QueenCardigan · 24/09/2014 17:37

hopefully if anyone can pull off that hair it's you Smile. You might scare your clients though if you're working Grin.

Karbea · 24/09/2014 17:55

I really like this. But have no need for it...

santamarianovella · 24/09/2014 18:16

I have no idea shop , haven't examined it closely, it was the it bag, in LFW, along with Anya's cereal bags, the small one looks painful though the chain is really thin, and looks like the kind that digs into shoulders, when bag is heavy .I like this bigger version love the colour too,

shopafrolic · 24/09/2014 18:18

That is very lovely Karbea

I was slightly worried about scaring clients QueenC, but I figure I'm already a little alarming... Grin

Might see if my (amazing, very reliable) hairdresser laughs me out of the salon.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 24/09/2014 19:12

That is a gorgeous colour Karbea! The one I bought arrived promptly yesterday and I used it today. Wish the hardware was gold but otherwise I love it, it's brighter and warmer than the pic shows. I can see why Marsha is such a fan of the Trio :)

Hopefully I think a deep, slightly wacky colour like that in ombre could really suit your style (which admittedly I only know of from your blog)

I need thoughts on my planned outfit for work do tomorrow please... (lunch in central London, followed by pubs/bars until the last train home, or possibly even a taxi)
Aquazzura heels
River Island leather skirt*
Grey v-neck t-shirt
Zara pearl earrings
Topshop black clutch (only one that will fit emergency flip flops in)

Do I need a bracelet/necklace?
Pencil skirt/t-shirt combo inspired by Dry* (â„¢)

Fedupnagging · 24/09/2014 19:14

Stokey sorry to hear dd is unwell, probably the reason she has been so upset. It's probably worth persevering for a little longer and if she still doesn't settle, then have a break for a while and try again.

Hopefully that is a fab hair colour - very striking.

That clutch is a gorgeous colour Karbea and am loving the larger Chloe Drew. The bag thread has gone quiet - am disappointed as loved drooling over the bags!

Really don't think I will keep either pair of M&S boots. Not massively comfortable and I don't think they suit me. Will try on with some different trousers and see.

shopafrolic · 24/09/2014 19:26

Ducking off to Pilates but HoC booked for 11th Oct

QueenCardigan · 24/09/2014 19:39

blair if you added anything I would go for bracelet rather than necklace but just a simple one. You've got striking shoes and lovely textures with your skirt and bag so only need minimal accessories IMO.

These are the worlds most unstylish, but, oh so comfortable slippers

Karbea · 24/09/2014 19:50

How much is a hoc session?

QueenCardigan · 24/09/2014 19:51

Gah, my iPad is playing up and I cant copy and paste anything for some reason so can't show you the shoes that I tried on.

santamarianovella · 24/09/2014 19:54

That not bad queen they look very nice actually,

blair I think your outfit is ok as it is, let the focus be on shoes !

OneLittleLady · 24/09/2014 19:55

The brogues, though lovely colour and soft leather, are a bust. They are too big and there are no other sizes available as they are last years. The hunt continues

Fedupnagging · 24/09/2014 20:05

Great outfit Blair and no you probably don't need anything else as those gorgeous shoes say it all! How did your car day go?

Forgot to say it was The Mousetrap we saw last night. We did intend to go for food first but there was an horrific accident so stuck in traffic for ages and only just made curtain up.

Met an uber stylish friend for lunch today and wore the same BR crops as last night and pink silk blouse also BR and took my lovely Kate Spade grey bag which she loved. so I was well pleased

Am looking gorgeous in pj's now!

Drywhiteplease · 24/09/2014 20:13

Blair love the outfit (ofcourse!) I'd add lots of layered bracelets or a long necklace (not both). How was Silverstone? V jealous. And I love the MK blue bag.
Mara I was in burgundy skinnies today with these a long lone blush H and M cotton l/s cotton fine knit and this scarf quite warm up here.
Shop I think I need a red Marcie!
Karbea the pink clutch is lovely
Stokey it's hard hen littlies cry, so tough. I really feel for parents. At least you know why she was upset. Don't beat yourself up or rush her either, plenty of time Smile

OneLittleLady · 24/09/2014 20:16

Sounds a lovely coat Dry please do show pictures.

I saw a lovely coat in M&S of all places, wool, cashmere and a teeny bit of polyester. May have to try and sneak it on the christmas list Grin

Drywhiteplease · 24/09/2014 20:17

And I wish Mel and what's-her-name on The Bake Off would sort their jeans out.

Drywhiteplease · 24/09/2014 20:34

coat here but I think mine looks better, straighter on the skirt

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 24/09/2014 20:49

Love the story Dry and great news on the coat!

Ok, will see how I feel tomorrow re outfit and maybe try a bracelet or cuff. I will probably wear a watch so that might have to count instead. :) thanks all

Fedup and Dry it was good thanks! They seemed apprehensive when I said I had no previous track experience, but it was really fun in the end. Instructor said I did well but I hope that's not just because he expected me to be rubbish didn't know I had a tow hook when they asked me to put it on the car

That's a shame One, is it definitely brogues you want?

Karbea · 24/09/2014 20:51

blair love the outfit.

OneLittleLady · 24/09/2014 20:56

I'm not sure now tbh blair I really do love the ones I bought but since they are too big, back they must go. Real shame as I've been eyeing them up for ages. Might be better looking at boots though, given how cold it's been the last couple of days!

Topazandpearl · 24/09/2014 21:41

Hi again, it has taken till now for me to catch up.

Shop the clothes and colours you wear really suit you.

Well done to your neighbour (and you for being so quick) Dry.

Your outfit sounds great Blair, as does yours Fedup.

Am glad uni is hoping so well One, and of course you'd make friends Smile.

Mara hope you had a good weekend in the end.

Stokey I hope your DC is better and will get over the upset of nursery.

Betty congratulations on the job.

Today was my first day back in opaques and shoe boots. Someone said they prefer winter clothes - me too.

There was more I wanted to say but don't want to risk losing the thread by going back.

Hello to everyone I've not mentioned. Coming back to the thread feels like returning to a roomful of friends Thanks.

Fedupnagging · 24/09/2014 22:16

Great find Dry and love the colour.

One shame about the brogues. Hope you find what you are after soon.

Welcome back topaz. Am thinking of digging out opaques tomorrow too, to wear with either boots or flats with a black and cream short sleeve dress (précis petite I think) and jacket.

Drywhiteplease · 24/09/2014 22:22

Topaz I love winter clothes ESP opaques Smile
Shop I need HOC to tell me what season my new bedroom is, having trouble deciding on colours Grin....looking at your dark winter colour chart I think there seems to be quite a cross over, I like a lot of those colours too.....bet linus does too! a lot of greens, bluesand teal tones
