Glad they're getting better apple

I'll send the 19 year old your way if you like??! He certainly seems to have an excess of keen-ness! Grin

I like being fabulous for us. Just think what dizzying heights we will reach by next Christmas! Smile

Glad you like your hair orangey! How are you styling it?

Had great plans to achieve good food, taking care of myself over the weekend that just have not panned out. Had a satsuma about 7 yesterday morning, then my "lunch" was a packet of crisps, two bars of chocolate and a coffee at about half 4.... I was bloody starving! Forgot my vitamins and fish oil as well.

Plan for today: porridge with nuts, vitamins, 3L of water, something sensible for lunch (don't know what, maybe scrambled eggs??) and then there's some veggie soup in the fridge at work that I haven't had time to heat up, let alone eat, and I'll make sure I eat that at some point this evening.

Is everyone all sorted for Christmas? I need to get some veggies and wrap a few things up. Going to do that tomorrow, then I'm surrendering myself to whatever happens Xmas Grin

OrangeyTulips · 22/12/2014 16:43

need to get veggies and lamb for the big day but pressies are all done.

Have the windswept look pixie as hotel I'm staying in was evacuated at 6am and we stood in our barefeet and pajamas in the rain! The hairdressers styling products 'fused' in the rainGrin . Will have a shower tonight to rectify this style anomaly - remembering to keep the door closed so that the sensitive smoke alarm doesn't react Confused . (cause of evacuation...)

appleblossom23 · 23/12/2014 08:59

Did you cause the evacuation??!! Xmas Grin funny, though I'm sorry for your fused hair. What on earth was on it?!

I'm off today! twirls around in joy have got long list of stuff to do but feeling pretty cheerful about it. Kids eager to help which is lovely. I was thinking about doing a list of Ta-Dah's - things we've achieved, or that have even just got better since we joined this. Like for example, I've still got a wobbly bum, but I can go for a twenty minute run now, and I couldn't do that however long ago it was that I found this. My skin looks loads better - I think because of the fish oils. It was described as "plump and glowing" a few days ago which is no bad thing. I'm going to keep taking them Xmas Wink

Will have to be on the computer to do this cos I can't scroll back on my phone, but anyway. I thought some congratulation was in order. I'm also wondering about helga and the other folks from the thread - hope everyone, and their families, is well.

Just hit the online sales to buy more neutral stuff for my wardrobe. Eating well and going for walks but we are down with colds. At least it's not the noro virusConfused ! Hair is super easy to style - should have done it ages ago. justcuse a soft wax on it and I glam it up with earnings and makeup.

Hope you are all feeling Christmassy!Wine

appleblossom23 · 24/12/2014 17:12

Hi

Orangey, we've all got colds too! Lots of sneezing in our house. Deep conditioned my hair, did my nails, had a long bath and then moisturised all over this morning. Have done a few little last minute jobs and tidied up for Santa coming, but really not getting overwhelmed by the whole thing. Full of cold, the children are going to have a lovely day regardless of what I do now and I'm working from 1 tomorrow so my Christmas Day isn't happening till Friday anyway! Am hoping the kids settle to sleep ok. Last year DS fell asleep about half 7, woke up half an hour later convinced it was Christmas morning and then cried until after midnight because he couldn't get back to sleep! Poor boy. They've all had loads of fresh air today so fingers crossed they'll feel sleepy after their baths and I can sort the pressies and have some wine at a reasonable hour.

Have a fabulous Christmas everyone Xmas Smile xxx
