Great news Shop, how exciting!

Im out tonight with lovely friends, and really annoyed I haven't stocked up on Wolfords. No tights, means no dresses / skirt. Drat

libertychick · 11/10/2014 15:53

Oh jewelled winter sounds fab shop! Hang on for the sales though.

You have lots to work with though. Jeans will all be OK and you have your black pistols and your black and white M&S coat from last year. I must get it done....

shopafrolic · 11/10/2014 15:54

It was sooooo good Liberty a total revelation - I can't believe the other woman got it so wrong and I couldn't see it and tried to make it fit.

LinusDKD · 11/10/2014 16:04

Wow shop those colours sound like colours I like to wear!

Tip: if you have yellow gold jewelry you can have it treated to turn it into white gold. (I think they put into a 'bath' with Rhodium)

I am happy you're happy with your 'diagnosis'

Eek, big change shop! How exciting, and totally explains why you've always said you can wear black so well. I'm so glad you saw it clearly and sound really confident. Am obviously sad to lose you from my online Autumn crew though Wink (although if you're ebaying anything good I'll be first in line!)

If I can help at all I'm v happy to - maybe if you have a pin board of current wardrobe I could advise on what might work and what might not? Anyway, PM me.

AmberNectarine · 11/10/2014 16:30

You're pretty much the same as me then shop - I have very similar ** colours.

shopafrolic · 11/10/2014 16:36

I thought that might be the case Amber - so if the HL dress fits then at least I'll have something to wear out!

Karbea · 11/10/2014 16:40

shop that sounds great! I think I'm definitely going it get it done when I've some cash, before I start buying anything.
Are you in London? I'd prefer to use someone who has been recommended, I looked on the website last night and some of the colourists (I've no idea what they are called?) look very stepford :S

shopafrolic · 11/10/2014 16:44

I'm in Herts Karbea

Karbea · 11/10/2014 16:51

That's close enough! I'm in south bucks!

OneLittleLady · 11/10/2014 17:15

I knew you'd be a winter! those colours sound divine, very similar to the colours I wear actually (though I have no official diagnosis regarding colour)

shopafrolic · 11/10/2014 17:21

I don't think it works like that Karbea she does home visits and only covers a certain territory....... but anyway, she's the St Albans consultant on the HoC website.

Karbea · 11/10/2014 17:23

Oh do they come to you then? The ones I was reading last night sounded like you went to their studios.
Ummm either way, it's great to hear you had a good experience.

OneLittleLady · 11/10/2014 17:30

I wonder if there are any consultants in my area who would be willing to do a home visit since I have limited mobility? I may have to investigate this as a possibility

shopafrolic · 11/10/2014 17:32

Both I think Karbea - a lot have studios but she has been doing it for 10 years now, and only does it at weekends to 'keep her eye in' so does home visits. The woman in Berkhamsted has a studio. Varies from consultant to consultant I think.....
I definitely recommend it. :)

shopafrolic · 11/10/2014 18:22

Waves excitedly to Novice
Is anyone passing my a Uniqlo anytime soon who might pick something up and post it to me?

libertychick · 11/10/2014 18:26

I might be able to do it on Tuesday shop, if not then definitely on Friday.

Sleepwhenidie · 11/10/2014 18:33

Agree, make him a ghost pirate like the Carribean ones Novice

Help please, suddenly realised I may have messed up my diary - what date is MU?

Drywhiteplease · 11/10/2014 18:34

Zombie pirate Novice get some face paint in black and red. Sponge his eye sockets with the black and put blood all over his face and arm......easy.
Shop sounds like a good day.

Sleepwhenidie · 11/10/2014 18:34

Oh and Ds2 is going as a very cute bat on Halloween...will link...

Sleepwhenidie · 11/10/2014 18:35

Bat!

libertychick · 11/10/2014 18:35

22nd is MU Sleep...can you make it???

Fedupnagging · 11/10/2014 18:35

Phew, mn all back to normal and have just caught up.

Novice, that doesn't sound too good. Do you need antib's? Hope you recover soon though.

Shop glad you have your colours sorted and are happy with them. I'm a winter too but no idea 'which' winter. Look forward to seeing lots of lovely links in those colours. Btw, saw someone wearing our scarf today!

Santa Shock at your dm and glad she is ok. My dm definitely plays down how unwell she is.

Lib sorry you got such a hard time work wise - it sounded like you were certainly putting the hours and effort in. Nice jeans which you will definitely get loads of wear from.

I struggle to buy trousers and dresses. Trousers because I am small with a tummy (jeans being the exception) and dresses for the same reason. Knitwear, in all it's forms, is really easy.

I have a few purchases to link later.
