Love my Hush harems stokey but I should have biught them in black and not charcoal. The grey is too brown for me and doesn't go with many of my other clothes.

I guess it doesn't matter much as I wear them as loungewear because I feel a bit self conscious wearing them out and about.

Good to know Linus, they're definitely on my wishlist.

I don't know if I'd wear them out either, I'd have to see how tracksuity they looked.

santamarianovella · 23/09/2014 11:25

stokey I have hush harem , perfect for lounging, but the colour did fade with wash,

And juicy couture did go under, after exposing us to the biggest fashion crime In history, they decided to have mercy on us . although I'm sure all the leftovers will end up in discounts stores everywhere and thus more people will be wearing them Hmm
But I will miss their nighties Blush

Shock
MarshaBrady · 23/09/2014 11:29

Shop what happened, what did she say? What will you do?!

Lol Santa at Juicy Couture- yep

OneLittleLady · 23/09/2014 11:59

a winter?! how do you feel about that shop??

shopafrolic · 23/09/2014 12:01

So, she has just left. She was brilliant. She came in through the door and said I've been thinking about you and I just don't think you're an Autumn. We went upstairs. Went through some basic draping (not the full spectrum) and basically showed me how the cool tones work better on me! Weirdly my hairdresser has always told me I suit cooler tones more too.
She said it's because of the natural pinkness in my cheeks, showed me how the autumn colours gave more shadowing on my face, how they highlighted my under eye circles etc etc.
So basically I have been building up an entire wardrobe based on the wrong colour analysis. WWYD?

Shop I'd go back to HoC and ask for the rerate service just to be sure, this could be an expensive mistake! You only had your colours done in the last 2-3 years, didn't you? I just don't understand how one of them can get it so wrong unless colour analysis is a big fat lie

I mean surely HoC showed you how autumn colours made your face light up??

If I'm baffled then you must be super confused!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 23/09/2014 12:16

Also, anyone got any tips for staving off a cold? I've just felt my throat go all scratchy in the last 10 mins. Taken some paracetamol and am drinking lots, but any other ideas please? :(

shopafrolic · 23/09/2014 12:16

I wasn't done by HoC before. It was an independent stylist.......

MarshaBrady · 23/09/2014 12:16

Shop yes go back to the original HOC person. Blimey! I'd be feeling a bit Confused and a bit sad too about all those beautiful clothes. You look fab in autumn colours btw, but maybe take a pic in a winter colour and see if we can tell?

MarshaBrady · 23/09/2014 12:17

x-post

Can you get back in touch with that person?

shopafrolic · 23/09/2014 12:17

Explains why black suits me......
Get really strong Vitamin C - the high dose dissolvable tablets.....

MarshaBrady · 23/09/2014 12:18

Blair oh no, not sure on that one.

MarshaBrady · 23/09/2014 12:19

Marant Etolie blazer arrived and I absolutely love it.

Santa you're a star, the FR36 is fine, even over a jumper. So glad I got this size, thanks for the heads up.

Now I actually own a blazer!

LinusDKD · 23/09/2014 12:21

Yes, vitamin C blair!

Wow shop what a shock. I have to say I like you in khaki, orange, cream etc and I can't imagine you wearing cobalts and fushias like me.

MarshaBrady · 23/09/2014 12:22

I know, you really do suit autumn colours.

shopafrolic · 23/09/2014 12:23

I am a bit in shock.
But before I had my colours done I wore a lot of cobalt, fuchsia, jewel tones.
Totally don't know where to go from here.......

Stokey · 23/09/2014 12:26

Gosh what a shock Shop

I thought pinker skin worked better for autumns/spings, while olive skins were more suited to cooler colours like winter and summer. Do you prefer gold to silver? I'm olive-skinned and look terrible in autumnal colours. Or maybe you're at one end of the spectrum like QueenC who is winter going into spring. We need Hopefully.

Blair have you had some echinacea (sp?)? That's meant to boost your immune system. I also down lots of Innocent smoothies when I feel a cold coming on.

shopafrolic · 23/09/2014 12:28

I think that's it Stokey
I was described as Warm Deep - by the previous woman - which translated to a Deep Autumn, which is the closest to Winter I think?

OP posts:
BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 23/09/2014 12:31

Maybe you're borderline Shop? You need Hopefully... I can't imagine you in silver jewellery though. But I have only met you once!

Thanks, will try to stock up on vit C and echinacea at lunchtime.

Blazer looks lovely Marsha.

shopafrolic · 23/09/2014 12:36

Honestly could cry right now.

OP posts:
santamarianovella · 23/09/2014 12:38

I don't know, shop, you always look good, never thought that any tops or jumpers you have are bad on you,
It's like switching hairdressers and the first thing new hairdresser says, who did this to your hair? It doesn't suit you.

blair boil some ginger and drink it , a friend gave me this life saving tip, it literally Wipes if out instantly, burns but really good,

Yay! marsha , I'm glad,
