Sidling in again to say hi, weddings are a very great inspiration - a couple of friends have had Emilia Wickstead dresses I've been impressed with, much much better than her ready to wear.

I'm not sure of the etiquette (silly word) to join this thread and supportive group but I thought I would add some recent purchases? Saint Laurent medium bucket bag in black (four years post cancer clear scan present!) and a Dolce and Gabbana wool leopard a line skirt from Farfetch.

I have a need of gold/embellished pumps or sandals to go with a dark teal/navy embellished Erdem dress for a significant event . Have scoured the normal suspects to no avail, but if anyone had any suggestions, I'd be very grateful.

Hello Texan! Do please jump right in, there isn't any etiquette at all! Also don't feel like you have to be buying something to post. Eg I shop in frenzies and I can go for ages without buying. Excellent news on the all clear scan. My Dsis celebrated the end of her treatment this summer with 3 new handbags.

There were some lovely glitter heels on the Outnet recently, quite high (is that ok Texan?), blue or gold iirc. Will look to link

Sorry, can't link from my phone. I'm a massive Erdem fan, he's amazing and lovely. This dress is called Leola if you google. I've looked at various Manolos( have Hangisi in topaz and black so didn't want another, snd liked Euphrasia but no blue available), Jimmy Choo and Rochas but no luck.

On a different note, I'm loving Moda Operandi's new London presence. They have always had a great buying team but they seem to have 'got' our preferences now. My purchases this pre season are (mainly) Preen, D&G and Rochas.

Ok......building update it's been a long time my new bedroom is decorated! No carpet, curtains or wardrobes yet...but eta is beginning of Nov. it's looking great and we are using the new bathrooms which are fantastic. As a result we are having a frugal Christmas . I need a dressing gown that's all. Impossible to find a nice one I must be a granny

The Christmas discussion has motivated me to book flights. Done! Gosh I find that stressful, dates, places times etc. I made dh check everything, and still missed something with the accommodation I have to fix, argh.

Aw, wow QueenC, I love my picks - would probably be a rebel and wear the leather dress with the Givenchy flats (which I have now pinned to my wishlist btw, so thanks for that!)
