Think I'm more undecided than jittery...thanks Santa Smile

Drywhiteplease · 30/09/2014 22:36

Stunning gowns Sleep....loads for Blair

OneLittleLady · 30/09/2014 22:40

I'm loving uni blair i am so hungry to learn, desperate in fact. I'm very proud of myself for not giving up when I was knocked back and turned down last year. The old me would have sulked and given up but not anymore!

Beautiful bridal collection sleep

shopafrolic · 01/10/2014 08:03

I've been sucked in by bloggers and have ordered the NEXT leather look leggings which everyone is saying good things about. I really want the real thing but cannot afford them so I thought I'd see how much wear these get and then can always upgrade. They are on a 4 week backorder - should be here in time for my birthday Hmm
DH ended the quarter with his best sales result ever so it looks like we're going to Club next year! Woop!

Fedupnagging · 01/10/2014 08:25

Morning all

Mara hope you are having a relaxing time. Glad you got there in the end and loved the sound of your outfit.

Sleep that cardigan looks so soft and warm and very wearable. Was it you who purchased the barefoot contessa book? Love watching her and her food. Will be waiting for a cookery book review from you Grin

Love the Jenny Packham dresses and a great mix of models too.

Topaz how frustrating the dress was oos in your size.

Novice think you will be exhausted today; bet you looked fab in the Armani though.

Shop I have been looking at those leggings but have obviously dithered too much as it sounds like they will go oos v. soon.

No fashion news here. Feeling a bit meh about clothes atm and can't seem to make a decision. Don't know about anyone else but I don't really want to wear summer clothes but am way too hot in winter clothes.

Dry you have some lovely clothes so am sure you will find something for Friday. What about the leather skirt?

shopafrolic · 01/10/2014 09:09

Know what you mean about being too hot Fedup but the cold weather (and wet) is due this weekend :(
My GAP shirt has a huge tear in it at the seam near the cuff. All I have done is roll the sleeves up - not impressed.

Sleepwhenidie · 01/10/2014 09:59

I am off to v&a with my gorgeous bf today - so happy she is back here after 6yrs ex-patting Smile. I am wearing pink/grey snakey jeans, black t, r&b blazer, biker boots, grey Falabella.(brolly in bag Hmm)

QueenCardigan · 01/10/2014 10:01

Take it back shop. I've just realised that apart from ambers blog and the occasional look at susie so so as she's my fave, I haven't actually looked at any for about a month. I really haven't missed them either.

I'm with you fedup. Totally sick of this in between-ness now.

dry you will look stunning as always.

My coat arrived. Really like the fit and the dark navy colour but the buttons are huge. And they have an anchor on them Hmm. Can't change them as they're stitched in under the lining. I'm unlikely to wear the coat without a scarf so it does cover up the buttons but will it still annoy me knowing they're thete?

maradesbois · 01/10/2014 10:59

Hi Voguettes,

Sleep don't worry don't think there's any danger of confusing Z&V and Pauline Fowler! Fab cardi.

Am having tea at Armani café, very Vogue Wink

Marsha how was KST? I think she's a great cinema actress.

Am at shopping mall to escape the heat but heart not in it tbh. All the brands you could imagine are under one roof, should be heaven but I just want fresh air.

Queenc great peacoat, personally I don't mind anchors. Ds and I are often dressed like a couple of sailors, can't help loving the nautical look.

Big black tie event tonight, finally get to wear dvf maxi I got in summer sales, yay.

bettykt · 01/10/2014 11:33

Novice what's the largest size R&B children's shoes go up to? I suppose they can only be bought in store too?

Meeting a friend up town tonight so may take a look if I get there early enough. Am desperately tired at the moment so need to wake up, I look and feel like death.

Will have a proper catch up later.

LinusDKD · 01/10/2014 12:39

Afternoon!

No fashion news here either, spending my day with DS who's off nursery with an upset tummy. He can't seem to keep anything down, not even water.
Sad

santamarianovella · 01/10/2014 13:34

Sad Linus, poor thing, hope he gets well soon, DD is off today too, she has fever, spent all morning watching frozen, and peppa pig, she is napping now,

shop that is no good at all, yes contact Gap about it,

queen it looks good to me, and I'm not bothered,by itbut if its something that will constantly bother you, then better return,

mara have fun this evening,

fedup i know what you mean ,the weather here is so unpredictable, wish for some autumn weather, its October!

MarshaBrady · 01/10/2014 14:52

Oh no Linus that is tough. Hope things are improving.

Blair and Mara KST was fab. Very intense play, loved her smile at the end, nearly the most!

Drywhiteplease · 01/10/2014 16:56

Just flicking through the Atterley Rd booklet that came through the post. Find the magazine format v tempting.

Friday night......Fedup I tried my leather skirt with new whistles heels and a BR cap sleeved, boat neck turquoise satin top I have ....tucked in breathe in looked really lovely with my big bling tastic necklace, but the top has an elasticated waist and peplum which rides up so you can see the elasticated bit iykwim Sad which looks rubbish. I need a dressy, coloured top to go with my skirt, can do daytime smart, but not evening smart.
May opt for the turquoise satin top, necklace, shoes, black skinnies and Disco Hmm.
I'll try not to bore you all stupid before Friday

MarshaBrady · 01/10/2014 17:01

Never Dry!

Great news Shop!

Agree on this weather, am pretty much boiling every afternoon .

MarshaBrady · 01/10/2014 17:03

Mara sounds lovely. Let us know how the amazing dress event is Grin

QueenC it's a fab peacoat, but I think the buttons might but you.

MarshaBrady · 01/10/2014 17:08

bug you!

QueenCardigan · 01/10/2014 18:42

Having tried on the peacoat again I think I love it enough to forgive it the buttons.

santa and linus hope your little ones are ok.
mara have a fabulous evening.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 01/10/2014 18:46

Thanks Sleep, such a beautiful dress, I think I managed to pin the right one from JP website. I definitely want lace sleeves. I am slowly getting organised with appointments for Saturday, but it's an expensive ordeal as each one costs £30 or so!

Not boring Dry, the first outfit sounded perfect until you mentioned the awkward peplum. I really struggle with going out tops, I don't think I own any. Which is silly because I love skirts!

Linus and santa hope your little ones feel better soon.

QueenC you can't see the anchors on the buttons on that coat from a distance, so I think only you'd know they were there.

MarshaBrady · 01/10/2014 19:11

Good one QueenC actually I couldn't see them either really.

Santa hope your dd feels better soon.

Sleep that cardigan is fab.

Work has been mad for about five months due to project wins. But I can see the light and am really looking forward to that free time whilst the dc are at school. Phew!

Karbea · 01/10/2014 19:36

I find all tops hard I've fairly big boobs for my small frame, so I'm always paranoid about gaping holes or weird stretching. I end up In floaty tops for evening, but I'd love something more structured really.

OneLittleLady · 01/10/2014 19:40

Hello all

Busy busy day at uni today, lots of note taking and practical lectures. I have a bazillion notes to get typed up to pass on to classmates, they are doing the same and passing them to me. feels good that we are all willing to help each other out with this kind of thing. Lots of readers to go through with questions to answer for next week so lots of home studying to do. I have my highlighters at the ready!

Absolutely gutted because the strap on my favourite, multi pocketed cross body bag snapped today as I was on my way home and it can't be fixed. Need to find a new one in a similar style, it's all the pockets that made it so useful. If anyone has any ideas on where to look, please shout.

Pleased with my outfit today, fuschia pink sleeveless v neck fit and flare dress from Dotty P and a grey, long sleeved cable knit merino woll Max Studio cardigan. Felt pretty but not overdone for uni

shopafrolic · 01/10/2014 19:42

Sleep you're on fire with your Pins ATM - lovely things.
Just sold a load of stuff on EBay that is all too big. Made a couple of hundred - shame it goes to pay off the CC!

BrandyAlexander · 01/10/2014 19:51

Hello all! Sooo tired.

Dry, I am being dim, what's on Friday?

LibThanks

Karbea, RB told me that on some children's shoes they go up to adult size. 5!ShockShockShock you have to go in the shop though. Well worth it to pay 1/3 of price.

Karbea · 01/10/2014 20:49

novice I'm only a 3 so well within their child sizing.
