled a bit on the job search Liberty . Am feeling a little stretched with finishing work next week and half-term and DD1's birthday the week after. I've promised myself that I'll devote at least 2 mornings a week to job hunting once I'm not working and the rest to shopping

And sadly I've got a 40th the night of the MU so will miss meeting you lovely ladies again. Its a 70s theme so I need to get the platforms out.

The Guardian fashion journalist has caught up on our lumberjack talk Wink . They attribute it to Alexa Chung but we obviously know it's MNV!

shopafrolic · 23/10/2014 12:11

Quick question to all you London ladies if I may? Any suggestions for somewhere good to eat with kids aged 3 - 13 in Covent Garden?

Karbea · 23/10/2014 12:55

The shoes are beautiful!

libertychick · 23/10/2014 12:57

Sophie's steakhouse is our favourite shop here

Sorry, late reply, you have probably found somewhere by now.

santamarianovella · 23/10/2014 13:49

Missed the live reveal Sad, ,novice gorgeous, gorgeous bag, the colour is very versitial,

linus love the skirt,I really need one, but its like each one I see or try has a fault, too long or too short, shapeless or too fitted, fabrics is wrong...fussy much?

shop hope you found somewhere nice, with kids ,ifind places like shake shack or fire and stone pizzeria are always good, and for treats bens cookies its yuuuuuummmmy!

bettykt · 23/10/2014 17:19

Aw thank you for the reassurances [thank you] You all seem great here so am looking forward to meeting you irl.

Mom you are right about Cos, on line their clothes look a bit shapeless but they look so much better in store, wish I'd bought this cardi which is so much nicer in real life, it looks quite dreary here.

Just bought this top for work and this plaid scarf great price for 100% wool and even better BRHAPPY25 gives you 25% off until midnight tonight plus I go through Quidco and get another 10% off cheapskate Grin

libertychick · 23/10/2014 18:53

Lovely scarf Betty.

libertychick · 23/10/2014 19:03

Dry was today OK?

BrandyAlexander · 23/10/2014 21:00

Hello everyone! I used my lovely bag today (Mominatrix it's cashmere grey). Absolutely loved it.Smile Also wore lk bennett ariella dress in navy which was a bit of s uniform last autumn before I ditched them for the Me&Em dresses.

Absolutely love the Manolos that Amber linked!

Drywhiteplease · 23/10/2014 22:52

Calmer thanks liberty.

Momentous news...I'm in the East wing! In my bed. With crap wi Fi so I keep having to go back to my old bedroom to open links No blinds, no wardrobes and random furniture all over the place. But it's lovely.

Have not packed for our holiday tomorrow.Shock

Fabulous wedding shoes Amber

OneLittleLady · 23/10/2014 23:24

Reading week begins! I am a most studious student as I have taken out four, yes four, books from the library to read over the next week.

Excellent news apart from about the wifi dry

shopafrolic · 24/10/2014 07:46

Morning all. How's everyone doing? Lovely afternoon in London yesterday. Wore Goldsign Lures, Pistols and my Lulu Uniqlo sweatshirt. Bright red lipstick, Zara check scarf and GAP leather bomber.
DS LOVED the train and the underground much to the amusement of all the miserable commuters. He was a bit overwhelmed by the volume of people and traffic so we didn't do too much when we got to Covent Garden. I took him for cake at Tuttons, and we went to the transport Museum shop and bought him a toy underground train which he went to bed with. Then we met my SIL and nieces, who had been shopping in Liberty and around Oxford and Regent St. Had a lovely dinner (in Carluccios in the end), DH joined us and then we all came home together. DS is still asleep :)
My DSiL picked me up a navy cashmere sweater and a cashmere scarf in Uniqlo.
Dry glad the East wing is ready for you! :)

QueenCardigan · 24/10/2014 07:57

Morning. No school. Hurrah. I can lie on the sofa nursing my hangover Grin.

fedup I wore the bobbi brown last night so thank you Thanks.
dry where are you off to? We're going away tomorrow and I still have loads of washing to get done before I pack.

LinusDKD · 24/10/2014 08:14

Morning!

dry sounds like things arecalming down a bit.

shop glad you had a great day yesterday. DS loves going on trains and buses and is always excited when we do.

Lovely scarf betty. I love a bit of plaid so might have ordered another plaid shirt from Rails. Blush. They are just so soft and drape well but are not dry clean so I can wear them on a daily basis (unlike my silk Equipment shirts)

Today I am wearing my black H&M midi skirt, black opaques, black Uniqlo merino jumper and black Jalouses. Anyone see a theme here? Grin

bettykt · 24/10/2014 08:28

Just took a look at that website Linus I'm not really a plaid shirt wearer but those shirts are among the nicest ones I've seen and could turn me. I particularly liked the dress. I love the sound of your outfit today super elegant and tres chic.

It's raining here and start of half term so am still lounging about in pjs. DC been up since 4.30am. Dh made the fateful mistake of letting them sleep in the same room. Grrr

shopafrolic · 24/10/2014 08:41

There seems to be a huge price variance between Harvey Nics and other websites selling Rails shirts. £135 on HN, £80 ish on Revolve? are these legit?

LinusDKD · 24/10/2014 08:45

I think have bought from Revolve before and they are legit as far as I know.

I bought mine from Shopbop today and the price was virtually the same as on Revolve. UK prices do seem to be mad though as I had a look on Feather&Stitch (?) and the same shirt was waaaay more expensive.

LinusDKD · 24/10/2014 08:47

Oh and they are not cotton but rayon if anyone doesn't like that fabric. I don't mind as they feel supersoft. Haven't washed mine yet though...

OneLittleLady · 24/10/2014 10:36

Argh....my Dsis tried to unsuccessfully perm my hair last night. It did NOT work and now my hair feels awful. Must wash and deep condition. Tbf, it needed a trim anyway so I won't really be losing much by going for the trim i should have gone for weeks ago!

santamarianovella · 24/10/2014 10:36

Morning,
shop ,sounds like you, had a great time, dd just loves trains, and whenever we take the euro star she goes into train mood and just sits and looks out the window untill she falls a sleep,i used to really enjoy those trips as they were always so peaceful,Grin,

I've ordered from revolve before, but I really rate shopbop as better, you get better deals and sales on shopbop, revolve hardly do any sales at all,

Mominatrix · 24/10/2014 10:59

Morning Everyone!

One: I miss being a student. As soon as I have parked DS2, I am going to go back to school for a Masters to do something practical with my medical background, Sorry about the bad perm. Sounds like something for the professions to fix? I'd be livid with DSIL

betty: 4:30am?!?!? Well, they might have an early night tonight?

Linus: sounds like my kind of colour combo. Also, in terms of silk, I have never had a problem washing them on the gentle cycle of the washing machine - even Hermes scarves.

Queen: commiserations, but sounds like you had a fun night. Nothing a good fry up won't cure!

shop: sounds like a lovely day. Central London can be a bit of a hustle-bustle for young ones, but it will be a lovely memory for him. Very nice of SIL - the only thing sends my way are insults. Ah well.

stokey: good luck on the job hunt. I'm petrified of the time I'll have to dip my toes out there! 70s sounds fun, but you'll me missed at the MU.

novice: fantastic sounding outfit yesterday, and cashmere grey - even the name is lovely.

Yesterday was another day devoted to schlepping DSs and friends about - this time to a skateboard park. My solace was in wearing something fun - Vanessa Bruno very pale pink crepe mini, Vanessa Bruno oversized light grey roll neck jumper, my new Church's brogues, and black Chanel tote.

Today, Friday night Fives for DS, then dinner with the team after, then kids taken off my hands to sleepovers. Yeah! Think I'll wear black leather leggings, same jumper as yesterday, grey converse, and olive green cross body bag.

Have a lovely day everyone!

OneLittleLady · 24/10/2014 11:16

mom I'm not mad, it's my own fault for letting her do it! Nopw my hairs been washed and deep conditioned, it's come through okay, it was just very very dry after the 'treatment' . what kind of masters are you looking at? yesterdays outfit sounds lovely btw

The great wardrobe clearout of '14 begins this afternoon! Going to start small with one drawer at a time, I know there are going to be bags and bags of stuff as the drawers are rammed to the point that they barely closed and my wardrobe and hanging rails are so full I can't get anything else in them Blush

LinusDKD · 24/10/2014 11:34

one Thank God your hair seems to have recovered! I let no one touch my hair apart from professionals and even they get it wrong sometimes. Which reminds me, I urgently need a haircut.

Oh and I need to do a wardrobe clear out as well. I just really hate doing it.

momin both those outfits sound great. I would love some leather leggings. I saw some at Rag&Bone in Greenwhich Village but was too scared to try them on as I'm not really a rock chick.

santamarianovella · 24/10/2014 12:01

linus I can see you in leather, they can look very chic worn with cashmere or silk shirts, give it a try,
dry , can't believe I've missed it, yay! That's great. Would love to see pics when it's all completed,
