Water... I only managed one glass yesterday. Must do better!

Am remembering to moisturise and skin feeling nice.

113 days to go

I'm so tired. I just couldn't get to sleep last night. I stopped drinking tea in the evening a few months ago as I was having problems going to sleep but had a mug at 6.30 last night. I thought it would be early enough not to effect me. Seems I was wrong. DD was also wide awake at around midnight and DH was snoring. Not sure what time I fell asleep in the end.

Hello! It's my first time on one of these, here is my list.

  1. Oil cleanse
  2. Keep running
  3. Drink a pot of green tea every day
  4. Get back to doing daily yoga
  5. Tidy my dreads before Christmas (it's a massive undertaking!)
  6. Keep the sugar intake low
  7. Keep chocolate intake to my nightly piece of high cocoa
  8. Only drink when going out (I'm pretty good at this actually, it's more of a reminder!)
  9. Keep finger and toe nails tidy and toe nails painted.

10. Clear out my wardrobe (by Saturday actually as I'm off shopping with my sister)

I'm feeling the tiredness pain today, DD3 (2.5) kept waking up and howling. We have a birthday party to go to later and I have a meeting of the asylum seeker's group I'm part of at lunchtime. First, shower, oil cleanse and yoga.

Cleansed properly last night, and night time serum.

Did my 10 leg lunges each side and arm lifts at the same time, then 20 arms over head, and 10 arms up to the side with my weights. Not a huge amount, but if I remember those every night, it will help.

Have done cold water wash today, eye cream, serum, moisturizer, makeup, handcream. Too tired for a shower this morning, so used hairspray to deal with flyaway hairs and will make myself go to the gym for a swim and shower tomorrow morning on way to work.

Blueberries, smushed raspberries and yoghurt breakfast, followed by 1 cup coffee. Have a plum in my hand now.

Not enough sleep, but will recitify in coming days (had to wait up for new au pair to get in from 1st class, twas only polite and we need her to be happy to stay the whole school year!).

Sitting on my ball at my desk, so core getting worked on too.

I'm doing very well with skin care regime and started exercising again yesterday...but not so good with diet. Any tips on cutting out biscuits/chocolate etc? The cravings are bad, especially when stressed/upset and I keep giving in but this is stopping me lose weight. I'll never be slim for Christmas if I don't crack this! Well done to everyone else who's started. x

Yesterday

1) Moisterise feet every night. I always forget to do this and end up taking days to get my feet okish in the summer.

2)Drink warm water and lemon in the mornings. I do actually like this and feel a lot more alert than I do just drinking tea.

3) Organise everything for the following day, the night before

4) hair mask once a week

5) look after my nails more

6) take healthy snacks when out and about

7) buy a diary and keep all apointments in it

8) Polish boots more often

9) prepare evening meal in the morning as much as possible

10) get out of bed when the alarm goes - don't just hit snooze then go back to sleep

11) move alarm clock to other side of bedroom to force me out of bed.

12) bed at 10 and read for 30 minutes.

13)stop swearing

14)drink 1L of water a day

15) budget, budget, budget. Get all bus fares in for the week on Saturday. Allocate £10 for bread and milk throughout the week. Meal plan.

16)start eating up the food in the freezer.

Another fast day today. Felt a bit harder today but stuck to it. Water drunk, eyes moisturised twice, flossed, cleansed.

I'm not going to get to exercise this week. Will hopefully get a sports bra Friday and will start then. Keep forgetting to body brush & moisturise as well.

lucy dreads sound cool!
biddy what's cold water wash? Washing your face in cold water? Tour breakfast sounds yum.
fairy I think the only way to cut out something is to get rid of all you have in the house and then go cold turkey. Not that I'm much good at thanking that advice myself!
smiles just noticed stop swearing on your list. Could do with that on mine as well. I've introduced a swear jar with FIL &BIL now that DD is 12 months!

well done ladies, all progress is good progress! we're gonna be beaming by Christmas so long as we don't outshine the Christmas tree Grin

helga, jaws DS is 7mo and likes his breast. I'm hoping that he will eventually just forget to eat at 2am and 4am and just sleep through, rather than us incorporating some of the many sleep methods which I haven't the heart nor stamina for. Until then....make up, exercise, face creams and prayer Wink

big fairy have you tried things like Ryvita with jam (no butter) to replace the biscuits? they're quite filling after the 3rd or 4th one as you then get a reallllly dry throat and have to drink copious amounts of water.
Jacobs crackers are equally as nice but I could eat half a packet with just butter on it.....

Apart from the couple of g&ts I had tonight all going pretty well. Met friend I haven't seen for ages and.... well, not much willpower going on.

I did swim 30 lengths this morning though. And ate really well all day. Moisturised too. Smile

Still working on my list but doing okay with the drinking water and body moisturising so far. Meal planning and fruit eating also doing better ths week. Next week I will try to remember to add exercise in to the day, this is harder than it sounds with a 7 month old and an inflamed very sore pelvis. Good work so far.

Really bad night's sleep, so feeling like I am terribly hungover but sleep deprivation rather than alcohol cause. And I had a rotten day at work, followed by rotten arrival home (DD pinned me in car for 10 minutes, feeling hard done by from the whole world, then my sister finally rang me back at a bad time and spent it criticizing me!) so I had a bag of crisps (waffles) with a small glass of wine before bed. I should have had a bath instead and given up on attempting to watch GBBO or Grand Designs!

So caved and had cinnamon swirl with coffee for brekkie. Followed by a plum with tea in office, and a glass of water. I may get enthusiastic for yoghurt and berries later, and I do have my salad for lunch.

Sitting on yoga ball at desk.

Forgot arm exercises last night.

Did do proper cleanse of makeup, face serum, hand cream.

Handcream this morn. And am getting better at not picking at the edges of my nails (the skin around the edges) so they may look decent in a few weeks.

Too tired to go to gym even for gentle pootle of a swim, so no shower, will be out at lunch so maybe then, or else just decent shower tonight at home.

I DID book a facial for 2 weeks time yesterday, as there was a really good special offer in my beauticians, so normal facial price but with hand and nail treatment, eye treatment and eyebrow shape all thrown in.

Today will be better as not totally off the wagon and there is time to rectify this yet.

helga my dreads are beautiful! I have a bit of loose hair fuzz going on though, which I will get my friend to sort.

1. Oil cleanse
2. Keep running off out for a run this evening, I'm training for a 10k.
3. Drink a pot of green tea every day
4. Get back to doing daily yoga

  1. Tidy my dreads before Christmas (it's a massive undertaking!)

6. Keep the sugar intake low doing well so far, did have a piece of cake at a birthday party yesterday, but that is the only refined sugar I have had.
7. Keep chocolate intake to my nightly piece of high cocoa
8. Only drink when going out (I'm pretty good at this actually, it's more of a reminder!) although I have a bottle of Prosecco that was on offer which is calling me from the fridge!
  1. Keep finger and toe nails tidy and toe nails painted. Need to do this today.

10. Clear out my wardrobe (by Saturday actually as I'm off shopping with my sister)

I cleared out my wardrobe this morning. Chucked stuff that is tatty/too big/I don't like. I seem to have a jumper problem, I have lots of them. However, living in a Victorian house with no central heating does justify the obsession!

Off out to a picnic with friends in an hour, then running this evening followed by a house meeting (I live in a housing co-op).

biddy you have my sympathy! I find it really difficult to eat well when I'm tired. I tend to just do what I have to to get through those days, then try again the following day. No one will notice you fall off if you get straight back on!

I was too tired to update earlier! DD woke at 3.30 thinking it was time to get up for the day. The dog started whining to go out and the cat started hitting the window that he wanted to come in! Even thoug she was awake DD was happy enough until I got up to go to the loo and she just started sobbing. DH was still there! It was 5am before baby, dog and cat were all settled again! I hoped she'd sleep in a bit this morning but she was awake at 7am.

So please forgive the lack of name checking. I'll be back later.

biddy my willpower disappears when I'm tired as well. I've eaten whole packets of biscuits before. You've inspired me to check out my beauticians special offers. I used to get loads of treatments but have had nothing done since DD. Time to start again.
lucy a picnic sounds lovely. The weather here (I'm in sw Ireland) was fabulous today.
orangey welcome. Keeping it doable is very important
smiles I always forget my feet as well. I've got former and going to start with that.

I was thinking how to keep on track with everything and I saw this habits planner. It doesn't fit in with my budget budget budget plan though so I've done up my own version on excel. Wasn't that hard (although I got stuck on something and asked DH and he's now taken over!). Will print it out weekly and can tick off items as I complete them.
