Morning all. Thanks QueenC - this is going to be a major adjustment for me! I keep looking at websites and my eye is trained to skim over the brights and head for the khaki and gold. Need to reconsider everything. I think I'm going to go lipstick shopping tomorrow and work from there.
I need to buy a fuschis (HoC 62), a Burgundy (HoC 512) and a red (HoC 27). Can any of you winters give me any tips as to what to try in other brands as the HoC red had no staying power at all........

shop head over to the winters thread and browse through the past ones as lots of lipstick recommendations there. No62 is my absolute fave. Can't remember which red I had but it kind of turned pink on my lips. I had a Rimmel one too but I don't wear red. I can send it on for you to try as I literally tried it once. I really like the revlon lip butter in raspberry for a toned down look as its bright but sheer iyswim.

Not sure what my dance would be. Would love to do a quick step with Robin, would be fun.

Poor Dp has been ill all weekend so we haven't really been able to do anything through his visit. Hopefully he will be able to book a week off or at least a long weekend off at the end of the month to come up. He's also sorting me an oven and BIL is going to fit it once it's delivered. might be a week or so before it comes but I can mange til then, I've managed til now so it's not a hardship to do it for a bit longer

Morning! Rant alert! Did some washing, was putting clothes out to dry overnight but there was stuff from previous day when our housekeeper had done the washing. I spotted this helmut Lang sweater hanging. It had been in the washing machine. It's dry clean only. It feels all scratchy and smaller (which is fine as it was a size too big anyway). But my £200 luxury knit doesn't feel quite so luxurious. Just scratchy.

Nothing worse Novice . Poor jumper.

I really like that Shop and I know I was in the Shop must be autumn zone I'm getting used to the new colours after seeing the lovely stuff you are pinning.

The cleaner my dh had when we met was forever washing my dry clean things and tumble drying them... Them she'd fold them in a washing basket and leave them in the kitchen... Next one of his cats would come and make them it's bed. Great!... The cleaner is no more!

Sorry to hear both you and your dp haven't been well.

The jumper thing is soooo annoying. I have been a total control freak about the washing and drying even when I have been under work pressure, preferring to do it myself at the weekend. But then I wasn't getting any quality time with the dcs so it was either woman up and have a conversation about how I like my laundry done, get a new hk or stress myself out by continuing to do 8 loads of washing at the weekend. So we had the conversation 5 weeks ago. All fine first 3 weeks then last week it was ds' top with a motif in the tumble dryer then this.

It looks like no fun Sunday for any of us! I had the worst flying experience ever yesterday! My flight was delayed for 3 hours! And by the time I reached home,I was ready to commit murder, had very little sleep in the last 48 hours ,,dh is not feeling well, and I'm taking dd for a play date shortly, I seriously feel like collapsing in any given minute,
